But, all wasn't lost if we could get a quick tow and get him or a taxi to get us to Enterprise so we could rent a car. The glory of Junior Brown was in our grasp. But for only a moment. The truck driver had a leisurely stroll to intercept us and he wouldn't drop us off at the airport. He dropped us at a shut down mechanic shack where no place to go. If I was the driver, I would have at least insisted that I that you to a gas station where it should be safer. Customer service wasn't on his radar today. The taxi place told me their excessive delays have wrecked my evening because I now have to miss the Junior Brown concert in Dallas. Basically, they laughed and were proud to be the instrument of my misery. I told them that they need to express empathy. They said something like, "Yeah, we'll get right on that." Crooks. Now that that's off my chest, my short interchange was most pleasant. Super nice cashier. Store was super neat. I don't need more. Clean bathrooms and average people == killing it! It doesn't really take much to shine, but this lady was fantastic. She helped put a bright spot on my otherwise misfortunate night.

I stood by the register as all the employees I saw ignored me not a hello, welcome or anything I stood at the register for 20 minutes. I would've rated 1 star however Jordan was a very good & kind employee who helped me out as soon as He has seen me. He was helping customers, taking care of the lot & doing his job very well. My biggest complaint is with the lady with brown hair who wasted time with the employee off the clock & took a smoke break in the time jordan was doing her job. She also failed to greet or address anyone entering on the truck side while she was behind the counter. I will be skipping this pilot next time I see it.

I had just driven through several hours of torrential downpours & high winds, so I did not need the bad attitude of the cashier. I usually pay at the pump, so I do not have to go inside to pay for the gas, & I get a receipt at the pump. This was especially important on this occasion as it was pouring cats & dogs. The printer was not working... Bummer! I was drenched when I got inside. I went to the cashier to get a copy of my receipt. I told her that it would be nice if the printers worked. She completely ignored me. I told her why it was important to have the printers working so I would not be drenched as I was then. She just rolled her eyes tilted her head and looked at me like I was from Mars. I told her what pump it was, and she asked, "How much was it?" I told her that I did not know how much it was. She said that she needed to know how much it was. I told her I was not going out to the pump in the rain to find out. So she scoffed at me and did nothing. I told her that I pumped 5.01 gallons (I do keep up with my gas millage). She said gallons did not matter. I told her again it was pump #5. She was livid at this point. She printed out a receipt, which thankfully was the correct receipt, and slammed it down on the counter. I left, getting even more drenched going back out to my vehicle. In all fairness, as I decompress, as I was leaving the store a male employee, articulate & helpful, offered me a large trash bag to use as a raincoat but I declined. The pump area was spacious, clean, and well organized. The store interior had organized & with stocked shelves with just about everything you might need on a road trip. However, on that night, all I needed was a pump with a printer that worked & a cashier not to throw a bad attitude my way. This review was two stars instead of one star because of the guy that kindly offered me the pseudo raincoat.

This the cleanest and most well run station in Tyler. And Shell gas does give my car better…read moremileage. 2.5 to 3 miles per gallon or better. It is in-advisable to run gas through an engine, especially a turbo engine, with gas that only has the minimum additives required by law. Shell gas has the extra additives to keep your engine running at its best efficiency and that will save you engine repairs. Plus, you will get more miles out of each gallon of gas you pay for.

The clerk inside was so nice with a smile. When I needed to know where the restrooms were she said, "it's to the right of that corner and it's clean". Aah, thank you! And correct she was the restrooms are outside and right around the corner. It is quite small, but was very spotless. In the back of the store was oil changes, inspection stickers, and car maintenance. There is a free vacuum station for when you fill up at every pump. I thought well that's pretty cool, but I had already cleaned my vehicle out. This filling station is the way to go if you want good service and long lasting gas. I filled up here in Tyler and it took me to my destination- Houston. Thank you!

Easy access being located right on a major US HWY. it's open 24/7 and has plenty of fuel pumps. I've never had an instance where the pumps weren't working or questioned the cleanliness of their filters. This store is locally owned by a family that has deep roots in the town. Inside is always clean. There is a large selection of wines both locally sourced as well as large national suppliers. There's also a candy wall of assorted by the lb candy, an ice cream bar that serves blue bell ice cream, and other prepared lunches and snacks. There are also the usual snacks sodas and beer in the cooler. Attached to the convenience store is a Whataburger. This is a busy location and has had some growing pains but that is a separate review. The Whataburger and convenience store share a bathroom. I typically find that the bathroom could stand to have a little attention, but certainly not the worst in town. I actually drive a little out of my way to visit this location. I think it's worth it.
