Jennifer was extremely rude. doesn't know how to answer basic customer service questions like, what is the maximum or minimum check amount a customer could cash. The first time I was told that she had to verify/clear my $500 payroll check, which was the next day. then an second visit, I was told they cash checks for more than the amount I had but couldn't cash my $1500 dollar check with a manager. okay, why wasn't there one available. The people are very nice here. But there is never a sense of urgency when there is a long line. They are just so relaxed and haven't a care in the world that people are waiting. Just because people need their services doesn't mean you treat us like it's no big deal to keep us waiting. It's still a business and without customers you have no business. So many speedy cash places I wish I could write a review on all of them to warn everyone of a nightmare to come. I got a 2600 dollar loan and pay 139 dollars every 2 weeks for the past 8 months and now I owe 2700 dollars. It's a trap. It doesn't help your credit score if you pay it off and will only hurt it if you don't. It's a nightmare and a trap. It will only hurt you and I understand things happen and we all need some help to get out of a situation but this is not the solution. These are bad people that will only hurt you. read more

Walked into this Speedy Cash location hoping to get some information on their services. To my disappointment, female at the front counter was not very helpful. I pointed out a list of rates they had posted on the wall of their business. I asked a simple question, "Are these rates for cash advances or loans?" She answered, "I don't know anything about those." Well, an employee working there SHOULD know about what's posted on their walls, or if not, direct me to someone who would be able to help me. But she had no clue. It is surprising how someone employed by such a business was unaware, uninformed & untrained as to information posted on the wall of the place where she works! It is also unbelievable how an employee could be so rude, uneducated and unprofessional! This female employee is an embarrassment to this business. They are great with small loans or wiring money. But please people, please before applying for the large loan 2600. STOP!!! This is a trap, the people that work may be the friendliest you can come across, but they trap you with this large loans. There is a daily interest of $7.35 on top of whatever interest it comes with. I made 13 payments of 200 total of 2600. AND ONLY 178.36 WENT TO MY PRINCIPAL!!!! I know when your are struggling any options looks promising, but this one will kill you at the end. Worst part is, they try to convince you and give you reassurance that you can pay this off in a year. Oh another thing if you try to make larger payment than the minimal, they charge 200 on interest for making larger payment to get rid of this loan. So if you want to pay $400 towards your loan only 200 goes to principal. Its a nightmare I wish someone warm me. But life is hard and i fugged myself over!!! I made it harder! I went in to get a replacement debit card because I had lost my wallet earlier that day. As she is helping me the line gets really long. There is a phone number that you need to call in order to activate the card, but you have to do it in the store . The lady behind the glass called 3 times with no answer. She than gave me a piece of paper and asked me to call and do it in the store. I did as she asked. I called about 35-45 times. I got hung up 4 times. I went back to this lady working and let her know what was happening and how I have called on my cell phone for the last 45 min and got hung up on 4 times that something else needs to be done. She didn't say one word to me and grabbed her lunch and walked out the store. I asked the manager what the hell? Right in the middle of helping a customer (45 min) and she walks out. Manager didn't care what was happening. She was busy chit chatting with another employee as she was counting her money drawer .As this is going on, I have been calling this phone number cause it's the only way I can get a card. Low and behold someone answers and I gave the info as instructed. Then she tells me that I have to refresh my screen. Lady, I am the customer doing the employees job. It took 2 credit cards and another 20 min to get me what I was there for. These two women have no accountability and are 2 of the laziest, disrespectful people I have met in a long time.
