Only 1 teller and the other teller keeps disappearing to the back before helping the next customer. The experience I had was them debiting my account before my do date causing my account to be overdrawn. Then we they took the funds from my account I was charged an extra 15.00 because they said the funds were not available on the date it was due. I spoke to someone at the toll free number the first person was helpful. When I called back to inquire about the 15.00 fee this rep was rude and sharp toned. Unfortunately.. can't say the same about Anne Marie who was rude, unprofessional and extremely unpleasant to work with. Dirty looks, attitude, long dramatic heavy sighs and tossing of my personal items wasn't appreciated. I also wasn't provided with any of my loan documentation following my approval (only cash&receipt), I had to ask for everything. Isn't that something that should automatically be provided or at least give me an option to decline? Initially, I was upset by the fact that I made an online application and specifically requested to pickup said funds in store ONLY TO ARRIVE AND BE TOLD that the cutoff time is based upon CST (I live in California). But my frustration turned to anger because the store clerk was exceptionally rude in her explanation, advising me that I needed "read the terms closely". Furthermore, while the funds were in fact placed in my account the following morning as promised, I also received my Direct Deposit and ultimately had no use of funds. Accordingly, I borrowed $255 with a $45 fee for no benefit because of a policy which makes little sense considering that if you choose store pickup, you should be able to pickup during that store's assigned hours of operation. read more

The lady was rude, the website staes a military ID is a form of acceptable ID, i gave them my veterans military ID, my social security card, my debit card and was told because there isn't a expiration date on the card it isnt valid. The website doesn't state that, which means only active duty military IDs can be used. You have to make $50,000 plus a year to be able to even get them to consider you! The percentage rate is astronomical and it just does not pay to try to get ahead with these people. One bad thing happens that costs you extra $$ (car or something like that) and you are in a perpetual loop that forever spirals downward. I know this for a fact because I applied to both and Dollar Loan actually told me that I do not make enough to qualify for a loan with them. Went in for a payday loan and Melanie made it super fast and real easy for me all I needed was a check stub, bank statement which I didn't have so she was able to look at my banking info on my phone app which was very convenient for me and a check that's it!!! I was done and out the door within 20 mins and they even had a something to keep my niece entertained. Also keep in mind the loans are due on Saturdays. I know the employees we're trying to be helpful but before someone takes the time to waste gas to drive to their location it would be nice if they gave out information more clearly. I knew u had a tricky situation on my hands so I made it a point to ask a lot of questions over the phone before I drove to Montclair to get my check cashed. I received a check from my former property management company it was Wells Fargo personal check it was made out to me and my boyfriend. So I made it a point to ask if my boyfriend had to be there, to ask if they cash personal checks,to ask if I receive all of the cash today and they told me no problem employee did mention that the company had to be open and that they would check with 411. To be more specific she asked is this an open company? I replied yes so I drove out there to Monclair my boyfriend left work early to meet me there and when we get there were told that we can't get the cat check cashed they have to call the company and verify the check. This property management office was not open on Sunday I don't know why they need to make sure the company is open when it is a personal check. I know I might just be upset because I wasted time and money to go there and I am without cash still it could've been easily avoided by explaining more clearly over the phone. By saying is the company that issued you the check open today because we will have to call them and verify the check. I know this was miscommunication but it's just a little advice to the employees of this company that you need to be very clear especially over the phone because I am not a mind reader and clients and customers are not mind readers so you need to be very clear read more

When you call a place asking a question regarding a situation with a time limit you'd think they would try there best to help you. But the girl I spoke to around 7pm on 6/29/15 just said "i dunno" Showing no sign of trying to help, I had to push the question by asking "Well is there anyone around who does know?" From there I get a reply " I can ask a manager, leave me your name and number and I'll have them get back to you" They get back to me next day when I'm out of time. Thanks but NO thanks! Please stay away from this place. They are not helpful at all. Yes, it is already a burden having to visit a place like this. There are other places that offer the same easy service and are much more helpful and compassionate if for any reason you are not able to pay on your specific date. Also please stay away from their Easypay on Electronics they will charge you an arm and a leg and it will cost you more than the original price you actually pay about 3x the amount. It is very easy to pay the min amount because it is deducted from your account. So one assumes its being paid but the balance continues to go up and the payments are barely covering interest. Its probably better to save your money and then go but the product when its on sale. This is just my warning as a consumer of this establishment. So I went to speedy cash on Thursday 5/8/14 for a cash loan , this was the first time I needed a loan an and I decided to give this place a shot. I was a little nervous walking in as I didn't know how the whole process worked , I met Melanie who was amazing! She walked me through the whole process from start to finish! I gave her my pay stub, proof of a banking account and my ID and she went to work , I even had to run down my bank (which was conveniently located just down the street) and she waited for me to do so, so I could get some banking information I needed! Got back and she let me know I was approved for a full loan amount but I didn't need that but it was nice to know it was available so i agreed on the loan of $200.00 and was told that debit card that was on file would be charged on the 16th of May, they even give you the option of calling them beforehand to tell them you need an extension if you don't have the money in your account, Melanie was amazing from start to finish =) she even sent me a nice thank you card in the mail :) thank you Melanie for you great customer service I will be back for another loan soon =) read more

When you're helped in this location they are too rehearsed and they aren't clear about when the loan is due. I had the impression that I had more time to pay my loan, but it was a totally different date. They took my entire check from my account and when I called to get help they disregarded my issues and it was my first time getting a loan. I will never get a loan again because of this experience. read more
