I returned outside and approached the first employee, A SHORT HISPANIC WOMAN. I asked if anyone was working at the front desk, but she rudely dismissed my inquiry. I then inquired about a supervisor. It seemed as though she had already made up her mind that professionalism Was not in her training and simply stated, "What do I want?" At this point, she had the opportunity to make a positive impression on me, but I chose not to engage with her. I reiterated my request for a supervisor. She turned around and ignored my request once again. I approached 2 OTHER MALE HISPANIC employees, but they also ignored my request. It was evident that there was a lack of professionalism in this business. I left the location because I refuse to support businesses that display ignorance and disrespect. Shoutout to our local community heroes! Hard workers and very efficient. The little store inside where you pay has cool gadgets and accessories for your car like air fresheners and wipes. It is really neat to watch the car go through the wash after the vacuuming. The team that does the final drying and wiping down the inside move like a well oiled machine! I was referred to this place from Kia of laurel. Apparently they have a contract with this business because of the fact that due to the service center being so small they don't have a Carwash. I pulled up and l know about 3 cars pulled up ahead of me and no one said a thing. They don't guide you anywhere. So when l got out of my car to give the cashier my coupon that was given to me by Kia of Laurel. She was very rude and stated the car wash they give you at Kia we don't vacuum your car which is not true. She wanted to sell me her packages to upgrade. WHAT! I am only here because it was offered as part of my service for my car. They already paid you $15.00 don't try to sell me your service when it's already included. She caught an attitude and wrote on my receipt. "KIA" Ok do that mean l get less treatment. This service is already paid for so l don't know what you're trying to prove. Oh but l was watching them carefully and let me tell You there is NOTHING SPEEDY about there service at all. It should be called SPEEDLESS! The whole process had me there for almost an hour and the only reason I am giving them two stars because my car did get cleaned eventually. Wow and this was a Tuesday. I usually stop to get my truck washed on my off day, during the week. The wait is not bad and the weather was fantastic on this particular day... but tell me why I have to always point out water spots on the hood and the back windows? Why do I have to always straighten my license plate (the license frame is not phased)? Why do I always find several spots inside of my truck that seem to have not been touched? Can you at ,East clean all of tHe windows, both inside and outside. ? I assumed when you pay for the platinum package, a decent window wipe down was included.., maybe not! At best this place is hit or miss. Some days you'll get a 'good' wash and others you'll just get something remotely close to a car wash. They apparently have a detail service but I have yet to see a review of said service. This place is for cleaning up your ride and moving on. They run a "gang-up" style service with large groups wiping your vehicle following the actual run through wash tunnel. If you are looking for attention to detail or overly friendly staff.......move on! Car always looks great when I get out of there. That said......If you have painted Rims and/or tires that do not have a protective lip, this place runs a wash that has a tire rail. This could lead to scraping. What an awesome car wash! Fast, reliable, and affordable. The staff are all courteous, and they listen to your requests and concerns. The last car/SUV of the day is just as important to them as is the first car of the day, and it shows in their work. Extra care is given to the interior of the vehicle so that no wet shoes or prints are left inside. They are also wonderful about splitting their tips. Handing a tip to one means that it'll be split with the others. That's amazing, and it makes you happy to tip! Vacuuming the car is done meticulously, especially with pet hair, and overall, they are much better than the "other" car wash on Montrose Rd. Besides the fine job on the cars, they talk to you, ask questions, and provide advice. I would recommend Laurel Speedy Car Wash to anyone looking for quality work, at an extremely reasonable price! I've been going to Speedy off and on for years. More off than on. I've seen management come and go. I've seen new marketing plans for customer and also seen (speedy) do more things to increase their revenue. I have yet to see better service by way of vacuuming (beginning) and cleaning (wipe down) at the end of car service. I don't expect to see my car detailed. On Sunday June 20th I took my vehicle to get detailed and the carpet fibers of my floor broad were totally ruined. The damage came from them vacuuming entirely too hard! When I spoke to the Manager, he argued that the damage was done prior to me coming in. Outside of the car looked perfect (mostly because of the drive through car wash and several people wiping it down), but the inside was not done as well as i would have liked. They vacuumed and wiped down everything, but they left a lot of residue on the steering wheel, dashboard and cup holders. So much so, that i had to wipe it off my self. Just a simple car wash, I'd go as far as to say you can get the same car wash from a automated wash at a gas station. For the $30 you pay for the premium wash they don't even clean the center console and dash as they say they do. Not to mention they don't dry your car. You'll still have water trickling off the sides. And you get a partial vacuum cleaning on the inside. I guess they use the same towel and cleaning product that they use for the dash on the windows because I had smears all across my windshield. I would imagine that for $30 and group of 4 to 5 guys at a car they would offer a thorough service. But in the end definitely not worth the $30 wash they offer. Took my brand new car to them for its first cleaning. I got the gold package just to see how well they would clean the car. They did such a lazy job even though my car needed barely any cleaning. This is your average full-service car wash. Nothing special about the routine service. I have been coming here for 27 years, through several changes in ownership. The mechanical wash is about the same as what you get at a gas station for $12 or so, nowadays. I always get the Silver level service at Speedy, because the higher levels aren't worth the extra money. With Silver, they vacuum the floors, wipe the windshield and side windows inside and out, towel dry most of the outside, and dress the tires. This usually involves about 12 min. of labor (4 employees @ ~3 min. each) and is barely worth the extra $10. The staff don't pay much attention to detail, so I too often find myself pointing out spots they missed, streaks on the windows, etc. When I first came as a customer, in the mid-90s, the price for a Silver-level wash was about $8. Now it is $21, far beyond the level of CPI inflation, and now they also charge an extra $1 for vans and SUVs. But they do offer a 10% senior discount, and a 10% military discount, if you qualify. They also offer a free wash after 10 paid washes. read more

The word KIA being written on your tickets, there is a purpose for them since you bring the coupons for them. They're pre-paid car washes, you don't pay for them unless you pay extra for vacuum and tire dressing. That lets the workers know that they shouldn't spend much time on those cars because many costumers come to wash so the employees try their best to get to everyone. Also, paying for the highest service means nothing but two extra chemicals being put on your cars when it goes through the machine. They're all the same services except the extra chemicals. You people don't listen at all rather than be ignorant and complain when your vehicles are done. Just move on, people don't have time to re-do it for you when there's other people. I've also seen people complain about their stuff being thrown out. Do the employees a favor and clean out the damn trash from your cars before getting a vacuum. They're not your maids to be taking every single trash out for you. So help them at least. Also don't leave valuable things in the car, employees aren't responsible for lost items. These employees work so hard, they especially work in freezing cold conditions and hot conditions just for us. Be grateful, imagine how painful it must be for them trying to clean out a dirty ass car. I am grateful that these people work hard and try their best to clean my car. Today was my first time at this car wash. I selected the Gold Wash for $25. First impression, the grounds are litter filled. Someone get a broom and dust pan ASAP!! The cashier did not get off her cell phone to help customers. The vacuum job wasn't good it looks like they vacuum the mats, but not the floor. I'm most concerned about the outside so I'll let that slide.There's no sitting area and since they have both doors open it was hot inside. It's 97 degrees today. Lastly, I noticed a few cars had their front license plates bent. It appears it was cars that do not have any license plate cover. Thankfully mine was not bent. My car was moderately clean it wasn't shining or anything like I expect it to be from a car wash.
