Each and every cashier I have dealt with has a very good personality and actually looks you in the eyes and speaks to you. They never act like you are inconveniencing them. They take care with your groceries and actually place the bags in your cart. The shelves are stocked and the meat and produce are stocked well. It is well worth the few extra minutes to go to this location.

However, there are more negative than positive and this is not a station I frequent. First of all why does yelp refuse to change the name. It's not Racetrac, it's Raceway. When asking yelp to change they reviewed it and left it the same. So if your looking for Racetrac you will not find it. So there are two listings, same address and my reviews identical. There is often debris in the area, not significant, but enough. The clientele at this fueling station would rather throw down trash by the pumps then put it in the can...go figure. The pump I most recently used had a missing enter button. That is an issue when it is required for a response to hit "enter" and your unsure where it is. I also like to use AMEX and they do not accept it. What is more frustrating is they do not have signs saying what they do accept. So when it said see the attendant I had no idea why. The attendant was with a customer and talking on his wireless head piece. I would not have been happy if I was that customer. He informed me NO AMEX. If I'm in the area okay if I must. But I will not go out of my way.

I went into the store and purchased $45.00 worth of premium gas a bag of chips. I went in instead of paying at the pump because my debit card and bank account was hacked 2 weeks ago. The night before this incident, the last time my card was used was me purchasing gas at the pump. I completed my purchase, walked to the passenger side of my truck, which will automatically unlock as long as my key is on me. The truck unlocked, I put my purse and my chips on the seat and closed the door. Little did I know, I had just locked myself out of the truck. I finished pumping my gas, walked back in and asked the lady behind the counter, if I could use the phone as I had just locked myself out of my vehicle. She did "Not" hesitate to hand me the store phone, I called my husband to bring the spare key....no problem!!! She even allowed me to stay inside the store because it is in the lower 50's and it's cold outside. She was very nice and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart! So you may be asking what the problem is.......I decided to walk outside and wait on my husband, I had been waiting on my husband for over an hour. My hubby did tell me that he was just leaving the hardware store and needed to go home first to retrieve the key to my vehicle. I walked back into the store and asked one of the two men that was standing behind the counter if I could use the phone? The first one said no and then he asked the other one if I could use phone and he said no! I explained to him the situation and also told him that the lady who was previously here had allowed me to use the phone, he still said no because it would cost the store for me to make a local phone call! A young man who works for Fed Ex over heard the conversation, I turned around and asked him if I could use his phone and he said no problem mam and gave me his phone! I called my husband and he showed up 5 minutes later. By this time I was furious! So, I can patronize your business but you could not help me, a women, by myself, all of my belongings locked up in the truck and you couldn't patronize me enough to let me make a phone call! I will "Never" patronize this Raceway again!!! I'm so done! Thank God my life wasn't in jeopardy! I am so sad that in this day and time that we can't be here to help one another in a time of need! When we first arrived no others were inside, but after 5 or 10 minutes customers started pouring it. Luckily before the others showed up, we were able to order food with no reservation. I could overhear others ordering and received push back due to the limited choices available. I have never visited Royal Farms after 'normal' business hours and expected to get food. But on this night it was a first and they came through. I believe my husbae ordered a chicken dinner meal and I ordered a few chicken tenders. I ordered three tenders, but only should of had two. The tenders were pretty thick and filling. :) It's been about 6 weeks since I visited and I haven't returned since. I plan to check them out during the day to see what they offer during 'normal' business hours. But the location was perfect and the service was pleasant as well even at that late night hour. This gas station is average. Typically, the prices are a few cents higher than the Wawa or 7-11 but…read morethe location is too close and convenient for me to pass up. They only have 6 pumps I believe, and they are positioned fairly close together. Essentially, if someone pulls up with a boat, they can block almost an entire side of the pumps. The inside has the typical convenient store stuff. I mostly see people there getting lottery tickets and beer. The air pump is fairly nasty and I dont like getting charged for compressed air. Take your car to Wawa if you need to put air in your tires. It is free there. It can also be tough pulling out of the station since it is located on a corner lot and there is a bad intersection there. Be careful.
