No, it isn't that he didn't hear me, he couldn't be bothered. I don't need to get treated with disrespect when I am paying you to do maintenance and have a simple question. I took my Subaru Forester to Speedway Subaru for a mirror replacement after confirming the correct color using my VIN. They installed an off-white mirror casing instead of the correct Dark Grey Metallic--then told me I'd have to pay extra to fix their mistake, even though they admitted it was their error. I followed up multiple times but received no response. Subaru of America was also unable to assist. As a final insult, a technician accidentally sent me an internal email complaining about me--rather than sending it to his manager. That tells you a lot about how seriously they take customer service. Given the dealership's recent change in ownership, I expected better. Instead, I had to file both a BBB complaint and a chargeback just to be heard. There are two listings for the same business so I'm posting to both. I've been here now twice since the change in ownership, and no, it's not the same, but second visit was better than the first. My first visit after the ownership change included an extra recommended item at a maintenance visit which always leaves me a little suspicious due to past experiences at other dealerships vs never having "recommended" add-ons under previous ownership here. Second visit had no "ma'am, your (insert expensive fluid or car part here) is (dirty, worn, etc)". They did just charge the oil and rotate the tires with no add-ons. If it had happened twice in a row, my spidey sense would have sent me on my way. They did permanently get rid of the quiet work room which is too bad, but they do have some tables that work for a laptop, but no outlets to plug in near the tables.... Another change...I received MULTIPLE texts and emails from them wanting to buy my car and sell me a new one including one that I received while they had my car...that said basically "we know your car is here for service, we'd love to buy it today"...joked to coworkers that this was kind of like a ransom note without a threat as they had my car! Seriously, one email would have been fine...but after that, I mean if I want to sell my car, I'll handle reaching out to someone. Anyway, I do miss the previous ownership and crew. Dealership visit on 23 Nov 2024 for a new Outback Touring model. Way to go with BS-ing a ready to buy customer! $399 added to price for "ceramic coating" stating it previously added to the vehicle." A temporary sealant, not a TRUE ceramic coating. Was paint prepped? Asked to take car at 4pm, 1 hr before closing and bring back on Monday, 25 November. Would only do so with a $500 deposit. AMEX card wasn't with me. Buick nor Cadillac asked for this. Sales person text, 26 Nov 2024 I'm in the office today. Let me know what you think after you research it. If the coating is the only thing holding you back I'll go to my General Manager and see what I can do. My reply: 26 Nov 2024 I'm going to pass for several reasons. This is more of a short term sealant rather than a TRUE ceramic application. I'd rather pay a pro shop to prep the paint first and provide a 5 year warranty. Dealers want to eek out every cent. I get it. They are in the car SALES business NOT the detail business. The chemistry on these products varies in the amounts of a couple of ingredients. Cerma Plate isn't in the top 5. The chemistry is not that of a true ceramic coating. Also consulted with a high end detail shop owned by a 30 year friend and only asked about Cerma Plate, no other details given. He laughed and asked "Which dealer tried that BS." I don't like at all, the forced method. The dealership would do well to reconsider this tactic / gimmick. The $500 deposit for a test drive over a Sunday. Higher end Buick and Cadillac didn't impose this. Those are my reasons for declining. There ISN'T a way back. Thanks for your time on Sat. LIARS! BS add-on fees they say can't be removed. Lied about "ceramic coating" and it had a price of $399 and an alleged 1 year warranty. Ceramic coating is $1,500-$3,000 + if done correctly and several years' warranty. read more

Brought in my 2025 to have a remote start issue resolved and a cpu software update and Tony the service advisor couldn't figure out how to check in my vehicle. Had an appointment and he said it didn't exist and that he couldn't figure out why there was a recall on it. I was like I have no idea it says it in the app. Horrible service. I left immediately and went to another dealership. Below are proofs of both appointment and the recall. He appeared very confused and was typing in the wrong information. They are boarding on incompetence. The service manager, the mechanic, & the service advisor each said something different which made me realize none of them knew completely what they were doing. What used to be a highly rated Subaru dealer has managed to earn a one star rating. The service manager told me to bring the vehicle back in only to be told by the service writer that the mechanic will not look at the vehicle without charging an inspection fee. The vehicle is under warranty & the service manager had driven the vehicle prior acknowledging a rear noise but could not pinpoint its origin. I was told by the service mgr himself if it gets louder to bring it back for inspection. But they would not honor what the service manager because he was not there. Although the service mgr acknowledged & apologized there is NO way I could in good conscience recommend these clowns. The are clearly struggling & passing that struggle right onto the customer. read more
