On Vetaran's Day I picked my son up early from his dad because he was off from school and my library was closed and we did 3 of the things on the list including gas hamptons. The bathroom was fancy but not as fancy as the book made it out to be. As promised there was art and a mural on the bathroom and gas station wall. My son got snacks and a drink here because kids want something from every single place you go. Despite my son being a nudge the guy behind the counter was cool about it. Definitely something to see. I also filled up my car here.

I put my money into the machine, it turned on, but no suction....went back to the cashier and he just shrugged and said sorry...okayyyy....can I have my $1.50 back?? He just shrugged at me and said it wasn't their company's vaccuums, and there are no refunds.....um.....excuse me???? I know it's only $1.50, but still, it's the principle!! Then he sent me to one of the RUDEST, nastiest gas station attendants I have ever come in contact with! He rolled his eyes at me, told me the machine was on, went outside to the machine, and said oh, the lock was off....he closed some compartment, the suction came back on, but there was only about 30 seconds of power left....I asked him for $1.50 since the time was running out out and so that I could finish vacuuming.....he yelled at me telling me to just be quiet and finish vacuuming with the time I had.......UM NO. HE. DIDN'T!!!! I followed him back into the cashier.....and after arguing....I got my money back......never again......avoid this place!!! Horrible horrible!

I asked the woman who checked me out how much the inspection was told $37. So... the oil change was $ 263??? When I looked at the hand-written bill I saw this: oil $90, filter $28, lubrication $12, washer fluid $10, brake fluid $6, air cleaner $25 and gear oil $12. All I requested was an oil/filter change and the NYS inspection. This may be the Hamptons, but not everyone is rich and willing to give their hard-earned money away without flinching! As the old saying goes...fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Will never go back to this establishment again.

Ok so get this little weird bit of info you probably never knew. A BBQ propane tank is called…read more20lbs. But full it weights 38.7lbs. It's not because there is 20 lbs of propane or because the empty tank weights 20lbs (but it's pretty close). It is because if the tank was filled to 100% it would hold 20lbs. However you never fill a propane tank 100%. 80-85% is typical. So if you buy 20lbs of propane here you actually get about 17lbs. Sounds like something is fishy no? It isn't. This is actually a good deal. Strong'd charges $23 for 17lbs. If you do the propane tank exchange think it costs $28 plus tax and you really only get 15lbs. The pain part is they do not always fill propane tanks. They have limited hours because only some of the employees can fill the tanks. I really felt like I was getting ripped off when I noticed my propane tank says 15lbs but they just charged me for 20lbs. After further research I am happy to report a good deal. And I fortunately didn't make to big of an a55 of myself.

I'm absolutely addicted to their iced hazelnut coffee, brewed from the flavored bean without any added syrup--it's bold, rich, and packed with strong hazelnut notes. I actually drive nearly an hour just to get it, at least once a month on a weekend day. Their pumpkin pie coffee, available only during the Autumn and only served hot, is another favorite of mine. I stopped by today to redeem my $10 birthday reward and ordered two iced hazelnut coffees--one with a shot of espresso, perfectly brewed by Brianna. No matter how busy this Hamptons gem gets, I'm always in and out in under 10 minutes. They also serve breakfast sandwiches and pastries (not really my thing), but the coffee is so outstanding that it more than makes up for it.

I got the Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich. The matcha had a deliciously sweet strawberry milk that I enjoyed! The breakfast sandwich was perfectly savory and filling. Highly recommend!
