I was very rudely insulted by the manager on duty this evening on 08/19/25 and it wasn't necessary for her to insult me behind a cup of ice ,and I don't not recommend anyone come to this pilot travel center. The place is very filthy on the outside and the shower area is in very poor condition, all of the door handles inside and outside are very nasty to the touch! I do not recommend this place to no one. God bless and safe travels to all. Truck yard is filthy with trash on the ground at all times,followed by poor management. The pictures speaks for themselves.

AAA Motor club knows nothing about the type of business this is. This auto repair shop was recommended by AAA, had my vehicle for a couple of months, never ran a diagnostic test, left everything on in the vehicle bleeding my brand-new car battery to nothing, and asked for excessive and exploitative amount of money to repair my vehicle but could not explain in detail why the cost was extreme. And when I asked for the auto repair shop to return my vehicle, they (Risk's 66) dropped it off in the middle of the street in front of my home. I suggest avoiding this establishment at all costs and taking your vehicle somewhere else.

I believe the workers work for tips, at least Ja'Lila does who served us. During our hour there we observed a mix of folks coming in. Some were obviously regulars chatting it up with Ja'Lila while they sipped their drink. Another couple on a road trip stopped in on their way to the east coast for some coffees and to use the WiFi. Some were in and out. Steady flow. Everyone treated with respect and dignity whether you made a donation or not. Donations are pay what you want. I'm not a coffee drinker but my sister said it's good! I got hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is homemade and I got fresh whipped cream which was also homemade. Delicious! Can you get that at Starbucks? Just asking I wouldn't know. I no longer lived in South Bend but if I did this would be my new spot.
