It was running low on gas. It was the perfect time to explore a gas station. I found this Speedway a couple of blocks away. The reviews for this gas station are low. My rating will be an anomaly, likely because I didn't deal with humans. I filled my car's gas tank at the pump and left without saying anything to anyone. Maybe that's the key. Don't talk to staff and you'll have a better Yelp rating? I could be wrong. There seemed to be a steady flow of customers needing to fuel their vehicles. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I paid at the pump with a credit card. I like that Speedway does not prompt you to enter your ZIP code. I don't have one because I'm a Canadian tourist, but I do have a way of getting by if I must enter one. I learned later on that the Alt ID prompt on the screen allows you to enter your phone number associated with your Speedy rewards. I have been submitting my receipt through the app. I no longer need to. This gas station was clean. I had no issues fuelling my car. I got my receipt so that I could submit my receipt for reward points. This Speedway has a convenience store. Many folks were heading inside to either prepay for gas or buy something. I didn't need anything, so I didn't check it out. I had a good experience here. I'd drop by again when I'm in the area and need fuel or a snack. (14)

This location only has 1 car wash tucked away behind the building. After the wash, I went inside to grab a drink. The drink selection is endless - coffee, shakes, soda, water. They also have a wide selection of both hot and cold food ready to eat as well as a selection of groceries including a small selection of produce. Overall, this is a great gas station to stop in if you need a snack or a car wash. One unique thing about this location is there is a patio area with tables and benches to eat at, but probably not in February, even if 40 degrees.

I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. He then drove to Texas and back for a work trip. We then drove up to Duluth last weekend-and noticed a noise coming from one of the tires. Had a friend who knows about cars look at it, turns out the lug nuts were not tightened (he could remove them with his fingers.) Seriously? How do you not make sure the lug nuts are not tightened? Seems like Mechanics 101 to me. This could have been a dangerous situation. What if the lug nuts had come off while he was driving to Texas? Car could have been destroyed, potential traffic accident and injury. Thank goodness none of this happened. We have given Youngstedts multiple chances with car repairs in the past, and their customer service is just awful. Please-save yourself the time and money and go anywhere else. NEVER going back here again.
