I wasn't sure how I was going to get a replacement card, then I ran into Spinx employees at a booth at a business expo. They said, just download the app! It's fantastic! Scan the QR code on the pump and then it knows exactly where you are and lets you start pumping. After 10 years of having my card, I don't feel guilty about losing it now! The reason I'm giving this location one less star is because of the car wash. You would think since this location is less than 2 years old, the car wash would get my car spotless. But every time I've used it, even with the $25 Mack daddy car wash, my side mirrors and backend of my car are always still dirty. It's easy to see the dirt left behind on those spots and require extra scrubbing when I get the car home. Besides that, another winning Spinx location.

I can easily scan the QR code at the pump using their app and pay. Also with their app you can add the locations you use the most to your favorites and quickly see what current gas prices are. With a new car wash company popping up on every corner in CHS right now, I still use this locations if I have time. The only thing that I've found at this Spinx location (and many others) is they don't keep up on their lottery scratcher displays. They'll display that they have tons, but when you ask, they don't have the ones displayed. I'm sure it's an annoying part of the job to go around front and remove each card after it runs out, but if I worked there I'd find it more annoying getting asked every 5 seconds for something that's sold out.... You decide!

I visit the Harris Teeter Fuel Center to use the Fuel Points I earn from shopping at Harris Teeter…read moreeach week. By being a member of Harris Teeter's EVIC program and entering your phone number at the pump, you automatically save 3 cents per gallon off the advertised price. Most days, you earn one Fuel Point per dollar you spend in the store, but on Friday, you earn FOUR Fuel Points per dollar spent, if you clip the electronic coupon. This means if you spend $25 on Friday with that coupon, you earn 100 Fuel Points, and every 100 Fuel Points is 10 cents off gas. I let my Fuel Points accumulate all month, and at the beginning of the next month, the receipts tell me how many points I can use to save at the pump. I mostly shop on Friday, so most months, I save 40-80 cents per gallon on a fill up by using Harris Teeter Fuel Center. Occasionally, Harris Teeter runs deals where you earn 4X Fuel Points all week, or 4X Fuel Points on the purchase value of a gift card (Harris Teeter, Amazon, and VISA/Mastercard excluded). The Fuel Center is never crowded and even has free WiFi. The pumps have mobile pay, and if you want a snack or drink, a few options are available, along with a worker who can ring your order up. The only reason I'm not giving the Fuel Center five stars is because you do not earn any Fuel Points from purchasing gas here. Since that is the case, I only fill up here when I am using points for discounts. If I earned Fuel Points on buying gas- even 1 point per dollar- that would be a better incentive to fill up here anytime I need gas.

But you do get a great idea of what this place will become when you walk around looking for things and you see an immense selection of dog food and an immense selection of bottled wine. KJ's Market is the low end subsidiary of Lowes Foods. With this location on Johns Island where unfortunately there is only a Food Lion, and at this large intersection with loads of traffic both local and right on the road toward Kiawah and Seabrook Island, and you can imagine the reason for the intense upgrading.
