My husband and I stopped by Tiger's Eye Coffee Shop, and we both loved the cozy, eclectic atmosphere. I ordered an affogato, and my husband had a salted caramel latte. Both were excellent, and you could really taste the quality of the coffee beans. I also asked about the cookies and learned that they're made by a retired neighbor, which made the experience feel even more personal and community-oriented. I loved browsing the locally made crafts throughout the café, and the unique décor gave the space so much character. There's also a chess table in the back that looked especially inviting. Tiger's Eye is a charming spot for thoughtfully made coffee, homemade treats, and a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

I've only stopped at The Table once, so take this as a first impression, but it was a good one…read more I was waiting on something nearby and needed a place to camp out for a while without driving any farther. The Table came up in an app search as a coffee shop, so I stopped in for a coffee. It turned out to be much more than a coffee shop. It's a full restaurant, and that's worth knowing before you go. What stood out most was the staff. I arrived during what I think was their last hour of the day, while they were starting their pre-closing work, and they were amazingly friendly and helpful anyway. Most of us have walked into a place near closing and felt the staff thinking, "Great, now we have to dirty everything up again." This was the opposite. It felt like they were glad to see me, and it came across as genuine, which is hard to pull off in any restaurant. They let me take my time and answered a couple of questions about their coffee. The weather was decent, so I sat outside along with a lot of the other customers. They had water set out, and someone was keeping an eye on the outdoor tables. The place looked good and clean, and with the crowd that was there that day, it had a college-campus cafe feel. The only thing I'd mention is the immediate surroundings. The sidewalk where the tables sit and the parking lot right beside the building looked like they hadn't been cleaned up in a while. That isn't a knock on their building, and it may be more a product of the part of town than anything the restaurant controls. The Table isn't hard to get to, but it isn't a place you'll stumble across by accident either. Four stars reflects how little I know so far, not anything that went wrong. In my reviews, three stars means acceptable, and I don't give five lightly. I'd go back to try the food, and when I do, I'll update this review. For now, it's solidly good and worth checking out.

The Chili Momo was very hot. Regardless of heat level, the food was incredibly good. The flavor was off the charts. The Pork Kaan was so hot, it was giving me runway model lips. But it was still sooooo good. Smoky flavor, crispy/chewy texture, etc. The momo had a decent amount of filling and the dough was very thin. The samosa chaat was probably the lease impressive . . . but it was still good. The food was nicely packaged in metal to-go containers with plastic lids. It was already stacked well in a plastic bag. The price wasn't terrible. I was out of there for under $50 for 4 dishes. I only have one complaint. The guy taking my order tried to talk me out of the spicy and unique dishes. He said I wouldn't like the Kaan because Americans don't like it. When I said I wanted some dishes extra extra spicy, he tried to talk me out of it multiple times. I didn't mind the guidance, but I don't like the assumption that people like me don't like spicy food. And if I confirm I really do want it spicy, please don't keep trying to convince me otherwise. Despite having to argue for spicy food, the food itself was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. I was offered two small bottles of water to drink while waiting for my food to be cooked. Definitely a two thumbs up experience regarding the food.

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. I need a Lancaster Brewing in my town.

I was on my way to my hotel, passing by starving and decided to give it a try. I understand it was a Sunday evening, not too busy the staff were a bit confused on what server had my table. Thankful for the young lady who took my order and care of my table. The entree that I ordered for dinner, wasn't the best in quality or taste. I ordered Captial Chicken.. the description read grilled chicken, pieces of crab meat , broccoli Swiss cheese, and hollandaise sauce, with two sides. The chicken in my opinion, wasn't grilled, extremely chewy , didn't really taste any crab and the holldaise sauce bland. My waitress I overheard say to the kitchen, something to the kitchen about adding paprika to the dish. Luckily I caught it, and declined. That wasn't even listed on the menu as added to the dish. May need a refresh on chicken preparation . This diner sadly wouldn't be my choice to return for an entree. Perhaps, maybe what diners are best for breakfast.
