The middle eastern guy with the dark beard and heavy accent practices appearance-based discrimination and prejudice. I'm an American, and a 2-branch veteran. I was wearing a highly visible Burberry case too, and linen clothing from J Peterman. A white man entered right before I did and he was politely ignored. As soon as I enter the beard hollers out something at me. I picked out 2 Pepsi bottles and 2 candy bars. I was carrying a bulky bag as I'd just made a large, $60+ purchase at Shakeys. I was fumbling the candy because I was carrying a lot and beard yells "Can I HELP you?" But he said it in a suspicious, unfriendly and hostile tone.
