Who likes to be stared at like a common criminal while trying to choose snacks to buy? The middle eastern guy with the dark beard and heavy accent practices appearance-based discrimination and prejudice. I'm an American, and a 2-branch veteran. I was wearing a highly visible Burberry case too, and linen clothing from J Peterman. A white man entered right before I did and he was politely ignored. As soon as I enter the beard hollers out something at me. I picked out 2 Pepsi bottles and 2 candy bars. I was carrying a bulky bag as I'd just made a large, $60+ purchase at Shakeys. I was fumbling the candy because I was carrying a lot and beard yells "Can I HELP you?" But he said it in a suspicious, unfriendly and hostile tone. He was staring at me every moment I was in the store too. I said "You know what? I'm not comfortable here, you're staring at me and treating me like I'm some sort of criminal." He replied, "I watch everybody." I left his trash there without spending my money at this Circle K. I told him he's a fool, which he is for having such overt prejudices and laying them on unknowing people who spend their money at the Downey Circle K near Paramount and Stewart and Gray. Circle k is the shittttt! The staff is dope, open late and the always in a good mood . One time I stole a pack of alcohol when I was super drunk but the next day I was able to pay for it and I'm still able to go to circle k there pretty cool! Lol read more

Overall is a nice place better than the 7-11 around. Saying that went in to take my lottery scratchers took 4 each with a winning ticket and he tried to say I only gave him 3 tickets. I counted them in the car and held them in my hand as I walked in so pretty hard to lose one. Regardless left a bad taste in my mouth if they do this over a 1$ scratcher who knows what else they try and cheap out on. Guess I'll be going to 7-11 again atleast there they won't try and rip me off read more

Over charging !!!! I stopped made a purchase $1.29 but it rung up $ 1.49 so I asked why the extra $.20 he said it was tax OK so why are you charging me an extra $.22 at the end of the transaction I didn't know that every time you buy something that each item is taxed . Another day I went in when he was like 100° outside to get a drink which would've cost $.89 and the cups that they advertise for $.89 they claimed they were all out I didn't realize that until I got to the counter that the cut was much smaller and they still charge me $.89 stay away go to 7-Eleven no compassion for their customers read more

We've been going there for years . We probably spend over $10 every day there (but no more). They recently changed owners & the changes have been for the WORST. They are unfriendly & can barely speak either English or Spanish. They do not honor their coupon specials in regards to Thrifty Ice cream. Their Grand opening special is .99 a single scoop ice cream cone,but they insist (untrue) that 2 scoops (should be $2) wont fit on a regular cone & have to be upgraded to more exspensive waffle cone. My wife had exact change until they forced the unnecessary larger cone on her. Anyway,enjoy the few cents extra you made guys because you lost at least $10 a day ($300 a month) by being little,dishonest,penny pinching A holes. read more

I come here so much. Like multiple times a week. I love their assortment of food, drinks, and chips. They even offer Thrifty's ice cream! Service is usually okay. Some dudes are more friendly than others, but I mean it's not like they're rude. I love how it's cheaper than 711 here AND it's closer to me than 711 is. I'm an ultimate foodie. I would know. There's a new circle K in town, Downey, that is. Popped in for a fountain drink and use of their facilities. Looks like their restrooms are for employees only. I asked one of the employees there if I could use the restroom anyway. They were kind enough to let me use the restroom (employee opened it with a key). Also, any size fountain drink is 89 cents!!! Even 7-11 or AM/PM can't beat that! Since its on my way home from work, I will most likely return. read more

The girls are dolls they happen to very nice, efficient and they often make me smile. The transaction fees are garbage you have to spend your money to spend your debit card funds.
