Stopped here driving through on a 15hr drive after taking a semi's greasy, muddy flap to my hood and windshield. I saw their car wash was open and paid and when the door slid open, the nightmare began.
One of their water lines for the wash had blown and was spraying inside the wash shed created huge, thick icicles across the machine. To get into the wash shed is a tight squeeze but if I went through, I would have damaged by vehicle so I called inside the store.
The clerk was exceptionally and incredibly rude. When I told her I thought one of their water lines had blown and was spraying everywhere causing huge icicles to form, her response was "yeah, well i don't know who would want to wash their car when it's below 32* out!" Not sure what that had to do with the blown line but besides that fact, I'm not from Colorado. I'm from up north where if we didn't wash our vehicles because it was 32* we wouldn't wash our cars to get road salt and other gunk off our cars for months so not only was I unaware of the temp (as I hadn't gotten out of my vehicle for a while) but I also wasn't aware that wasn't a thing down here. She left me feeling very stupid, which is not how someone in customer service should be making a patron feel. It also made me wonder then why the wash was even open.
When I asked her if I would be able to back out so I didn't damage my truck going through the ice dam, her response was "so long as you don't damage anything." At that point our conversation was over.
I didn't even go in to request a refund or refresh on drinks and snacks like I'd planned, I just left. What a horrible impression and attitude. read more
