The only true restaurant operated within is Scooter's though there are stations for hot food from other restaurants inside. The decor is well above average, reminding me of options like Wally's and Loves, with above average options of different goods to buy inside - particularly Grab and Go food. This reminds me a bit more of a Walgreens / CVS. I liked the filling stations as well, well spaced and look like they support new technologies. While large touch screens seem to be more and more common, I do appreciate the extra large buttons on the interface.

So much so that I would like action to be taken against this employee. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but this is not the first time that he has treated my sister and I this way. Immediately when we walked into this store, he practically told us to get out. This employee never acknowledges us. I simply asked if we could purchase IL scratch-off lottery tickets. I was immediately told in a very aggressive tone that lottery is closed. I can use the machine. Trust me, I would have preferred to use the machine, but the ticket I wanted was behind the register. I then asked why scratch-off lottery was closed and he yelled that they close at 9? Still prompting for an explanation, as I knew that you could purchase and redeem lottery scratch-off tickets, until 2am, he simply screamed that it was closed and to get out. Please refer to the link stating specifically the timeframe you can purchase and redeem scratch-off tickets in Illinois. What time do they stop selling scratch off lottery tickets in Illinois? (askinglot.com). At this point I began to videotape because I was that upset. I proceeded to ask to speak to a manager and he said, get out, you can come back in the morning. I asked if I could give him/her a call and he refused. In the meantime, my sister wanted to check out an item she won through your current Fuel Runner promotion. He did finally check her out but was not happy about it. In fact, he mentioned under his breath that you only come in here to get everything free! Yes, we do come in because this is the only location near us, to redeem our promotion earnings, but if they did not want to honor these, they should not be a Circle K Franchise. This is simply unacceptable as nobody should be treated this way, especially as a customer. To make matters worse, I stopped back in this evening 4/28 at 8:30 p.m. to purchase the scratch-off tickets. It was a different clerk, so I asked him what time they stop selling scratch-offs behind the counter. He told me never. You can purchase those 24/7! So, here in lies my point. Absolutely ridiculous. Be warned!

When I was in Barrington over the weekend, my GasBuddy app told me that Meijer was that place. There's not much to say about a gas station, generally. However, I will say that this one was clean. It's with the Meijer store that's here, which is part of a larger collection of stores so there's at least one or two restaurants nearby. It's relatively large, with probably at least 8-10 pumps, and when I was here there were only one or two others so it wasn't busy. I appreciate that they have a dispenser with gloves to use on the pump, and I'd appreciate that even in non-pandemic times so I hope they keep it up.

They have a small fresh cut flower section and both organic and regular produce. My favorite part of Mariano's is the 'whole foods' side. They offer made to order sushi, made to order brick oven pizza, 10 hot soups, an extensive salad and olive bar. They meat counter has a vast selection of cuts and they will even cook your steaks to order for you while you shop. They also offer a deli bar with a an entree and two sides for $7 or $10. Just pick out what you want take it home a heat it up in the oven. The bakery is excellent. Best prices on custom cakes. Only place I will order my daughters birthday cakes from. You will not be disappointed with this grocery store.

For me, it's the convenience of the location as it is down the road from my gym, the high school, etc. The pump area is usually clean and working well and I do not fret too much about the security of my information at Costco: gas. I like having a garbage can so I can empty out my daughter's stuff while I fill up. The staff is attentive and I see them help others with the gas, receipts, etc. time and time again. Sometimes patrons drive crazily around the pumps, but that is not to any fault of the facility. I appreciate having affordable gas so close!

Our rental car came with a close to empty gas tank, so needed to find fill up. We found the nearest Costco warehouse, and was very pleasantly surprised at how there were no lines...we had our choice of pump. This location consists of 3 islands, with the first two having 3 pumps and the far right island having 2: meaning 16 nozzles can be dispensing at the same time. The POS process was exactly the same as in other locations: tap your Costco credit card which does double duty of validating your membership and authorizing your credit card. You choose your grade (only two choices of either 87 or 93 octane), pump. 3.66 a gallon. Didn't need to stop inside the warehouse store itself, so we were quickly on our way.
