As a comparison think of Flying J, Loves or T&A BUT with a ridiculous food and snack lineup (National and Buc-ees branded snacks)and the friendliest, fastest staff I have seen on the planet. The store is spotless,no dust anywhere Ive seen ,and youve got to walk the whole store to get how massive this place is, the bathrooms are super clean and smell as such and the snack aisles are a foodies dreamland. Food is the only reason I detour, who needs gas? I come here for a few things, first the jerky is shockingly good and tender for the cost: tons of flavors, I have tried about five flavors and I am still have more to try, Did I say tender? and easy to justify grabbing "one more half pound" I have worked my way through a few or the sandwiches and BBQ, and the brisket and pulled pork are both great along with the three meat sandwich is full meal, not convenience store grub. The toffee cashew and peanuts amazing,peach cobbler is great and just the right amount, the banana pudding, given an ok amount, tastes super artificial (easily the worst thing on the menu), and the Buc-ee's merchandise is way too cheesy for anyone over the age of 5 to wear. Easy NOPE to these two. THE STORE: Even when it is packed, the huge rows of pumps keep things moving and stress low. Approached the blonde haired female clerk, who was on her personal cell phone and was told I would have to "hold on" in order to get my receipt. We attempted to get coffee, but both regular and decaf were completely out. We could overhear the clerk arguing with someone about her welfare benefits. She then got mad when we tried to check out. When I explained that they were completely out of coffee and the pumps were out of receipt paper...she informed me I was being rude ( I guess being a customer rated below her welfare benefits argument). I informed her that customers should have priority over her personal phone call, we were informed " I have the right to refuse your service " my response was never mind we will go elsewhere. She was still arguing with the folks on the phone. If I could have " un-pumped" my gas I would have. We left and went to,a wonderfully nice Shell Station near I-40.

Mapco Express reminds me of "WaWa" or "Royal Farms" from up North.
