A small narrow store that maks efficient use of its size as they all do. Selling bags of chips, cigarettes, soda, newspapers, lighters, beer - slightly concerning milk and eggs in the back by the ATM and of course -- Lotto, America's indirect way of taxing the poor. One longish counter with some inexacting language of grunts and groans coming from behind it with no humor nor good cheer nor pink or yellow lighters. (I buy them just in case & no guys opt for those two colors that I always look for. They had only black, blue and red) Not wanting to dwell, I was next in line after the fellow playing a significant run of memorized lotto numbers, birthdays and such I'd guess. Over paying for my Evian water with a CVS a stones throw away didn't thrill me to death, tucked my WSJ under my arm and off I went.

Well, I had one of those card and I accumulated a lot of points, the reason I accumulated as many points is that I was lazy to check the perks amount for each item. One night I fueled up the black Dodge Charger, standard edition, mind you! I didn't need all the extras, I just needed to look good going down the road. It can run with the best of them and often enticed to a drag race on the highway! I obliged, I was morally obligated to represent. Anyway! I had a car load of people coming from Huntington NY, I filled up on Octane 91. On the way back to Queens, rolled down the window because I heard a unfamiliar sound. THAT BABY was purring like a Leopard. Ouie, I never heard that before, I was smiling going down the highway cruising! So next day I checked my points. Somebody, switch cards and the value was now zero. So I stopped buying gas from Speedway! There was only 2 people touching the card! Blank stare! I did have a situation today so I stopped to get antifreeze. I think Speedways antifreeze is the least in quality and it pours like water. Besides they monopolized their brand at this station. In other words, you have no option but to buy their brand. I was in Dire Straits. Inspire more, Yelp more!

There was a generous amount of chicken cutlet, but there wasn't as much lettuce and tomato. The bread was soft and perfectly warm. It didn't take more than 10 minutes of waiting to get our to-go sandwich. The deli was spacious and had plenty of drinks and packaged snacks.

We asked if we could Make our own 4 pack from single beers and we're told "yes of course." But no... when you reach the register you are not allowed to separate the cans from their original pack. They do have singles, but they are not refrigerated. Of course you can but singles of Bud or Corona and the like, but not the craft beers. Maybe I don't want a four pack for $25-30 of beer I've never had. The boss was a jerk and the 2 clerks behind the register had zero clue. Rang us up 4 times before getting it right and held up the whole line. They f'd over others on line before us too. Customer service dudes. We'll go elsewhere. Bummer cause they used to be cool.

Love this store!…read more Just love the kids who work here - always stocking, aware, fun and smiling. They keep the very busy coffee area clean and well stocked. The restroom is immaculate. This is a popular store with a gas station and a central location hence heavy traffic. It is well lit, bright, clean and well organized. I enjoy walking around this establishment. The microwaves are always clean. The hot water dispensers for the tea are clean and ready. Their espresso machine always works unlike some other stores with lazy employees and owners who put up an out of order sign for weeks. I just saw one of the employees sweeping in the parking lot. ( it's 5:05 am on a Saturday). Great store and experience.
