Since they had stacks on stacks of them, I take it back to swap it out for one that, ya know, actually lights. The kid behind the counter tried to make me feel like a complete dumba$$. He takes the lighter and after trying a few times gets it to work, and just looks at me like I'm asking him for a kidney or something. I explain that it may work once in a while but most the time it doesn't. He proceeds to show me how to "work" the lighter "correctly" as if it's rocket science then has the stones to try to get me to buy butane. This goes on for minutes while I'm late to work; finally I just say, "so you're not gonna let me exchange it for a working one then??" His response, "no, no it work!!" No, it don't work, buddy. They carry a great selection of local (Indiana) produced items such as craft beer, jams and jellies and locally roasted coffee. They have a meat counter with a good selection. They carry just about anything you need. I was in early on Saturday and the store was not crowded. Groceries are well organized and shelves neat. The check out clerk was friendly and eager to assist. Plenty of parking and easy in and out.

Access in and out is extra easy as they are located at the only traffic light on Hwy 31. If turning left to head north, use the light, otherwise if turning right for I-65 access, use the other entrance/exit and let the light hold up the traffic to allow you to pull out.

Today I had to wait more than 10 minutes in line and ended up driving around to the front of the store and walking back to the pharmacy. That person was still at the drive up. I complained and found out there were still waiting for a prescription to be filled and I was told if I didn't like it I should go to another pharmacy. I love how inviting they are and at one point I stopped to talk about work related things with one of the night shift workers. Great guy! They are very clean generally, a good selection of fresh produce, and everything else well stocked from meat to daily necessities. Sometimes, despite being through the store countless times, I have trouble finding something... but I can usually get around quickly, and if the WiFi connection is strong enough the website tells me the exact aisle. lol!
