The pot holes here are literally 8 inches deep. Be careful. They don't fix them and you can ruin your wheels.

This place promotes it as a Christian place, but they didn't act in that manner. The whole reason why I went there was because it seem unique, and friendly, the lady in the store keep trying to record me as if I was doing something wrong why we were waiting for the cops. I even offered to pay with a credit card, so I can dispute the amount with the bank, I advised the merchant that if someone doesn't like a product, they don't have to but it, regardless if someone brought it to the counter. I also told the merchant that I was buying coffee, for my mechanic, and he was cold, and he kept saying do you think I am stupid, he also had paint all over him, what I way to serve food, and he stated that I know there is a lot going on with Black people to the cops? This had nothing to do with race, what an experience, I get better treatment at a fast food place than, a faith based bakery The cop agreed that this was a civil matter, and then they tried to give me my money back, They point for me is to pay for what I want. What a waste of a cops time when there's so much violence in the street.

Bakery is reasonably priced / cheap, however some of the items are dry and not enough filling…read moreinside.

Stopped by this morning for a hot mocha made with almond milk and their breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with chicken sausage, and it was outstanding. The place was pretty packed even at midmorning on a weekday, which is always a good sign. The sandwich came hot right off the grill, fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot for breakfast. The English muffin had a nice toasted finish, the egg was cooked just right, and the chicken sausage gave it a great savory bite. The hot mocha was smooth, rich, and comforting, the perfect match for a cool morning. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and a cozy neighborhood coffee shop feel. Definitely an eggcellent way to start the day. Family Room Coffee & Bake Shop 545 S Otterbein Ave, Westerville, OH 43081 Located on the east edge of the Walmart shopping center, on Otterbein Avenue just north of Schrock Road.

I went with the White Choco Strawberry Iced Latte and Chicken Sausage and Egg English Muffin. Huge win offering chicken sausage. Lots of seating which reminded me of a large living room. The cups have a "Hello My Name Is" where they write your drink order. Very cute. My drink tasted great! The sandwich was okay since the English muffin was a bit hard. Def coming back to try more! Tip: It might be hard to find. It's on the backside of the Walmart so you will go all the way around and pass to get to Family Room.

Updating my last review…read more I'm part of the rewards program They have this one pastry that's under four dollars that has around 300 cal in it. It's called the very very pastry. It's a good value and it tastes really good. And as far as pastries go, I don't feel like it's excessively sweet or color. You don't feel guilty eating it. So when I got the bing on my phone showing they had a St. Patrick's Day special buy a drink at a pastry. I headed that way. The young lady that works there is always very kind She'll take good care of you She said I could pick out any pastry that you wanted from the case didn't matter really the price as long as it was in the sandwich or a piece of cake so without looking at the price, I ordered an Irish Creme. Latte I went to go pick up my pastry. I settled on a strawberry custard pastry Came back and when she told me my total of just under nine dollars, I nearly died because that meant my coffee was nine dollars. Again that's my fault. I didn't read the sign. I didn't look at the price. I just assumed that no coffee would be in nine dollars. Lol. Lesson learned read their signs.!!! Ha ha. She was very sweet. She offered to change it out, which I took two sips of it and took her up on it as I hated it bwhy? Personal preference. It was just too sweet (for me) and tasted like a mocha. I asked her to make me a regular latte with steam milk. I went over to the bar bar, added some cinnamon to the top of it. And honestly, it tasted great for coffee that comes from a machine where you just press the button. I went home and I ate my pastry, which was delicious I highly recommend any of the pastries that have that custard. Again it just is very light tasting and it's usually paired with fruit and the calories normally are under 400 cal for something like that. As a little occasional sweet treat, I guess I do like it they definitely have nailed the café vibe the black-and-white checkered floor they keep meticulously clean Their little chairs that they have our darling and again I already have stated that I love their patio I think it's a nice family that runs this Despite it being a chain, they are local family. They treat their customers really nicely I will keep occasionally coming back Thank you for changing out my coffee -That was very much appreciated

I love the Matcha that they use and they always have unique drinks for each season, especially currently they have a cardamom ginger Matcha latte which I am obsessed with and have been back for multiple times now! and what's nice is as long as you pay with a capital one or Discover card your drink is 50% off, which is such a good amount of savings when it adds up and you can take advantage of this discount every time you come in! Outside of that, they also have a deal running right now for a few hours on certain days of the week if you show your college/university ID you can get one drink free! And lastly, they have another deal on Wednesdays where your drink is only five dollars so lots of ways to take advantage of savings as well as being able to get some work done and the barista as well as the staff working are always incredibly nice and always make sure to say hello. Only thing I would change is if the secluded rooms were able to be reserved instead of first come first serve, and if someone was not to show up for some reason that they could open it up to be reserved by someone else or if someone was already there, they could use it and if they could only be reserved for a certain amount of hours because sometimes I would go in and they would all be taken and many people would stay there for several hours, and I wouldn't have the opportunity to take advantage of using them unless I came very early in the day.

It's gotten quite expensive as a small latte costs about $7 (compared to Starbucks that would have a large one for slightly less). I think it's cheaper with a Capitol One account but idk.
