It looks like this is a place where lots of locals stop by to get some BBQ on the go. While the prices of the items inside the store might be a little high, the food seemed to be reasonably priced. I didn't try the food myself, but it looked pretty good! The person behind the counter was very friendly and I appreciated the kind service. I also liked that they had a little toy section for kids. I was able to grab a little something for my kiddo before our road trip back home. A good quick stop to fuel up, grab a snack or a drink on the go!

There is a…read morenice man in his 20's that seems to be very polite, but for the most part I get bad attitudes, rudeness and just overall lack of interest in even working and earning money. Everything in there is is over priced. A rockstar at 7-11 is about $1.50, it's $0.98 at food-4Less depending on the week, but never more than $1.80. And Fast trip sells them for $3. More than any other store in town. Also everyone in town, everyone in the state charges $0.10 for a bag, but fast trip charges you $0.25 per bag. Maybe I could understand the price gouging if the place was really nice inside.. or if the staff was really friendly and well mannered. But this is a trifecta of bad.

Why a five-star rating for this Arco Am/Pm? Because they carry Suzy-Q's!! Bam!…read moreListen, do you have any IDEA how hard it is to find Suzy-Q's nowadays?? Trust me, I've tried, and EVERY time I'm in a convenience store I'm always on the prowl for a Suzy, but rarely find one. Tonight we popped in for a couple of hot chocolates and, lo and behold, what did I see?? Oh, baby! I'm no fool, so I bought the whole box (too bad there were only three in there) to tide me over and enjoy over the next couple of weeks 'cause I know it'll be a long, dry season before I find them again. Speaking of hot chocolate, we'd given up on the hot cocoa at In 'n Out (which used to be great, but for the last eight times in a row(!!) tasted like barely-flavored hot water, yuck). The kids turned us onto the hot chocolate here at Am/Pm, which has a nice variety to choose from or to mix-and-match: basic hot chocolate with Hershey's syrup; hot chocolate with English toffee; and Mexican hot chocolate. (I like an 80/20 ratio of the basic and Mexican, and my hubby likes his just the reverse of that.) A nice option when you want a little something late at night but don't necessarily want to (or know you shouldn't) eat. But... of course tonight I'll just have to make an exception, 'cause I hear little Suzy calling my name now. Oh, yeah.... PS: Plus, the clerk (on 3/5/19, 9:30 pm) was super-nice and didn't bat an eyelash when this elegant, well-dressed couple bought a couple of hot chocolates and an entire box of cupcakes, like two 10-year-olds. I'm sure he's seen it all.
