Ran by bigots who ghost you in the hiring process if you disclose you are queer in anyway. Had a zoom interview with them and they were supposed to send me a test to take the next day, but never did and then proceeded to ignore all emails until I called them out for their bigotry in an email a week later. It took 15min after I sent that email to get a response, which I sent after business hours, so they obviously had been getting my emails asking when I was going to get the test. Brad lied in his email saying tests were going out next week and said quote "we truly do not care about your lifestyle choices" of course it's not a choice, but bigots can't help but use bigoted language. My hope is that other queer people see this review so they know not to give their money to to Bill and Brad, or any current or future queer orgs avoid doing business with them. I'm a photographer in Va Beach and photograph a lot of weddings. I have a custom made display that is back lit. There are 8 prints that are large. Roughly 36x48 each. So the whole display is very big. They emailed me a few days later letting me know the prints were ready. Great! I arrived at their store and picked up my prints which were wrapped up in white paper. I did not open the prints to check them on the spot. Which could be perceived as my fault. However, I had a bridal show that coming weekend and needed to get home to mount all of these prints in the frame. I was never really given an option to check the prints either to make sure they looked good in the store either. When I arrived home and began unpackaging the prints I instantly noticed they were blue. Not just a blue tint here and there but BLUE. Like someone put a 100% opaque blue filter over each print. They looked HORRIBLE. Horrible. I can't say horrible enough. I immediately called the lab and told them what happened. I was told I would get a call back with a solution- which I thought was weird given that this was CLEARLY a mistake by whoever took these off the printer. I've had people who are not in any kind of artistic background comment on the off color. It doesn't take a professional to tell they look bad. It's embarrassing. I received a call back saying that it was MY fault and that they would do me a favor and I could pay another $200 in materials to have them reprinted. I had already paid over $600 for these prints. And now I have to pay for Speedpro's mistakes. Yea, that's not how that works. After a lot of back and forth with Speedpro it was clear they were not willing to discuss reprinting at their cost. So I contacted my bank to get my money back. But since Speedpro would not allow me to return the prints to them I could not get a refund from my bank bc I technically still had the product. Plus I had no choice but to mount the ugly prints in the frames and use them. I was hoping Speedpro would do the honest thing and replace them but instead stood their ground and wanted $200 for new prints. I couldn't eat that cost myself. All the time it would take me to remove ALL the prints from the frames. Return them. Then go through the entire process again would have cost me WAY more money in the long run. So fast forward over a year later. I was able to make the prints work by purchasing EXTREMELY warm toned bulbs for the lights that back light the display to somewhat hide the blue tone. (it's a good thing I'm a photographer and understand light- otherwise I'd be stuck with blue prints). Whoever printed these at their office should have immediately stopped printing and contacted me when they saw how horrible they looked. But that person chose to print them all and try to pass it off. When Speedpro tried to blame me for the issue I printed the same file I sent to them on 4 other printers using different methods to get the same result. I changed color space. I changed the color modes. I changed the bit depth. I changed anything I could think of to make them match the ugly blue tone. I couldn't make them THAT blue without putting a blue filter over them in photoshop. They kept coming out perfect when I printed them on my own. How their technician thought they looked good- I have NO idea. I've hated this display ever since I had the new prints created. I'm looking to redo the display again.Their lack of customer service to someone who had given them SO much business in the past was sad. Not only did I personally use them but I also recommended them to a lot of other people. At this point in time I'm done with using Speedpro and urge anyone using them to GET A PROOF of the finished product as well as CHECK THE FINISHED product before you leave their store.
