if i could leave it at -0 stars, i would. this company is HORRIBLE for transportation. they STOLE $70 from me and my daughter and when i reached out for help, their excuse for it was "you did not follow policy guidelines, cancellations etc" this was really unfair. they close really early and i was unable to call by the time i was free. i filed a complaint with my bank to try and get the funds back and they refused and sent their policies, which prevented bank from processing dispute. horrible company! horrible! very rude, unsanitary and unsafe read more

If I could review with no stars I would. We had booked a shuttle about a week before our trip to take us from the airport to our hotel. We landed and had a message that the shuttle would be about an hour late, but check into the Speedi shuttle desk by baggage claim. There was nobody there so we tried the calling and nobody answered. As we are heading back to the airport as our trip is ending, we realize they never returned any of our phone calls or email, and never showed up. Thankfully we were able to get a Lyft driver 90 minutes after our shuttle was supposed to be there. We had to resort to disputing the charge with our bank as Speedi shuttle never called back or responded to our emails yet charged our credit card for the trip. We never received anything further after the text telling us they were running late. To say they provide bad customer service would be an insult as bad customer service implies they have some. This company had zero customer service!! Stay away! Edit: two weeks later and still no contact from them. We did get our money back as they didn't respond to the bank either and if after one month they don't dispute our claim, the case is closed in our favor. read more

Upon arriving at in Oahu airport after searching to find some one in the Red Floral shirt she said go all the way to the end of the airport and go right and you will see some one in the same shirt. There were several other people waiting. The driver had a box of Lei's he walked over and gave a family of 3 a LEI and took there picture. Did not explain why no one else got one even when a young girl asked. On the day of our departure Sunday morning 5/28/2023 we were told to be out there 3 hrs and 15 minutes before our flight. The van was 10 minutes late, the driver pulls up gets out of the van and yells Stoker Family and just stood there while the hotel personnel took our luggage and loaded them in the van. He did not even attempt to help. My husband is disabled and uses a walker. The driver never said a word to anyone in van the whole trip. Upon arriving at the airport he yells "What airlines"? There were several of us for the last stop at SW airlines he gets out starts unloading luggage one family got there luggage and started walking off the driver starts yelling THANK YOU at the family multiple multiple times and just stopped unloading our luggage. FINALLY After getting our luggage out my sister in law tipped him and we started to walk off the Driver started yelling THANK YOU again multiple multiple times to me and my husband even after some one from my party had tipped him. We paid $74 for a round trip transportation. Gratuity or tipping is completely optional this driver acted like he was VERY ENTITLED. This NOT professional or as it is said in Hawaii "Its NOT ALOHA"... I have notified SW Airlines of this horrible behavior and treatment since they recommend your company . Horrible experience, rude customer service people at the counter. Paid for private shuttle, they had no record of it, and seemed to care less they I paid extra for it. Even when I showed them the reservation on my phone, they just laughed. Waited 2 hours to get picked up. Numerous other people were having same issues and as the customer service rep was so rude, they were getting into arguments with her, and she was just laughing. The individual at the airport couldn't find our reservation, had an attitude about it, and was finally able to produce it upon showing my confirmation. Avoid at all costs at this time. I had a reservation for 8 people, from OGG airport in Maui to our resort hotel. The instructions were to check in at the desk by baggage claim carousel 4. There was no person there, but a placard with a phone number to call. And, the note indicated it could still be an hour. Well, no call would go through - Verizon system message about party not being available. It's a long day when having to get to the airport and fly many hours to Maui, so no answer or clue as to what was happening was not acceptable. We used their service from the airport and back last week while vacationing in Maui. They were on time picking us up from the airport (they actually had a shuttle arriving every 10 minutes and were very organized on what passengers were to go on each shuttle). When we were picked up from our hotel to go back to the airport they arrived early which was very appreciated. Both drivers took care of loading and unloading luggage and made sure we safely got in and out of the van. We'll definitely use again. read more

I have to say, it's not every time that you get a follow up when things go south but I will absolutely call out Danielle and the customer service staff at Speedi Shuttle. She clarified what had happened was due to the influx of people to the island and a change in the fleet due to covid. She also mentioned she would compensate some of the cost which was more than kind of her. Moving it back to a four star - I would just verify the details and confirm the details to make sure you have the right expectation. Eventually canceled but still have to "submit a ticket" for a refund so will see if we ever get our refund. Taxis are everywhere , no reason to use this horrible service. The drivers don't even call names, they just ask people going to the "south side or west side" to step aside... what??? We've had to walk around and ask workers what's going on several times with no help. Each time they said, "another shuttle should be here soon and you're at the top of the list...." We waited for an hour and fifteen minutes after getting our luggage and checking in for our shuttle reservation. Standing around the airport that long is not the best way to start a vacation. I was really wishing that I had just decided to pay the few extra bucks for the taxi. Unfortunately, the shuttle company requires you to prepay for reservations and there are no refunds. What earned them an extra star is the fact that the staff handled all the upset people waiting very well. They were friendly and did the best they could in the situation. I even heard them tell people who did not have a reservation that they should take a taxi or use their competitor. Very honest; a lot of companies would have kept taking customers, trying to get more money even though they were so backed up. Once we finally got on the shuttle, the driver was great. Very friendly and informative, like a tour guide. On the way back to the airport at the end of our stay they were only about 15 minutes late from our pick up time. However, since we had to pick up a lot of other passengers from other resorts the whole trip took a lot longer than we expected. We used this service to and from Maui airport to Kaanapali. Our driver Chris picked up and provided us good info about restaurants, how things are going on the island with the current COVID guidelines, etc. He was friendly, good driver, and the shuttle was comfortable. Only issue was a message left on phone while we were flying there regarding our reservation but it was all handled well after we landed and checked in. Driver to airport was friendly and on time for pick up. He didn't drop off by curb so we had to carry luggage around the dirt to the concrete curb, but that wasn't too big a deal. We had a party of 9 and were able to have our own shuttle both ways. Overall great service and would use them again. read more

You guys rock! I booked them just before my flight the next day and they totally came through for me. Since I was on West Maui, my shuttle fee (shared) came to $64.45. Not bad considering cab fare was $90! Thanks for getting me to the airport in time (flight was at 8 am) so I got picked up at 5:25 am. At first, I was a bit panic b/c the shuttle was late (by 10 mins) so I called their office and it was closed. OPPS. Then when i was about to have a melt down, I saw the shuttle and all was well again. Friendly driver (forgot his name but he was nice and apologetic for being late) and we talked for a bit before picking up two other groups. I got to the airport at 6:30 am and all was well. Wow ...tried to book on line kept getting pop message to call the office . I called and was put on hold over 15 minutes. They answered and told me to book on line. I said it was down . They then said hold please and I waited another 10 minutes listening to their music on hold and reading their crappy reviews on line . I hung up and called Aloha Share Express and got 5 star service. Speedi has contracts with the hotels and must grease everyone because they are not getting referrals or repeat business. Our experience with this service was definitely less than ideal and nothing like what I expected. We found the kiosk in baggage claim after looking around frantically for a person wearing red and green aloha attire, as stated in the email I was sent. We didn't know to look for a kiosk, so we thought our person was going to be next to all of the individuals with signs for their passengers. We were then told by the clearly overwhelmed young girl at the kiosk that, due to an accident in Lahaina earlier that day, she was having issues with her fleet and it might be a few minutes. We checked in with her the first time at 8:30pm, 15 minutes earlier than our scheduled pickup at 8:45pm, but we were not provided with a shuttle until 10:00pm. When our driver arrived, he was also a clearly overwhelmed young person, and he RACED to drop us off at our destinations. Very unsafe. I also have no idea how this service would have provided any of the cutesy flower leis it offers for an extra fee. The driver asked us frantically where we were even going as he loaded our bags . . . I will say both employees were friendly and clearly just having an awful and stressful night, but the whole ordeal was carried out without much professionalism. I wish we would have just called a last minute cab, as this shuttle was supposed to provide us some peace of mind last night and I think a cab would have been LESS stressful. read more

I take this shuttle quite often as I travel interisland frequently between Maui and O'ahu. One time on Maui they were running late to pick us up at our home and my husband cancelled them and we drove and left our car at the airport. Yesterday on O'ahu the shuttle was HALF AN HOUR late! I called the 1-800 # about 4 times, once was transferred to a line where no one answered. Twice reached a service rep. named Victoria who SAID she got ahold of the driver but when he showed up he said he only had 5 minutes notice to come get me? I called HALF AN HOUR ahead of my pick up to inform them there was road work being done by my home and they should leave sooner/accordingly....the fourth call the rep. said sorry, driver wasn't picking up. Unfortunately have to deal with their shortcomings as they are the lowest priced airport ride I can find.... read more

We took Speedi Shuttle from Kahului Airport to the Sheraton Maui in Kaanapali one day, and then back from the resort to the airport the next day. Pluses: ----------- + The online order form was easy and painless to fill out and it was very clear about how much everything would cost. + The dispatcher called my cell phone 24 hours in advance to confirm the exact pickup time and place at the resort for the return trip, and the shuttle showed up 3 minutes early for the return trip. + The return driver was very friendly and full of aloha, and he told you when he picked you up how many more stops there were and where and what your ETA at the airport was (and he met it ... got us there about 5 minutes earlier, as a matter of fact) + The outbound driver drove fast and floored it every time there was a chance of missing a yellow light. Minuses: ------------ - When we arrived at Kahului Airport, the two young ladies assigned to meeting and rounding up everyone were very efficient at doing that, but once they found us, they made us and 6 or 7 other passengers wait about 35 min. for one more straggler so they could could send the van out completely full. In all, we were at Kahului Airport for 45 minutes before the van finally left. That's not good service at all. For what they're charging each passenger, I think they could afford to send the van out with one empty seat. read more

We had had such a great experience with the company that picked us up in Oahu and were expecting the same in Maui but we're very disappointed in our airport pickup and our transportation back from our hotel to the airport. Total silence both ways from our drivers and then dropped all 11 of us including 3 children curbside where we had to struggle to get them and our luggage across safely. We reserved a Limo from the airport in Maui to the Hotel in Grand Wilea (about 40min drive) and the service at Arthurs was outstanding. The conceirge (not the driver) was waiting right outside our gate with a sign and our name and he welcomed us and walked us to the luggage pickup, he loaded all our bags on a cart and he then walked us out to where the Limo was parked waiting. The driver met us there and they loaded all the luggage while me and the family piled in to the Limo. The service was excellent, the drivers was nice. I will definitely use them again when in the islands. We also used their Shared Shuttle service on the way from the Hotel back to the airport when we left and the service was just as good. Excellent, friendly driver. Clean new vehicles. read more

When I called I spoke to the nicest lady who took our reservation, I would give her 5 stars if I could. But the service of the driver was awful! About ten minutes into the ride she told everyone that masks were not mandatory. And she didn't wear one herself the whole time. So here we were one of 14 passengers stuffed into a small shuttle (that we waited an hour for to arrive to the airport) and passengers took off their masks because she said it wasn't mandatory. They were all wearing them until she said they didn't need to. Thing is - it is mandatory and is a major safety issue! The governor's ordinance says masks are required in indoor spaces - so does the county of Maui's website - and the driver endangered our entire group. This was thoughtless and irresponsible. TERRIBLE BUSINESS- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My husband and I were waiting in front of the office at our condo to be picked up from Speedi Shuttle. We waited over an hour for them to pick us up and they never showed up. I called Speedi Shuttle and was on hold for over an hour when a agent picked up and said she couldn't help me and then she disconnected the call. We then called a taxi who took us to the airport. Then I received a call from Speedi Shuttle 2 hours later who told me that the driver was waiting for us at the office for 5 minutes and the driver left because we were not there! That was a LIE. There is only ONE WAY IN to the parking lot and we have been waiting there 15 minutes before our scheduled pick up time. This is a terrible company and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shuttle!!!!! I'd have given them a zero if I could. We booked a reservation with them to pick us up Lihue Airport to take us to our resort. No one was there to pick us up. After 10 minutes of trying to get through to the office, they said they were running late and would be there in another 20 minutes. Fine, I can deal with that. No one comes. We try calling again, can't get in touch with anyone. When we finally do, they tell us it will be another 40 minutes. We ended up taking two cabs. I feel compelled to write this review for the safety of others. Our driver was at the airport when we arrived, as scheduled. He did not introduce himself or greet us. He did not talk at all during the ride to our hotel. He did, however, tail gate the entire ride and at one point consider passing on the double yellow line. Mind you, it was 9:30 pm and totally dark outside. We cancelled our return trip to the airport using this service. I gave two stars because we did arrive to our hotel but I would not recommend this service to others. We didn't use the shuttle service, but we got harassed by a driver. We were parked in a waiting lot, which was almost empty, and the driver of this shuttle decided he didn't like the way we parked, so he parked behind us to block us in so we couldn't get out. Then he got out of the van, told us we were parked incorrectly, and sat down and ate his lunch, while looking right at us and smiling.
