If you're considering driving or hiring a driver for ROAD TO HANA. First, don't drive it! Not worth it, just trust me! Hire this company for a tour or in general! The owner, Joe, is a genuinely nice guy and booked me with a driver, Kevin in an Escalade ESV (big one). Let me just say, ask for Kevin! He is also an Amazing guy. He is genuine, very informative of the whole island!!!, and was a true pleasure to spend 12 hours with! We originally asked for a full Road to Hana tour, not realizing you'll basically sit in a car for 4-6 hours and then spend at least 4 hours to drive back. So, we followed Kevin's suggestion to do the first 10-12 miles of the total 40 miles, seeing many parts of nature to get our Hana fix before heading to local towns, beaches, and enjoy other incredible views from a top of a volcano. We even had lunch at a very local small restaurant that had a big menu with incredible food! And again, everyone was very nice and welcoming. Finally, I did shop around a little, and they do have competitive pricing! They are fair. Highly recommended for any of your driving needs! Don't forget to ask for Kevin! read more

Owner ripped us off. He canceled my pre-paid transportation back from the hotel to the airport. He also refused to refund me. I've had to dispute charges with my credit card company. It's one thing to cancel, which I understand considering the situation, but not to refund for services not provided is just wrong. Horrible person. Stay away from this company! I have attached screen shots from my text messages with him. UPDATE AFTER HIS COMMENTS; I did not leave earlier then the scheduled day. Get your lies right bud. Also, you wouldn't refund me $385.00, not $200.00. Pretty pathetic you would use a crisis to rip people off. Next time be careful what you message customers. We had booked an airport pickup in Maui months in advance to our trip. But the airline had different plans for us. We flew in from Kona to Maui and I couldn't be more pleased with this company. Made the reservation about a year and a half ago, then changed it twice and finally were able to complete the first leg. Before we even left Kona I received a text with Colin, our drivers phone number. When we landed we text him back and met him outside of baggage claim. We had a large amount of luggage and Colin quickly helped us with that while we sat in the SUV. The conversation from the airport to Wailea with Colin was fantastic, we made one stop at Safeway for water etc. Colin loaded it into the vehicle for us. When we got to our destination he helped the hotel staff unload everything to a cart to take to our room. Overall this was a fantastic experience.
