Speeders is the BEST! I went here with my whole family and we had such a great time. I still can't believe how fast the carts go! And each ride is surprisingly long too. Really great value for your money. The facility was clean, the employees were friendly, and I really liked how well the rules were communicated to us. If you're thinking about having a corporate event or date night here, I would highly recommend it!!

Get my go kart running, head out on the race track, looking for adventure or whatever comes my way! When the weather outside is crap and you're thinking, "Man, I just wish there was an indoor go kart place in Calgary!" remember that there is. It's called Speeders and it's up on Aero Drive. Oh, and it's fun! Some things to be aware of: 1) You must buy a year's membership. It's just under $20. 2) If it's your birthday month, you get one free race. 3) If you've never been there before, sign up on the computers to the left first, then go stand in line on the right. 4) If you have a group bigger than 10 people, they can't guarantee you'll all get to race at the same time, but they'll try their best if it's not overly busy. 5) Don't come drunk. They won't let you drive. 6) One race lasts 14 laps. Be douchey and expected to get kicked off the course with no refund. 7) Bring ID. You need it. 8) Head socks. Yep. You wear them inside the helmets provided. Although they look at feel weird... it's comforting there aren't 4000 unsocked heads that have entered the helmet you're about to put on your head! 9) You can only sign up for one race at a time. If it's busy, it can be a long wait between races. There is AC/DC pinball to help keep you occupied. 10) The track doesn't look all that big when you first walk in, but it's similar in size to other go kart tracks in down! 11) You get a print out at the end that tells you what your fastest lap was and what your standing was with the other 11 cars on the track with you. 12) The karts are all controlled... so, if they need y'all to slow down, you slow down. Seriously, like all at once you just can't go any faster no matter how hard you push the gas. Ready? Let's roll!

Poor customer service. Staff don't even know the procedures. Unable to speak with a manager.

    Review Highlights - Speeders

It's not the nostalgic go-kart bumping kind of race (which i'm totally okay with) its a best lap race.

We chose 3 rides for $33 per person via Calgary Attractions Pass 2026 through Tourism Calgary website. However, each rider will need their own email address. Lift will transport the riders with one employee guiding at the beginning and another at the top. If it's your first time, another two to three employees pending on how busy the lines are will instruct riders to practice start and stop with handle bars. Green and red painted labels on each kart. Start, stop and go at your own pace. We would definitely return. Adrenaline rush + acclimating to kart operations + descending = repeat.

This establishment is a great case study in reusing existing infrastructure from a prior project…read more It is truly a hidden gem!!! Situated at the previous venue for the Winter Olympics, part of the ski hills have been refurbished into a Downhill Karting circuit. Pro Tip 1: Look thru their website in advance to purchase online packages (many of the family tickets comes with a free digital photo, which you normally have to pay for separately) Pro Tip 2: Do not toss your safety helmet yet when you're done!!! There's a scan code on your helmet that is used to retrieve the photos of you speeding down the track taken by the on track mounted cameras. The whole circuit sequence was perfect: From fitting your safety helmet, to riding the conveyor to the top of the hill, getting your cart checked out, to returning your cart at the bottom of the hill, and then going again (there's no way you're going to go just once and not feel the yearning to want to go again!) Everything was very well choreographed. Looking forward to coming here again, it was loads of fun!
