My A/C had been acting up so I took it in to have it looked at. After watching the single mechanic walk back and forth between my car and another car, he claimed the air compressor needed to be replaced for $1,200. I took it somewhere else for a second opinion. Turns out the issue with my A/C could be traced back to the last time I got an oil change at Speedee. They replaced the air cabin filter with a completely incorrect filter. The put the wrong filter in, the wrong direction, and forced it up against the door for the air intake. So not only did they cause my A/C issues, they then couldn't be bothered to take the time to actually diagnose my vehicle and find their own mistake. Instead, I get a quote for unnecessary service. I will not be returning for any services. read more

Went here in January to get an oil change and my brake pads replaced because the car was screeching. Got a call that my brake pads were in great condition and did not need to be replaced, fast forward to today when I went to another auto shop and my brake pads and routers need to be replaced which they said should have been detectable when I brought the car in January. Now I'm out way more money because the routers are also damaged when it would have just been the brake pads. They were very busy the day I brought my car in so I believe the job was only half done (they negligently did not check the rear brakes). I do not recommend this place at all and am dissatisfied, disappointed and out of money while trying to get through school. Do not come here, there are many other places in the area that give better service. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Unfortunately I fell for their scam, I am posting this so others won't. I was quoted $485 for service on my radiator and made an appointment to get the work done and was told that they would order the parts. My wife went to drop the car off and the manager had no idea as to why she was there or what was supposed to be done to the car. I know, big red flag should have left right then and there. After an explanation she assured me that the work could be done and it should only take a few hours. It was getting close to closing time so I called and the only thing I was told was that for some reason they had to drain the A/C unit and no one there was certified to work on them so the mechanic was going to call his friend who was so he could finish. He assured me that it would be done the next day and just come after they opened, he also told me that he was going to make sure everything was fine with the manager. When I got there the next day I was told that it wasn't done and it was going to take several hours to finish and they would call me when it's done. I finally get the call and when I get there they hand me a bill for a thousand dollars, I was pissed, I told them I was quoted $485 and was never told anything about extra charges, he showed me everything he claimed had to be done, but I was never told any of this ahead of time. For this he was kind enough to offer me a $150 dollar discount and would not produce my keys until I paid his extortion money. This all took place after the guy who originally gave me the quote was convinontlly gone for the day and the manager was hiding in her office. This place socks big donkey d!@%s do not go here!! read more

i had an appointment to get an interlock installed. They told me it would take an hour, 3 days later They failed and still charged me. The manager Jed kuhler is a real piece of work. I assume because he was 3 days in and failing he had to cover his loss to hide from corporate. Parked my truck in a locked bay and refused to give me my keys. Even threatened to charge me shop time for all 3 days because he "didn't like my attitude" avoid this place at all costs. When I finally paid and got my truck the dash was still disassembled. Horrible business. read more

Honestly, unless you want an oil change, don't get your hopes up. Quite unprofessional and underwhelming customer service. 0/10 would not recommend read more

Their name says it all and is accurate! Quickest oil change I've ever had and quality service.

We took our company truck in for an oil change. All of the oil leaked out by the time we drove it back to our shop. We returned the next day, they worked on it again and it continued to leak. We were charged over $900 for them to do the repair ........ read more

I've been coming here for the past two years for my services and it was great under past management but it seems like they no longer have a proper manager because I've never seen any business just watching TV in the lobby before and the kid named Stoney and Tristan were watching an inappropriate movie or TV show and there was no customers so I guess that's the new normal here very unprofessional and very uncomfortable as I was getting my service I heard the kid Stoney continously say racial slurs to two of the kids and as a man of color I nearly said stop and left I will never be coming back for services or anything else at this location and strongly recommend not coming to this location if you are a person of color I didn't have a Google or yelp account before this but it isn't posting my review on Google so I am posting it here because this needs to be shared read more

Pretty quick, great prices, everyone was nice and polite. The inside has mismatch furniture and seating but it was comfy and I wasn't there long. read more

Honest quotes and they back up their work. We have been bringing our cars here for years and have been pleased with the results. Doesn't matter the make, they can take care of it. Thanks Kim & crew! read more

We recently traveled through Lincoln, Nebraska on a road trip from San Francisco to Eastern Massachusetts. After we ate lunch I noticed that a check engine light had popped on when I restarted my car. I also noticed a whistling sound. A call to the local Volvo dealer helped us to resolve the whistle but they needed to take until the following Monday (I called on Tuesday at noon) before they could diagnose the engine issue. I found Metzger's online and spoke with Kim, the owner. He said he could look at the car right away. He ran through the diagnostic and determined that the check engine light was related to an accelerator pedal sensor but he felt we could make it to our destination. This he did for no cost. I was very grateful, especially since I was able to confirm with my old mechanic in California that what Kim recommended was spot on. Well, on the way back from his shop the right front axle broke. I called AAA and we took the car right back. Kim said he would look at it and let me know the next day. It was after 6PM when the car was towed back. By the time I received my messages the next morning, Kim had called and said the car was ready and charged us less than $400! Needless to say we were relieved. Well, we made it to Massachusetts, just like Kim said we would. We were thoroughly pleased with the attention to detail, the timeliness and the genuine interest in our well being exhibited by Kim and his staff. I would heartily recommend Metzger's Auto Shop to locals or anyone just passing through. If you want great service, excellent results, timely response and a caring attitude, Metzger's is the place to go. Thank you Kim and staff. You gave us tremendous peace of mind and helped keep the pocket book intact as well. Paul S. East Orleans, MA. read more

They seemed very knowledgeable about the repairs, I didn't have to do a step by step description of what was going on like I have in the past. Nice job and not very expensive. read more
