I actually went there about three years ago when I had a frozen right rear brake caliper and needed…read morequick service, so I went there, primarily because of the name, as I was new to Lincoln and didn't have a local mechanic. They carefully explained which parts I needed to replace when they easily could've convinced me to replace the whole brake set on both rear wheels. I was pleased with the speed, efficiency and honesty, so I had them do some additional work on the front end and changing the automatic transmission fluid. I was very pleased with the work and thought the price was reasonable. I'm writing this review now because they also recently helped me over the phone. I was having trouble with the left rear brake caliper and couldn't remember if they had changed the rotors on both sides when they worked on it previously. I called and they had the records to tell me exactly what they had done at the time. I mentioned that I was considering doing the work myself, and they were very understanding, agreeing that the price of labor for such work was considerable no matter where I would have the work done, and that they could certainly understand the rationale for trying to do the work myself. I also recently spoke to a neighbor who has gone to them for years, and had nothing but good things to say. I would highly recommend this business.

We were traveling from our home 45 minutes west to Springfield/Branson Missouri area. We stopped in Lincoln for food and noticed a weird sound from the car. We called my brother-in-law who is knowledgeable about cars, told him what was going on and sent him a video. He said "Oof! Get it to a shop!" He said the harmonic balancer needed replaced. I asked him if he had any recommendations on the area but he didn't. We looked up mechanics on the area online and Urgent Care Auto came up and the name was very fitting. We were very close so we headed over. Darrin saw my video and also said it was the harmonic balancer. He was willing to fix it right then given our situation of needing to be in Missouri by 10am the next morning (it was around lunchtime) BUT he could only get the part the next day do to part availability (because of COVID). He did tell us we were looking at about $350 to fix but it might be a little cheaper at our home mechanic. We couldn't even find a rental and didn't have a way for family to bring us our other car so we had no choice but to go back home. He was a little nervous about that but he said some people drive around with this problem and never have an issue (although they shouldn't). He said keep the RPMs down so we took it easy on the way back. We got home and dropped it off to our local mechanic, who also said the same things, and they had it fixed while we were gone. Total fix cost: $350.

Instead of looking at the code and trying to diagnose what would cause it, they started changing out spark plugs (not with the recommended OEM spark plugs either), They have now got his car to throw different codes, which tells me they did not take it for a drive to confirm they fixed the issue. With nearly $3,000 worth of hail damage, I was really concerned that my new pick up was never going to look new again. I shouldn't have been concerned. Dave Yard and his staff, in less time than the insurance company estimated had my pick up looking literally better than the day the dealership delivered it to me. I'm not sure what my expectations were, (I've been told I'm hard to please sometimes), but they certainly were exceeded. On our previous repair, our daughters Taurus was T-Boned while parked and how they were ever able to match up metallic silver perfectly on a car that is several years old still amazes me. You'd never know it was ever wrecked and that's probably the way it should be. Two different insurance companies with each repair and they worked great with our insurance companies and the rental car companies. They offer concierge service with Enterprise, so pick up and drop off of the rental can be done right there. I highly recommend them!
