Since the car was a Tesla, it was good to see they were currently finishing up a repair on another Tesla at the time. When we had left the shop to our final estimates... during the entire time we just felt like "why are we wasting our time", with the other places. After getting all the estimates and sleeping on it the next day the only person we contacted was Steve and asked a few follow up questions. He explained every single step of the process and the price was just right in the middle from others, what set him apart is the way he contacted me about it, he was very transparent and explained what they needed to do and why, and the turn around to have my vehicle ready, I couldn't believe it. Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!

Lousy service and businessman. I talked to him on a Monday, told him I'll bring my car in on Thursday for an estimate. Thursday came and I showed him my car. He said he'd have a quote/estimate for the body work I wanted on Thursday night. No quote came. I called him on Friday at the end of the day to confirm my email address I gave him and asked if he sent me the quote he was supposed to send. He said no but would get it to me ASAP. Now it's Monday at the end of the day. Still no quote. I called the office and no answer. A week later, still no email estimate, no return phone call, no apology, nothing from this business. No one answers the phone when I called. This knucklehead had the gall to continually lie. Maybe he's a racist and only caters to Armenian types? Not too long ago, down the street, in the news on TV, there was an Armenian gangster trying to extort a store owner. Anyway, about this poorly run body shop business, he showed no business courtesy or follow up on a quote he was supposed to have to me several days ago. I wished I could give him zero stars. My sister got my car rear ended and it was a Hit and Run accident. It was at a very unexpected time where we weren't even prepared. One of my friends recommended Speed Collision Center and it was the best decision I made taking my car there. Aram was very helpful in keeping me up to date during the whole process and worked with my insurance company. This is the 3rd vehicle I have taken to Aram. This shop does quality work and plays very close attention to detail. They painted my carbon fiber hood to match the color of my vehicle as well as fixed some minor damage to the right rear quarter panel and repainted the back bumper for aesthetics. Went through the whole day on Monday 5/9/22 THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY with no return call, so I call them to follow-up if I can make an appointment. The lady keeps pushing that she'll text me to schedule. I have not yet received a text or a phone call. Today is Friday 5/13/22. I have money to give, I just want to put my name down for an appointment. What gives? Supposedly this place has been in business for quite a long time. This customer service is horrific, no follow through. If you're busy, fine. I'd rather you tell me up front than waste my time waiting for a return phone call. Very substandard and unprofessional business practice.
