Our house wasn't in need of an immediate paint job, but wear and tear were starting to show after 10 years. Robert (our sales/operations contact) drove me to a couple houses that they worked on and I had a chance to speak with one of their customers. I haven't done a full exterior house paint job before so I made sure to get at least one other quote. Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Our neighbors complimented the work. The crew did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. Robert was a great with communication and follow through. I would (and will) recommend Buddy Paint to others. read more

I hired Buddy Paint to paint the exterior of my home, and I am happy that I did! The primary paint color (a darker shade of gray) and the accent paint color (a lighter shade of gray) makes my new white roof pop, and my house has a refreshing new appearance! My compliments to Bruce (the owner), Robert (the office / project manager), Alex (a crew member), and Fernando (a crew member) on an excellent job! read more

We did the 3 unit external paint job with Buddy Paint. They were very responsive to all questions that I had. I took eleven quotes around Redondo Beach area. And Buddy came 1st in the price even with much better quality paints than other painters. The job was very detailed and through. No surprising "additional fees" at the end of the job. I highly recommend this place. read more

These guys are awesome. I had them stain and seal brand new mahogany exterior doors. They were on time, patient to let the doors dry and checking on the color prior to sealing. The outcome was the finest set of doors I have ever had. I look to hire them again in the future. Did I mention, they even brough pastries on the second day? read more

We recently got our house painted by Buddy Paint and we are very happy and satisfied with the outcome. We first heard about Buddy Paint when our neighbors got their house painted. They gave us a free estimate. They were very reasonable and soon enough a date was set for when our house was to be painted. The first day they did a power wash of the house's exterior and surroundings to make sure everything was clean. They also helped move plants off to the side. During the second day, Markus, the owner, gave us a catalog of paint colors for us to choose from. There were so many great colors to chose from! Markus and his crew were very diligent in their work. The workers always came on time and would always clean up at the end of the day. They fixed any wood that was damaged from termites and they also treated areas with termite damage with termite spray. They also treated rusted areas. When it came to the painting part they sprayed, brushed and rolled two coats of finish. Once complete with the painting; Markus personally went around and inspected everything. Our house looks shiny, new and happy with it's new paint. We're very happy with the job that Buddy Paint did. read more

We hired buddy to give a clean refresh to our new - but old - home! The house had nothing but cream/yellow walls and was in need of a lot of patch work and love. They are great with attention to detail, solution oriented, extremely kind, and amazing to work with. They really helped our older home feel clean and fresh! They put in a lot of work, you can tell they care about the outcome just as much as you do. I have always heard nightmare stories in general about painters but Buddy Paint was overall a dream! I am now hiring then to do our exterior! recommending to all my friends. read more

Worked with Markus from Buddy Paint. He's great! He's responsive and friendly. Markus and his workers are detail oriented. They power washed the whole house and took several days to prep the wood and stucco for painting, which is exactly what I wanted. The work was clean and there was zero mess. Markus uses Benjamin Moore paint which was a huge plus for me. There were some areas that I needed fixed after taking down the Xmas lights and he came back to "fix" everything. He's the absolute best! Definitely go with Buddy Paint if you are super picky and want high quality painting done. read more

What a great job - I totally recommend! Markus and the team were so easy to work with. My home had quite a bit of wood damage both from termites and years of neglect, but Antonio, Kevin, and Ed fought through and restored everything to better-than new condition. It's so nice living in a "new" house from the 1960's! read more

Robert introduced himself at a time we were noticing some wear on our home, and couldn't have timed it more perfectly. He was very personable and by the end of our conversation, we hired Buddy paints to do our protects. Throughout the days, the crew was beyond professional, showed up on time, completely respectful and kind (to us and to our property), was neat and took their time making sure every spot was intricately detailed, and the finished product exceeded our expectations. George was the color expert, and recommended a color for our garage, trim, pergola, and all the minor details that I would have never thought to choose. He was so sure that we trusted his expertise and he absolutely nailed it. His choice came from years of experience, and he nailed it, so glad we trusted him and went for a bolder look over a conservative look as the end product is much more dramatic and as George put it "pops." Robert came by at the end to make sure we were happy with the end product, and reminded us that they back their work and are only a phone call away if we need them to come back or if we have any issues. **We HIGHLY recommend this business, we even recommended them to our family who are commercial contractors, so this referral didn't come lightly. Do not hesitate to trust them, you will not be disappointed. Full disclosure: I was offered nothing for this review, as many people are bribed for positive reviews. read more

Was very impressed with owner Bruce when he came out to give me an estimate at my home. He is as knowledgeable as anyone I've ever dealt with and know what needs to be done for a quality job. Recommended! read more

Hired Buddy Paint thru owner Bruce, Project Manager Markus for an exterior job with strict timelines that other paint contractors could not provide in a short time window to assess and complete a week-long job. Professional, responsive, and timely. Most important the quality was top notch. The owner of the property after the job gave them an 'A+' grade. He does not give anyone an 'A'. I recommend using this crew, I will! Michael Parham Business Development Manager & Realtor Mike Dunfee Group / MD Property Management read more

Robert's unprofessionalism and lack of follow-through are simply staggering, especially in light of the fact that this business seems to have only five-star reviews up until this point. Robert was forty minutes late to his appointment with me and, even after arriving, took another five minutes on what seemed to be a very heated phone call on the sidewalk in front of my house. Once inside, he talked at me for forty-five minutes straight about nothing having anything to do with the jobs we needed completed. Then before leaving he said we'd have an estimate in two days. When I didn't receive one, I contacted him, and he complained that he had ten such estimates he had to finish, and that he'd get mine to me after the weekend. The weekend came and went, and I never heard from him. Over a week later he left me a cryptic voicemail that he'd received a message I'd never actually sent, and that he'd get in touch with me. Again, he never did. However, I called him to say I didn't send a message, but STILL had not gotten an estimate from him. That was over two weeks ago now, and no one from Buddy Paint has made any effort to reach me or offer any sort of explanation for their deplorable service. Dealing with this company has been a complete and utter waste of my family's time. read more

We could have not wished for a better experience! Markus is reliable, honest, works at a good pace, works clean, and our house turned out gorgeous! He uses high end products, and he is extremely detailed which shows in his work. He sees every challenge, every imperfection and knows how to fix them and get your house ready for a gorgeous paint job. I highly recommend him!! I don't think I will ever hire anyone else to paint anything except Markus. If you want it done RIGHT, he is the perfect choice. read more

We had a few large openings in our walls and ceilings from water damage and a lot of rooms that needed a fresh coat of paint. We hired Buddy Paint to do the work after Robert walked the job with us and quoted us a low price and early start date. The patches are nearly invisible, and the walls and trim they painted look great! read more

Buddy Paint did such an awesome job on my house, garage, and huge portico! The stucco was falling off everywhere, and the old paint job was looking so drab. Markus and his crew, Efraim and Kevin, were professional, neat, and very friendly (and believe me, I've worked with crews at my home who met none of those descriptions). They cleaned up every day before they left, making sure I would be able to use my yard in the evenings and on the weekend. Because of the rain, they couldn't start on the date scheduled, but both Bruce and Markus kept me updated on their timetable for my house. They finished the project on time, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I love my home again. Thank you, Buddy Paint! read more

This rating is based as much on what we did not get as what we did get. We didn't get a long spiel about the "philosophy" behind their business (which one company wanted us to book off a whole hour for as part of their estimate). Nor did we get someone telling us our house was falling apart and would cost us much, much more than just a paint job in various repairs and replacements (as the philosophy-sharing company also did). What we did get: a no-nonsense, very competitively priced estimate and a fantastic job at every stage from start to finish. Both managers and painters were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. Plus the painters cleaned up really thoroughly, both during the job and at the end, and they worked fast without sacrificing quality. Buddy Paint went above and beyond what we could have expected. If they're in your service area, we highly recommend them. read more

Markus and his team were fantastic. They were professional, great communicators, gave a very good price, did everything on time when they said they would, finished when they said they would, did what they said they would with care, stuck to their quote and did a great job on top of it all! I'm having them come back and paint the interior now. Great group of people who did wonderful work! read more

Great customer service. Lots of color choices. Also performed repairs with the paint job. Fast, clean workmanship.

What a pleasure it was to work with Markus and Buddy paint. They did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our house. I couldn't be happier with their communication and diligent service. We had some significant stucco damage and partially rotted boards that they were able to repair. I felt the price was very fair, especially considering some of the exorbitant bids I received from other painters (and one of those was from a painter that turned out not to have a license -- which can open the homeowner up to extensive liability). Thank you again to Markus and his team! read more

Buddy Paint - Painters Near Me - Torrance, California

Buddy Paint was a great customer experience. Buddy Paint did a full exterior house painting. It was very easy to setup an appointment for an estimate and they were able to fit the job in within a tight schedule. I had just had my house fumigated and I wanted to schedule the painting soon after to seal up everything to prevent new termites from getting in. The staff was very professional, really clean and quiet. No loud music/talking so I was able to attend many meetings from home without any interruption. I was also impressed how the staff paid attention to touch up details at the end of the job. Any spots I was going to mention were already taken care of the next day before I had a chance to point them out. The staff were also very careful to leave a very clean working area with no trash left behind. Great service all around and highly recommended. read more

Markus, Bruce and their crew did such a great job painting the interior of my house, including difficult areas like the bannister. I had just had my floors refinished and they were very careful not to get any paint on the floor. They also were very fast and accommodating with my schedule, and their pricing was great. Highly recommend! read more

I got brave during quarantine and decided to paint the exterior of my house on my own. After being in the exhausting heat for days and only having completed 1/4 of the project, I decided to give Buddy a call just to get an estimate and see if I could afford professional help or keep going on my own. Although it was just an estimate, I had to leave a review on their exceptional customer service and friendliness. Bruce came and met me the same day at a time convenient for me and was able to quote me a ball park price right on the spot. He was knowledgeable and open about prices as well. Best experience with any contractor I have had the pleasure of speaking to so far since I bought my 63 year old house. read more

Just had Buddy Paint finish our exterior of our house! I'm beyond thrilled with the work that they did. Super prompted, flexible and reliable. During our estimate we were told the job would be done by Tuesday of a 4 day job, however it rained on Monday, so I was under the impression of a one day delay. But Nope! Markus and his guys made sure to finish the Job when promised. They were always on time, clean and efficient. They even went above and beyond to fix any exterior damages that were visible. Highly recommend Buddy Paint! Thanks for the amazing job! read more

Bruce and his team first gave me an excellent price for painting a fence and exterior woodwork. Then he and his crew were timely and conscientious in completing the work that we had discussed. Markus and Bruce were great from start to finish. Good communication, explaining and suggesting what should be done and what didn't really need to be done in order to save us some money. They gave us multiple quotes on different packages of areas to paint in our home. We even decided to add another section of the house to be painted last minute (on the day they started), Markus gave us a price on the spot and he went to get paint so his crew could finish the job. Turned out beautiful. Looks like a totally different house inside. Their quotes were also lower than other quotes we got. read more

Markus came to give me an estimate on painting inside and outside and I was so impressed with his attention to detail and focus on doing it right that I didn't have anyone else bid. Did an excellent job and he didn't complain when the repairs for termite damage were much more extensive than expected. As he showed during the estimate, he will only do excellent work with the best materials and won't compromise. His crew of two did most of the work and Markus would show up regularly to ensure that we were happy with the work. He made good suggestions when we had to make decisions about colors or finish textures. We had some add on projects that we negotiated additional pricing for. Since we didn't get any other estimates, I can't judge how competitive the pricing was, but I was satisfied. Definite 5 stars and highly recommend. read more

We are THRILLED with our experience with Buddy Paint. Markus and his team were detail oriented, professional, and took the utmost care in everything they did. From my initial meeting with Markus, until the time of job completion, my experience with Buddy Paint was incredible. I was getting my patio enclosed, so wanted the rough back wall being enclosed to be smoothed out and repainted to match the patio. When Markus came out to provide an estimate, he also did a free thorough inspection of the entire exterior of the house. He pointed out various parts of the wood eaves and fascia board that had been damaged overtime by water that I had not quite noticed. He is very thorough, informative, and detailed. He provided a prompt estimate for the work. I compared several other companies, and his price for the quality of work was very reasonable. He communicated well and his team came out on three separate occasions and completed the job. They always wore mask, cleaned up the area, and did an outstanding quality of work. Thank you Markus for everything. Highly recommended! Will definitely hire for future paint jobs read more

Looking for an excellent paint company, call Buddy Paint, Torrance, CA. Excellent customer service, excellent people skills, job will be finished in a timely manner. The workers were always on time, easy to work with and friendly. The best part is that you'll love their fair prices; they don't try to rip you off. Buddy Paint is the only company that gave me an estimate in the price range that I was looking for. My initial phone call was with Markus and I immediately felt at ease after getting over priced estimates from other paint companies. He was very friendly, but professional; he answered my questions and scheduled an appointment with Bruce for my estimate. When I met with Bruce he too was friendly and professional and again I felt at ease. I had a list of questions that Bruce had no problem answering and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. When it came time for my estimate I was very happy with it and it was half the price of previous estimates that I had been given. I tell you I feel that Buddy Paint was God sent. I was given a starting date that was much sooner than the other paint companies gave me and that worked well with my time frame. Whenever I called or texted Bruce he always got back with me and answered my questions. On the start day Markus showed up with the two workers and the job begin. Antonio and Kevin were the painters; they showed up on time everyday and were a pleasure to work with. They were both nice and professional and worked very hard. They finished the job much sooner than I expected and I was very happy. Upon completion Markus did an inspection. I highly recommend Buddy Paint company for your painting needs.
