We were passed around 4 times and was given a number to dial every time. When we got to the 4th person, she told us his services were discontinued 10 months ago bc he's no longer a minor. We were we'd have to walk in and do N k take apt. We served at 10 am. After waiting for 90 min, I asked the receptionist for an estimated time frame. She said it would be 4-5 hr wait and advised that we go back around 4. We decided to go back. We arrived at 4. Waited 30 min and did the forms and signed 13 signatures. We were told to go back to the waited ell Until his name was called. After waiting for almost 3 I asked if there was any hop. The receptionist didn't know and said she's message the physician. 20 min later no answer. 10 min after that, an nurse come out to tell us the physician left for the day and no one told her we'd be waiting. She had no idea we were even there I have had some bad experiences before, but this if by far the worst. There's clearly a commutation problem between the staff members. My counselor…read moreis absolutely wonderful, the nurses are all kind, knowledgeable and patient, and the front desk staff is friendly. I have been treated with far more respect here than I have been at other similar establishments. However, ever since my old doctor left, I have had some problems. The new doctor decided to switch up my medicine regime that had been approved by my old doctor and the state, and this is ill advised when it comes to this type of medicine. He does not seem to be as knowledgeable as a doctor dispensing these medications should be, and it takes a long time for him to sign off on paperwork. Other than that though if you find yourself needing help, I would certainly recommend coastal horizons.

My daughter was seeing her weekly for about a year and together they made such great progress. She provided a safe space for my daughter to feel comfortable and confident to talk about and address her struggles. She has since moved out of state so we no longer see her regularly, but she has stayed connected with us and will check in from time to time to provide guidance, advice, and recommendations when needed. She has been such a great resource, not only as a therapist for my daughter, but also to me, as a parent, and has coached me through some of the most difficult situations I've experienced as I was learning how to parent a young teen with mental health struggles. I couldn't be more thankful to her for all she has done and continues to do, which goes well above and beyond her duties. I highly recommend her and her skill set to anyone needing a mental health professional.
