We had food delivered from a restaurant downtown Chicago to our home in northern suburbs. Louie their delivery person was prompt in picking up the order. Cindy called to let us know that our food was on it's way and to note that a certain food item was not included. We knew of that, but talk about being detailed! When Louie arrived with our order, this gentleman could not have been any nicer! Big smile, happy with coming out that far from the city! We will be using them again in the near future. The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

FedEx delayed my remote job start by an entire week, costing me a full week of pay.My employer shipped a signature-required onboarding laptop on 7/16. Tracking showed it loaded for delivery on 7/22, 7/23, and 7/24. I stayed trapped at home from 6 AM to 8 PM for three days straight, but it was never delivered.When I opened an inquiry on 7/25, customer service was useless. They assigned a case manager, but the local warehouse completely ignored them and refused to provide updates. I was explicitly told that if I drove to the facility, no one would help or speak to me in person. On 7/29, tracking briefly claimed it was back on a truck, but yet again, nothing arrived.FedEx has zero internal communication, zero accountability, and zero respect for their customers' time and livelihoods. Do not trust them with professional or time-sensitive shipments. Save yourself the financial loss and headache--use UPS, USPS, or DHL instead.
