Wow, David you are a Prick! First time I was here at this location (several months ago) I let it pass, we all have bad days. But David made an impression then as well-a negative one. Just to be clear, my Spectrum service is solid and great. Techs that have come to my home have been pros. Because of the broad solid performance of Spectrum as a whole there are 2 stars, not just 1. And this rating is for This Spectrum location only. David-you are a negative to the team and this location. glad Mgr Sam got to witness the end of our exchange. Shheeesh! Avoid!!! read more

i wish there was a lower rating than 1. We have been nothing but disappointed with Spectrum internet. It's slow, unreliable, and overpriced for the service we receive. Getting in contact with them is a whole other problem. I will NEVER recommend spectrum to anyone. They dont care about the service they provide only the money out of our pockets. Disgusting. read more

They are so slow and there are always so many appointments and walk ins. 2 guys said they had appointments and had to wait over 30 minutes. They ended up leaving. The place is full of annoyed customers and too few staff. Not enough seating and many of the customers here are elderly and need to sit. read more

Spectrum - long lines, upset people, not enough seating, too few employees - Internet Service Providers Near Me - St Petersburg, Florida

Spectrum continues to impress me. They restored cable service after the 2 hurricanes quickly and today when our lawn service cut our cable within hours they had repaired it. Michael came out and fixed it quickly. In fact I was out of town and he found the problem. Also, I had landline service with Frontier and they refused to repair a line for my home. I called Spectrum and they offered a more affordable service and quickly installed it! read more

We had spectrum out for intermittent services close to 10 times we couldn't listen to a song or watch tv without a 2 minute loss. So we canceled spectrum services . Now they with auto pay charged us 65.00 because they don't prorate their charging us so they put us in the red for a poor services read more

The waiting space is real nice, comfy seating. Unfortunately it's necessary because the system and the team members are slow as molasses. Don't miss the little check-in tablet at the front or you'll be standing around for 15 minutes and getting nowhere. But no one else was done being helped by the 3 team members in that 15 minutes anyway (seemed to be more of a Spectrum system issue than the employees going slow). read more

Worst service I have ever... only forced to be with for 90 days, even though I bought my equipment or id left from go. 1. Service is horribly slow.. 2. Service is always down, with technical issues 3. Service on my equipment, states more often than not "no internet" 4. Sold my information. I have had this same number for over 10 years and I have had more spam calls than ever. One day I had over 75 calls. Serious! DON'T DO IT Only reason. I went lost my phone with Tmobile from OK. We had internet service. Milton ruined my house. Was on seasonal hold for 16 months. Asked for prices to get back up and running. Was going to be about $90 until the rate increase in February when it would be over $120. Way too expensive so wanted to cancel. Had to take account off of season hold, wait 2 days to call back to disconnect service. That phone call they kept offering me discounts until they got to $20 a month for internet. Wanted me to switch my cell phones to Spectrum. Wanted me to refer a friend. Kept repeating to agent on phone I just need to disconnect the internet service. Ridiculous waste of my time. Took over 30 minutes on the phone to actually get it disconnected. read more

I know there has been lots of bad reviews about spectrum we have their Internet and thinking of going to their phone service and honestly, I have not had any issues like all the ones that are on the reviews. I've countered some very helpful people on the phone, helping me out to troubleshoot the issues I've had That came out to install it was very helpful and nice. Yes the Wi-Fi does go in and out. Not sure why considering that they are using Verizon towers and supposedly they are the best in Florida. We have upgraded and streaming TV so we'll see how it goes. read more

Waited 2 hours for something that took one minute to do. I had to exchange my router and Modem. When I got to the store they told me that I could have had them ship it and then return everything to UPS. I already disconnected everything so I had to wait. Absolutely ridiculous. Zero sense of urgency in this place. Two people working on one person for 45 minutes. read more

ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!! Got there 10 minutes before they opened. Waited over an hour and a half. The manager walks around asking people what they are here for without helping at all! Short dark haired gentleman. He told me they can't have access to the admin system of the computers but he's the MANAGER!!! That makes zero sense! I ended up leaving after I found out you can drop equipment off at the UPS store. Why don't they have a sign that says that or tell people when they walk in. I have a Roku T.V. In my Hotel room and I called because it's not working. I've called 3 times and Noone at the office will help me.

I took my father to this location to drop off his Spectrum WiFi equipment after he discontinued service because he is moving. After waiting to be helped, the employee, Dylan, was very rude and we ended up going to a UPS Store to drop off the equipment instead. It's pretty sad that it was so much easier to drop it off at a third party location with no wait and friendly staff, then it was to deal directly with a Spectrum employee at a Spectrum store. read more

My service goes out 4/7 days of the week, always at inconvenient times. When I call and finally go through all their menus to speak to a real person. I get told there's nothing they can do but add me to their notifications when service is back call list and place me on the account credit back list so I can get credited back on my bill for all the time I'm paying for a service they're not providing me in some magical way those credits are never applied because "that outage didn't count" yeah okay I bet it didn't... frankly I'd rather just pay for the service and receive what I'm paying for though than get any credit read more

Don't know where to start... the phone purchase or the warranty or the customer service? Have been at this location 3 times in 2 days. A total of about a 30 minute drive each way for 6 times (3 round trips). Every person there has a special explanation on Spectrum math - check your bills! And when you don't buy the Spectrum math they give you a phone number. They charge you, then invent a bill then credit that invented bill, then cancel that invented bill and you still don't get a refund. They charged my credit card, no credit applied and then the payment does not appear on their system. So my payment is questioned. What cellphone company gives you service if you don't pay? They tell you something about credits coming in the next billing - I call ... Today, I had to go back because the phone service they supposedly installed did not work after spending nearly 3.5 hours at the store. I read someone complained 2 people were servicing a total of 15 people. I experienced the same. I left. In my calculations, it would be 2.5 hours before they reached me if every person only took 10 minutes. I was #15. You walk out with no answers and no satisfaction. I could go on. Not worth wasting more time! Save the apologies, Spectrum Do Better! read more

Absolute insanity that after two hurricanes and no Spectrum service that I was just called about my bill! Provide the service and I pay. Period. That's how commerce works. Unbelievable that you are calling the victims of two back to back hurricanes in which you provided NO service for payment. Seriously an infraction of human level engagement. Shame shame shame on you spectrum! read more

They have ten people waiting and only two service people here. i have been here a half hour so far. Similar service to last time I was here. I am seriously so tired of their inept service and they're lagging technological ability. I'm not from St Petersburg but moved here 7 years ago and all 7 years have been horrible and it's occurred to me why. There is no substitute. That's Portia's company cliche and they can say it because they truly know they are the best. But spectrum you in your Monopoly I've taken advantage of the people and you should go to hell for it. You provide substandard service and technology and you don't give an f and you know why? Because you're the only fucking provider. Welcome to Chinese comedy. You're a sellout and it disgraces me in every Floridian citizen who is subject to your rule. I seriously hope you rot. How do I do? How is that review? All I thought to do was to speak the truth. read more

Spectrum is a poor company. Their services are faulty. WiFi signal goes out at least twice a week and requires modem reboot. The streaming signal slows down repeatedly and you receive a spinning circle and program interruption. We previously had WOW service and in 3 years, never had an interruption or slowness. As far as their 1402 66th Street location, The 3 staff members serving 3 customer took 55 minutes and they've just called the first person from the queue of 27 customers waiting. The manager is walking around doing nothing. Maybe he could act like a "working" manager and take a few customers at their 3 empty customer service desks. I'm #9 in line, maybe I'll get out of here in 3 hours. Customer are walking out after waiting an hour. There are 14 costumers waiting, the balance have walked out. Think I'm switching to Fios when I get home. read more

Dishonest company. we have the slowest internet speeds and the highest prices in the US. Price gouging by greedy US corporations is the norm here. I've told spectrum for years I want only wifi, and they've been charging me for tv cable all along. Then a year ago I was promised a rate drop for 2 years, and after one yr the price went up $10.00. They always have some BS excuse for lying to customers, and like I told the customer service rep, I DO NOT CARE WHAT THE EXCUSE IS, Spectrum lied to me! read more

This is why Spectrum sucks. This went on all day yesterday and today on every station. Don't get sucked in by their new discount

The worker that helped me at this location was super helpful! Clean store. Easy in and out.

I've been scammed by many companies in my lifetime, but never as audaciously and for as much money as we have just been scammed with Spectrum. This company is criminal! Back in January, my wife noticed that we had two charges from Spectrum on our credit card, one for the usual amount we pay for the (awful) internet service we have with them, and another charge we didn't recognize for $148. We called Spectrum and they insisted that they didn't charge us the $148. This made no sense because the charge on our credit card statement said Spectrum and had their phone number on it, just like the legitimate charge. They refused to give me a credit and said to report it as fraud to my credit card, company, Chase. We did so, they reversed the charge, at least temporarily while they were supposed to investigate. We forgot about it until last Saturday, when I got a call from my brother. He said that he just got an email from Spectrum informing him that his credit card was declined. He clicked into it and saw that somehow my wife's credit card number was associated as his default auto bill pay card. He went back through his statements and saw that Spectrum had been charging this card since last April, for nearly a year, after he failed to update his default credit card after it expired. His bills, charged to my credit card, over an 11-month period, totaled $1,703.90! I'm surprised that neither he, nor my wife, who does our bills, noticed this problem but still wasn't too upset about it because I assumed Spectrum would correct the mistake once we alerted them to the problem. Oh, what a mistake on my part, assuming Spectrum would handle this problem! The first woman I spoke to immediately grasped the issue and seemed ready to refund me and move the charges onto my brother's account. But then she said she had to involve her supervisor and that's where everything went to hell. The supervisor conferenced my brother into the call and started interrogating him as though he was stealing from me. Never mind that we are both longtime Spectrum customers and he's the one who alerted me to the problem. He claimed our only recourse was to report the charges as fraudulent to Chase, my credit card company. This made no sense to me, because if anyone committed fraud, it was Spectrum. So did they want me to report their fraud? I asked supervisor #1 to transfer me to his supervisor. A much more understanding supervisor then got on the line with us and, after a 1 hour and 44-minute call, finally agreed that they would send me a check for the $1,703.90. We were all going to live happily ever after, right? Well...not so much. A few days later, we got a vague email that I thought was fraudulent because, a) it was written in broken English with numerous misspellings and grammatical errors, b) it gave us an incorrect case reference number, and c) it was from an @charter.com email address and I didn't know at the time Spectrum was owned by Charter Communications. The vague email just said that our ticket couldn't be completed, and we needed to contact our bank. It also gave a phone number, which was different from the phone number I have for Spectrum. I ignored it for a day or two but then when our check for $1,703 didn't materialize, I called Spectrum only to find out that someone in their accounting department overturned the decision of Debbie D., the supervisor who promised us a speedy refund. They once again reverted to their "you have to dispute the charges with your bank" response. So we disputed the charges with Chase, and they insisted on immediately canceling our credit cards, and they only will investigate charges within the last 118 days, so not the whole $1,703.90 I was overcharged. Who knows how long this investigation will take our what portion of my money I'll potentially get back but this has been an incredibly stressful and concerning incident to say the least. Yes, I could simply demand that my brother pay me the money. However, first of all I can't vouch for the accuracy of their bills over the last year, and we have no assurance whatsoever that they won't turn around and move those $1,703 worth of charges back onto his account after he pays me. What happens if he pays me $1,703, then Spectrum straightens out the billing error and insists he still owes that money to them? They are so disorganized/and/or crooked, I really can't rule this out. They still haven't explained to us how ON EARTH they associated our credit card with my brother's account. (No, we do not live in the same household.) Lessons learned. 1. He and my wife should have been scrutinizing their bills more closely obviously. 2. Never, never, never trust Spectrum with your credit card on auto bill pay! 3. Never trust anything that anyone says at Spectrum 4. Spectrum's internet service is abysmal anyway, so find another provider! I'm looking into T Mobile's internet service today! read more

Spectrum - Typical response - Internet Service Providers Near Me - St Petersburg, Florida

Absolutely the worst in connectivity! Spectrum is leading the cable industry in dropped packets and no signal for the price that you pay every month. Absolutely the worst internet service that money can buy. Spectrum cannot keep you connected to the Internet at constant intervals and their tech support is basically someone reading from a manual for untrained employees. They offer little or no help at all. Horrible service at inflated prices! read more
