Worst store staff in the region. Five weeks ago, I purchased a Galaxy S24 at this location. On Sunday 12/2/24, my phone locked up. I could not get it to work, the screen would not change, it was frozen. After two hours of trying, I went to the local store on Rt9, just north of Quaker Road. They were not busy, and I was assigned to Brandon. I handed him the phone with the frozen screen and said "It's stuck. Can you help me?" Brandon looked at me and said, more or less, there's nothing he can do. I asked if he knew how to reset it, to restart it, and he said no. [They sell these machines, it's a current model, I just bought it last month at this store.] He looked at me like I was crazy. I am just an average 70-year-old man, and I am a customer I asked why he would not know how to reset it, he said "We are not a service center." Nothing more. Simple, short, minimal answers. Note, that is not what I asked. I continued and said "But doesn't this have a warranty?" "NO. Not with Spectrum" He pointed out that I hadn't purchased the $5/mo extended service policy. He offered nothing more. He stayed silent, looking at the computer monitor, ignoring me. I asked "What can I do?" Looking annoyed, he said "There is a guy at the mall who fixes these, but I think he's closed today." Me: Wouldn't that affect the warranty? Again, "What warranty? You'd have to mail it to Samsung." Again, he looked at the monitor and ignored me. His lack of empathy, his refusal to even try to push the buttons to make it restart, and his admission that he knows nothing about the phone, really hurt. I felt like a fool, he could care less. I had a huge problem; it didn't matter one-bit to Brandon. Overnight, the battery drained and the phone reset itself. I came back the next day, Monday, when the manager was there. Brandon was also here. He, once again, with as little warmth as possible, defended his answers, and the manager just watched. As did 4 customers and 4 other staff members. I've been in customer service nearly daily since 1980, this was about the worst, ever. I said to him, in front of everyone, "If you worked for me, you would not have lasted." And I left. If you go, be very careful, get names, refuse any upsells. I think they are on 100% commission for sales and ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY DON'T CARE AT ALL. Do not expect any help if you have questions about the product after you buy it. They have nothing to gain by learning anything about the products. Apparently, they are taught, at least at this store, is to do the very least they can do, whenever possible, as another pigeon will walk in to replace the last one. read more

Went in to confirm our cancel of TV for our summer house, turned in the equipment - I thought everything was fine until I found later that Spectrum linked my TV cancel to an internet updgrade. When the 1GB upgrade was not confirmed by myself, they negated the TV cancellation. Frankly - don't believe a thing Spectrum tells you - get it in writing, every one of them is a sales clown without any concern about what happens after you leave the store. If you have other options, I strongly suggest placing higher preference on those other options. read more

I will be rating this spectrum a three out of five, because I was judged for my financial decisions. And two of the men working there were very judgmental. Saying, "that's a dumb decision", and "you're giving me a headache." More was said that was not very kind. A woman helped me after and she was lovely, she said, and quote, "It's your business, known of mine." And, "As long as this decision makes you happy that's all that matters. read more

Garbage company with crap internet. Better off getting the new Starlink from Musk, anything is better then this. Bad customer service, bad website, internet drops 20-25 times a day. Every single hour, the internet goes down for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. The reason they call themselves Spectrum, is because you get the full spectrum of bad service. read more

Staff was always helpful and kind to this "old" lady who didn't understand any of the phone workings. I bought my last phone in 2014 and when I began having some problems, went to this AT&T store today. The person who helped me was David and he was wonderful! He explained everything to me in clear words that I understood and then sat down with me to do all the "computer" work that I couldn't do. David explained everything in terms that made sense to me and quickly handled all the computer work. I was so surprised at how easy David could do this. When I had tried to call AT&T about my phone, I had to deal with AI, which I can't. I was concerned that my problem wouldn't be resolved, but David handled it quickly and accurately. I am so glad that David was the employee that quickly and efficiently handled this and explained it all to me as he was doing it. I'm sure this store is great at some things. But get your passport photos elsewhere!…read more In a fit of social consciousness, I decided to get my passport photos done at a local business. The woman who took them told it would take a couple of days--most places do passport photos instantly, but I was trying to be generous, and I had time so I decided this would be fine. They took the photos, and told me it would cost $25 for two. Passport photos are usually less than half this price, but the photos had already been taken, so it didn't seem like I had an opportunity to say I didn't want them anymore. I left the store feeling like an idiot, and wishing that I'd just gone to the post office. When I went to pick up the photos I got four passport photos, not two. When I asked if I'd been double charged (because $12.50 for two passport photos would almost have been a reasonable price), I was told that they always give complimentary photos in case the photos are cut wrong. If I'd known I'd be getting double, I'd have asked for one photo not two. And the photos weren't cut at all. There were 4 passport sized images on two 4x6 sheets of photo paper. I think it's fair to assume when you ask for passport photos, you'll actually get individual 2x2 pre-cut photographs. I told the manager that $25 was very high relative to prices elsewhere for passport photos, and she told me that I should check the prices of other "photo studios." Nothing that this woman did was any different than what an employee at a drug store or the post office would have done. It wasn't a glamour shot or a school portrait. There was no special lighting or fancy camera/tripod setup. It was a passport photo, taken with a digital camera, against a white wall, in a weird hallway behind the store's showroom. I know it's just $15 dollars, but it sucks to spend it on nothing.
