Their new location is small, but it is inviting and puts the focus on their products. The sales team is great - they are very friendly and happy to offer recommendations.

I'm sure this store is great at some things. But get your passport photos elsewhere!…read more In a fit of social consciousness, I decided to get my passport photos done at a local business. The woman who took them told it would take a couple of days--most places do passport photos instantly, but I was trying to be generous, and I had time so I decided this would be fine. They took the photos, and told me it would cost $25 for two. Passport photos are usually less than half this price, but the photos had already been taken, so it didn't seem like I had an opportunity to say I didn't want them anymore. I left the store feeling like an idiot, and wishing that I'd just gone to the post office. When I went to pick up the photos I got four passport photos, not two. When I asked if I'd been double charged (because $12.50 for two passport photos would almost have been a reasonable price), I was told that they always give complimentary photos in case the photos are cut wrong. If I'd known I'd be getting double, I'd have asked for one photo not two. And the photos weren't cut at all. There were 4 passport sized images on two 4x6 sheets of photo paper. I think it's fair to assume when you ask for passport photos, you'll actually get individual 2x2 pre-cut photographs. I told the manager that $25 was very high relative to prices elsewhere for passport photos, and she told me that I should check the prices of other "photo studios." Nothing that this woman did was any different than what an employee at a drug store or the post office would have done. It wasn't a glamour shot or a school portrait. There was no special lighting or fancy camera/tripod setup. It was a passport photo, taken with a digital camera, against a white wall, in a weird hallway behind the store's showroom. I know it's just $15 dollars, but it sucks to spend it on nothing.

This gut is a fraud. Took in a tape player 20 months ago. Charged $50 cash up front just to look at…read moreit. Every few months I would call and he would say "must be I couldn't get the part". I'd ask him if he could try again or let me know if he couldn't do anything and I'd pick up the tape player. He'd always take my name and ticket date and say "I'll take a look and get back to you". Of course he never "gets back to you". Finally went in-person today for the third time and he said he'd put it back together and give it back to me in a week if I wanted, "must be I couldn't get the part". Didn't sound encouraging that he even tried getting the part after charging me $50 to diagnose the tape deck. I would not trust this guy to repair anything. STAY AWAY! Don't waste your time and money with this guy.

After correcting him on which tv was mine, he proceeds to inform me the problem is two board in back of the tv and quite possible the screen itself, and to put the icing on it, that he can not even get the parts, but would be more than happy to dispose of the TV for free, to the point the red flags were immediately coming up. After I told him that I would come at a given time that was within his normal business hours, that he instead closes at a time earlier than what I said, and that I couldn't come get my tv then. I then let him know that I was on my way there immediately to pick the tv up, and he told me that I needed to give him some time, as he needed to reassemble the tv. Once I arrived, he attempted to return my tv without the stand that it was dropped off with. I had to point out my stand in his shop, and he then put the stand back on. After getting the tv home, I scheduled another tv repair organization to come out and assess the tv. While assessing the tv it was found that Whitney electrical had broken the back cover of the tv in multiple places and had actually installed screws in location where it was broken in attempt to hide what had happened. After getting into the tv, there were cables that were left unhooked, the tech was able to put everything back where it belonged and was able to determine what the problem was and that it was only one area that was bad, and that he could actually have the part within 2 days in order to fix my tv. Pretty sure Whitney electrical was just attempting to keep my broken tv in order to repair for a lower cost and then resell it, as in order to replace the tv, I would have to spend over $3K, and even the repair from a major company to fix it, was less than $500.
