Photo's were submitted to owner however, after three emails his response was: "The protocol for our company is to notify and document the office of any damages immediately. The movers reported no damages, especially damages so blatantly obvious. Both are tenure employees very aware of damage protocol. If you like we can set up a conference call between myself, you and the movers on the job. Not one item was broken or lost as a result of the packing process. The team was very friendly and efficient. The team arrived on time (after a reschedule due to a blizzard, beyond anyone's control!) and got right to work. We had stairs on both ends of the move and some very heavy furniture. They also dissassembled a murphy bed and did a great job with that. This company stands behind it's work and strives to be the best. We would not hesitate to recommend and to use again. Thank you! Fast forward to a couple days prior to the move, I texted and no response. Texted again the next day to try to get confirmation they were going to show up and again no response. Texted from a different phone number pretending to get a quote and what do you know, he texts back. Thank god they actually showed up, albeit 15 minutes late. I will say they were polite and put our stuff where we told them. However, they damaged TWO of our dressers (took an entire corner off both) and didn't reimburse for either of them. Didn't give a discount, just apologized and charged the full price. Each one of the dressers cost $300.

That turned out to be a huge mistake. The movers arrived and barely spoke to me or even made eye contact. When my furniture was delivered, I was shocked by the amount of damage. Several pieces of solid cherry furniture had dents, scratches, and gouges, and it appeared that little or nothing had been properly secured inside the truck. They also damaged walls and put dents in my expensive front door while moving furniture through the house. My floor safe worked perfectly before the move, but afterward I had to destroy it just to get it open. They never explained why they refused to move a large computer desk or my matching Queen Anne recliners. They also failed to reconnect my convertible bed, leaving wires hanging out everywhere. Over the years I spoke with and emailed multiple employees, completed forms, and submitted photos multiple times. Each time I was told to resubmit documentation, and then I would hear nothing back. To this day I have not been reimbursed for any of the damages, which would supposedly be based on weight. This is by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. I would strongly caution anyone considering using them.

3 minutes ago-Edit On 6/10/19, American Van Service moving…read morecompany picked up items from our previous home in Lake George, NY and delivered the items to storage located at Big Boom Road in Glens Falls, NY. As per our agreement, the contents were delivered to Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 on 6/17/19. Upon delivery of the items to our new home, it was clear that several items were damaged either in storage or in transit. It was brought to the attention of Seth Rukat immediately upon the time of delivery and he dismissed it. His response was "I don't know what happened". We certainly don't know what happened except the items were damaged. We were also concerned at the time since originally there were four moving trucks (three full trucks and one was filled only half way) that picked up the items in Lake George and there were only three trucks (two were full, one truck was filled only half way) that delivered the items to Saratoga Springs, NY. I'm not sure how fewer trucks were used to deliver same items. There are several boxes that have yet to be unpacked due to remodeling efforts being done the new home, therefore, more items could potentially be damaged. Also, when the delivery was made on 6/17/19, American Van Service moving company was supposed to bring a small sofa bed upstairs and that was not done. It currently sits in the first floor kitchen area. We are elderly and this is not an undertaking that we should have to do especially considering it was agreed upon that it would be delivered to a second floor room. In addition, the boxes were all labeled to where the final destination was to be (i.e. kitchen, basement, upstairs bedroom, first floor bedroom) and most of the boxes labeled "basement" were left in the garage. Again, it was agreed upon that these boxes would be delivered to the appropriate location labeled on the box. I did phone the moving company on 6/25/19 to try and resolve this matter, but Seth was not available to take my call so I left a message with the receptionist (no response to date). Since that date, several phone calls have been made. The receptionist refuses to give me the owners contact information. Next steps are to contact the Better Business Bureau and NYS/US DOT. The moving company clearly took advantage of an elderly couple.

The team i dealt with were beyond useless.

These guys were outstanding. Incredibly reasonable and transparent rates! They responded to my inquiry email promptly and answered all my questions. On moving day, the team showed up early and moved everything onto the truck in 45 minutes. They told me they were going to stop for coffee which I think is perfectly reasonable and I appreciated them letting me know. Even so, they were still at the second location before I was. I can't beleive how easily they moved things up stairs and through narrow doorways. Some movers won't take off doors or dissasemble mirrors, etc., but these guys did. The paperwork was also simple. BEWARE THIS COMPANY! They are the worst. They claim to be insured but yet refuse to take responsibility for items they damage. They caused me thousands of dollars worth of damage. If you see this company or John the owner run the other way and hire a real moving company. One that doesn't just hire anyone off the street. read more

After kitchen construction was coming to a close we returned in July and worked with Stacey who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was so helpful with everything from measurement to tile color and thickness to construction questions. My tile arrived in less than a week and I'm very happy with it. The location is a bit out of the way outside of Ballston Spa but the drive is worth it! You won't find such excellent customer care in other tile shops.

He was very accommodating at first, had great communication with me, and was flexible with my schedule. He and Lourdes came to my apartment (he was an hour late), cleaned while my husband and I ran some errands, came back after completion two hours later, did a quick walk-through, gave them cash, and went our separate ways. We didn't realize how filthy the apartment still was until our stickler of a landlord pointed out how the bathroom still had scum, the interior of the oven wasn't even touched, the windows and shutters were riddled with dust, and the carpet was still soiled. (Please refer to the attached pictures to see what services I requested.) The initial quote was for $200 as noted in the attached image and I ended up paying $500 with a $40 tip. I blame myself for being foolish enough to pay that much, but I was more so focused on the convenience as I'm a full-time RN and student that works overtime every week. At the time, I was thankful for Brian being exceptionally accommodating as previously mentioned. But, boy, was I mistaken. I had to hire an additional carpet cleaning service (spent over $200 for Service Tek, who did amazing) and my husband and I spent well over four hours cleaning the apartment in its entirety. Defeats the whole purpose of hiring this team, right? Now here comes the fun part. I initially asked for a refund in which he offered $200 back. He kept putting it off for various reasons and I'd follow up once weekly. I'm remarkably patient, but have had enough. Brian, at first, answered my calls and texts fairly quickly. Now, he's ignoring my texts. I'll spare the details, but if you're interested, screenshots have been uploaded. To top this off, I received a call from another employee from this company offering cleaning services. Are you kidding me!? No, thank you. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, BRIAN.

She is cheerful and efficient, gives great advice and suggestions,and I never regret any decisions I make with her help. In addition, she has a wide network of organizations I can donate unwanted items to. And she takes things away that day so I don't have piles of sorted stuff to get rid of on my own! She follows up after a session and helps me stay motivated. I could never do it without her help!
