I was referred to The Schwarz institute by my surgeon after major shoulder surgery…read more From the first day after I was greeted by Dr. William Schwarz I knew this was the right place. He explained how I would get better and how long it would take. He explained how hard it would be but he would make sure that I ended up with full range of motion. Between Bill Schwarz and Dr.Erika Doyle I received the most amazing care and cannot believe how well I have recovered . Every single staff member from the front desk to the staff that placed me on ice and heat was considerate and caring. They all even knew my name. Every person there knows their job and keeps up with every patient. This is a well run physical therapy institute with caring and extremely knowledgeable staff. I can honestly say I could not have recovered as well as I have without The Schwarz Institute and I am forever grateful. Sincerely.. Linda Danzig

Every chiropractor has their own touch and their own style. I have to say that Dr. Berg absolutely fantastic and one of my absolute favorites of all time. He's very good at honing in on the issues in your body and relieving them. I have bulged and mildly herniated discs in my cervical spine, and I am prone to severe headaches because of it. I look forward to Dr. Bergs adjustments because he's able to put me back the way I'm supposed to be lol. My headaches are much less often and less severe because of him. I like his adjustment so much that I travel from Queens to his office in Bethpage willingly. For me, he's absolutely worth it.

Very highly recommended! Mike, Kelly, and the entire team (in no particular order, Anthony, Rob,…read moreAmy, Sean, Julia, Ang, Taylor, and anyone's names I'm forgetting!) are all incredible. They work in sync like a band that's been playing together for years, lapping around and making sure all patients are engaged and progressing through the various treatments/exercises in their respective treatment plans. I came here in August with a ruptured Achilles that I had surgery to repair, and walked out (literally!) just a few months later, and far earlier than the surgeon had expected. That's a true testament to the time and attention everyone here gave to me, referring frequently to my chart and the well-taken notes, gradually adding weight and/or repetitions on, and mixing in new exercises when appropriate. I also really appreciated the overall vibe here. Good music is always playing (could be 90s grunge, pop country, or classic rock, depends on who takes over the playlist!) staff are all friendly with the patients and with each other, and there's a great mix of folks in here to chat with. The walls are decorated with staff photos, pics of their kids, etc. and little league team photos from the teams they sponsor! Short version: It's about as fun as physical therapy can be! I am so appreciative to everyone here, and although I hope I never need PT again, I'd return here without hesitation! Thank you!

She is amazingly sweet and the entire staff at the practice was very genuine and kind and worked with us and our insurance company to ensure we got the best care. I've had multiple spinal fusions over the years related from two separate car accidents. Each time treated a different part of my lower back. In 2022, I had a male therapist who worked with me closely and adjusted my exercises and weights as i progressed. Towards the end of my program, this was just post COVID where we still wore masks, I had difficulty breathing on two days back to back. The second day, they insisted that I go straight to the hospital and after spending 3 days in Winthrop, I had a stent for an 85% blockage in the widowmaker. They saved my life. Unfortunately, years later, after I was struck from behind while stopped at a traffic light, I had to have an additional lumbar spinal fusion as well as a laminectomy. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Christian in East Meadow stars. We started a month after surgery and I went for 3 months. He started working with me with stretches and light weights while progressing each visit. By the time my 12 weeks were up, I was much stronger, had better stability and the knowledge to continue at home. Stars was by far, the most involved PT facility with updated equipment, a clean facility and great hands on care. I hope I won't ever need physical therapy in the future but out of the 8 to 10 facilities I've gone too over a 14 year period, stars was by far the best. They will remain my number one choice and I highly recommend them at least for all spinal rehabilitation needs. Thank you Christian Pineda as well as the rest of the therapists there.
