As my mother was having some digestive, knee and extremity issues, I looked for a chiropractor close to her home for alternative and natural healing. Lucky for me, I found DeRiggi Family Chiropractic on Old Country Rd in Plainview. I felt the warmth, the genuine concern from Lauri as she answered the phone and took all the necessary information, called me right back after verifying her insurance coverage and accommodated Mom at the very last minute on a Friday for a new patient first visit which takes longer. Proactive as she asked me to fill out the new patient paperwork prior so as to save time. We got the same contagious warmth, welcome and love as we walked in the door to this immaculate office. We got to meet the wonderful Teresa who was also just so kind, patient and understanding. Meeting Doc DeRiggi was something special: he was sweet, oozing with love, very patient, all about helping the person in front of him, very easygoing and very,very sharp and thorough. He connected with Mom and explained everything in simple terms with her all around well being being paramount- not just immediate relief but long term. Loved it!! Based on Mom's age and specific health issues he adjusted her with a hand held activator vs doing a manual two hand adjustment. Mom left feeling great right after the first visit. She was inspired and motivated to start changing her diet and do her exercises. This is HUGE!! I can't thank Doc DeRiggi, Teresa and Lauri enough. I was treated like a guinea pig and it was horrible. A couple of months ago I was desperate for help so I was searching doctors on zocdoc and found Dr mayorson at Maywell health. When I walked into my first appointment I automatically felt welcomed the staff was so nice and then I met with Rebecca who is the PA and I told her my story and she listened and was so so compassionate and just kept apologizing that I had been suffering so long with no help. She was so so knowledgeable about what disease I have and she literally brought me to tears because for the first time in 7 years I felt heard and I felt some hope that maybe the pain could get better. I then met Dr mayorson and I can't say enough nice things about him. So caring and also so compassionate. Right away he got me in for a nerve block procedure and a ketamine infusion. He also put me on meds and he has been in contact with me whenever I have needed him. Rebecca also referred me to work with there social worker at Maywell health which I think is amazing they have a therapist that will work with you to help you through your pain and her name is Lisa. I kept saying I was going to call and make an appointment but I was busy with PT and medical massages and acupuncture, those all feel good but weren't doing the trick for me. I finally got the nerve up to call and make an appointment with Dr. Solomon and I haven't turned back. By the 4th treatment I was walking out without pain in my leg and now it is 12 weeks later and pain is not even a thought anymore, in my leg.
