They cater to professional painters (the best ones get their stuff here), but DIYers will find friendly, knowledgeable service as well. Let's face it--the local big box stores are convenient, but the person at the paint counter in those places probably works in multiple departments and just doesn't have the experience to give you great advice. If you want to get the most out of the time and money you invest into painting your home, take the extra ten minutes to visit Ferrell-Calhoun. Ask for Bobby, the manager, he's been mixing paint for 20 years and really knows his stuff. He's never let me down. Happy Painting!

We went to Peter's, the Design Center, because we wanted one company that we could rely on for ensuring all of these jobs were done well, on time, and at a reasonable price. John, at Peters the Design Center ensured us that he could give us that peace of mind. John came out to do all the house measurements in anticipation of several projects coming in the near future. We took John's top recommended painter and purchased all of our paint at Peter's the Design Center, so they profited on this recommendation. The gentlemen that their shop guaranteed ended up being an alcoholic that couldn't finish a single day. I paid $1500 in labor and $500 in paint to "almost" get my living room painted. He came close to finishing the living room, but we had to call the police to have him removed because he was drunk and belligerent after we let him go for being drunk on the job. Anyway, Peter's the Design Center Manager, David was regretful, but he didn't feel that his company was in any way to blame. I do. Also, they've done nothing to offer to make reparations and at this point, it's too late. You just lost out on our business and I hope you lose more. What makes this so bad is that David, the manager, admitted that they had jusy had another complaint about this guy, and still they recommended him. Shame on you Peters, the Design Center.

Guy named LJ jumped in and took me to what I needed and was explained the options. Super proactive and helpful. The guy running the self-checkout was really friendly as well. I don't expected a ton at close from a place because there's a lot to do, but that was great even for just a normal time. Appreciate y'all!

Then we parked curbside and waited. And waited. And waited. Never got the notice it was ready, so I went into the app to check the status and it said curbside pickup was until 6 PM. I wasn't told that when I ordered, but okay. Not the store's fault, I guess. So the next day I'm waiting on the notice that it's ready for pickup. And I'm waiting. And waiting. And waiting. I finally get a notice about midday that one item was out of stock and I'd get a refund. Okay, so back to waiting for the rest. I wait. And wait. And wait some more. And finally 24 hours after the initial order I give up and cancel. What happened to it being ready in two hours? And how does two hours become over 24?? I'm so furious. I would have just gotten them all in store if they hadn't been heavier items that we needed help loading into the car because I have a hernia and my husband had spinal fusion surgery and neither of us can lift much. I definitely would never recommend ordering pickup from this location and I'll just go to Lowe's from now on.
