    I went into the store with my information ready as i had already spoken to a representative on the…read moreAT&T website. When asked what i was there for i said i wanted to transfer my service from Verizon. When i said I'd be signing up under a first responder account that immediately made my rep uncomfortable because she was newer and didn't know how to do that. At which point she started complaining to the person with her she didn't want to do it, she'd like to pass it off and got denied. Once her assistance walked away she began to complain about her coworker and vacation time and how she should have called in that day and how she moved up here from FL. At one point just wholesale throwing her coworker under the bus and talking about quitting. At one point her coworker came back out and showed her a text she got from a guy she apparently is trying to date. A few monutes later her fiance came in and she was kissing him in front of us and completely distracted from helping us get setup at AT&T. Overall, it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant and honestly, all she had to do was plug my info in to open my account since i did all the work prior to coming in to specifically avoid this type of situation. They answered all questions without even having to ask them and they were very kind to me they even put Dora on the tv for my daughter to watch while setting up the account, very fast service, was in and out in like 30 minutes. Highly recommend coming to this store

    SOS TV & Home Services is a business you cannot trust. SeVonte McDonald is the name of the business…read moreowner. He does NOT have a business address. Apparently he's running his business from home, but still uses no address. Big red flag! The only thing he has is a phone number. His email address: sosmihome@gmail.com We called and set up an appointment for him to diagnose the problem. He did that. He only accepts cash he told us. He told us we had to pay for the part that he had to order, so he said we needed to pay up front. That was NOT a good idea, but we paid him a few hundred. He ordered the part, having them ship it to our address. It never got to our address and I don't think it was ever sent. We were told it was undeliverable because they needed a signature. Well, someone is always home. No one came to our door, rang the bell, nor knocked. Apparently, this "part" came to our address within a few days which we were told to expect it within 7-10 days. The parts supply person told him they would send the part to him WHEN they got it back. It's been since Dec. 2, 2025 since SeVonte was here, and it's already the end of the month and there is NO part and he will NOT answer his phone or texts from us. He took our money and apparently it looks like he stiffed us because he's not answering his phone and has NO reason to ignore us. Do NOT trust this company or SeVonte! He is a thief, a predator, and a criminal and should not be in business. We are disabled senior citizens and he knew this. He takes advantage of people like us. We wish we never trusted him.

    I had requested that TV services be terminated in June 2022. I returned all of the cable equipment…read more(receivers/DVR) related to the TV service. The company started a new billing cycle on 1-8-2023 and informed me of the charges on 12-12-2023. They included a $78 fee for cable TV services and a $21 charge for TV broadcast fees. I told them that all of the equipment was returned so there should be no TV related charges. They insisted that because they offer TV streaming over the Internet that the charges were legitimate and that they must be paid in full. I refuse to pay for services/rentals/fees that were not rendered and they would not take any action to resolve. Clearly this is criminal in nature. You cannot bill someone knowingly that a service was not rendered and use a hypothetical reason that one "could" use their services over the Internet while refusing to remove the charges. This type of activity is really fit for a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) lawsuit. I have filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General. The idea that they could force TV services without equipment to watch TV is absurd. The excuse that one "could" stream their content is absurd and they do not even care.

    Charter would not let me change the password to my own email account without having my husband's…read morepermission first because he's the 'account holder'! Seriously. It's 2015! In a similar situation years ago, my husband gave Charter 'authorization' to let me change the account without his permission. We found out today, that the exception to that policy is 'password changing'. Really? And do I follow one step behind him as well? Considering I have ALL of the account information including four digit pin, address, zip, social security, etc., it is NOT a matter of protecting our account for security purposes. That's an insult to even use that as an excuse. They weren't helpful nor were they the least bit interested in resolving our issue. Due to a regulated industry, they continue to get away with horrible customer service and horrible policies. Deregulate them like the phone companies and things will change real fast. Calling Dish and Direct TV next!
