I highly recommend! They have Fan Favorites $2 options for snacks and drink options! Which is excellent for families to have something affordable while enjoying a game! New decor is very nice and I love the Bell Photo Selfie! Please go and I hope you enjoy. Check out the pavilion while you're there!

My friend and I recently visited the Spectrum Center for a Hornets game. The arena is located right in the heart of Uptown (what Charlotte calls their downtown area). The stadium is well lit and clean from the outside. Once inside, the arena is large and open. There are ample food and drink counters so people don't have to wait in long lines. The bathrooms are also large and clean to avoid lines. Our seats were in the middle section (200s) but we were able to see the court without issue. Overall, this is a great arena! I'd def visit again.

I liked this venue. The metro and bus stations are close by. The staff walking around explaining the new bag policy were friendly. We attended the Kpop group, Twice's show. The merch counter moved very quickly. Of course, the merch was pretty pricey. I believe the venue is cashless and there were some really good food options. I saw Freddy's and Chick-Fi-La. There were a lot of beverage vendors. The show started a little late, but it wasn't too bad. The sound was good and the seats were comfortable. We were on the upper level and I don't think there was a bad view on the whole arena. I enjoyed the concert.

Attended multiple concerts and shows here and as always it can get hectic! From parking locations, parking PRICES, crowds, security, etc. Once you get through all that, pretty nice place. Clean, multiple eating locations and bars throughout. We attended a comedy show and this got a mini suite and it was nice. Went through VIP entrance, very smooth and efficient. They have a food buffet outside on your suites which consisted of hot dogs, baked potato, meatloaf, chips and dip with chicken sliders. Pretty good not bad. In our suites we had unlimited beer, unlimited bottles of wine and soft drinks, cheese and meat selection. Good seats with an island and chairs to sit around and talk while eating. Worth the price to split between friends and enjoy a show in a semi private experience.

Great arena! The dj kept the crowd moving while the game was going on! Security and checking in was fast and easy! Very close to the parking lot! Getting in and out of arena was probably the fastest of any arena I have been to. The problem come when getting out of the parking lot. They have to get a better system. It took us about 30 minutes to exit the lot...Ridiculous! But inside the game was cool! Would go to another game! Sorry they lost!

I attended a Hornet vs ATL hawks game at the Spectrum center. This was my first time attending a Professional NBA game. I found the staff here to be helpful. They have a strict bag policy. Be sure to keep the stadium guidelines at the forefront of your mind or you will be turned around if you don't. . I had extremely decent seats where I could see without straining or relying on the big screen. The game was engaging, fun and full of energetic Hornets fans. A fun experience and I'm looking forward to going again. As a NC native I couldn't help but root for the Hornets. I thought they did a great job!

Wow! Such a good arena to catch a basketball game. Right in the heart of Charlotte and within walking distance of transit and many parking garages. Located across from the Charlotte Transportation Center, the city's main bus hub and light rail stop. Enjoyed the venue because of the different types of food stations, grab and go options, multiple large bars that can serve like 40 people and large hang out area on the second level. Not a bad seat in the house!

First game I attended for 2025-26 was on 12/31/25. And it is evident that interior of the arena with the concession stands had been done over.

The spectrum center was okay! Seats go up to 200 level which are considered "nose bleeds" to some. I didn't get any food so I'm not sure about prices. I'm sure they were high though. This is the first arena I've ever been in that had crazy lines and I've been to a lot. The security was enforced heavy & they even had k-9 dogs walking through . That's also a first for me . Bathroom attendant was very nice and she didn't pressure you to leave tips.

My cousin and I attended the Charlotte Hornets vs Atlanta Hawks game. The arena was very easy to enter, however, please ensure that you have your tickets ready to aid in the process. The staff are extremely helpful. Please ensure to follow all bag and purse size guidelines. We had to walk back to the room to take our bags back. Other than that, our seats were perfect and Hornets obtained the win. I definitely recommend.

This was my first time going here for a concert . This place is very nice and has a parking garage next door for easy parking. Staff were very nice and helpful when we needed assistance on finding our seats.

Incredible stadium with passionate fans. I love stadiums that offer more than just what's on the court. When you walk around, you get to see the history of the Charlotte Hornets along with history of the building. They even have a Jordan store inside the team store. You can get a brand new pair of shoes while you watch a game. The only downside is the food wasn't too good. I had some chicken tenders that tasted stale. The upside is the fan base. The hornets are having a down year but their fans still showed up and were well into the game.

Ask the Community - Spectrum Center

Are the club seats in the 100 level bigger than the other seats?

No. Go to up the Lounge area in L1 L2 L3 or the Prmium Suites for a private table with big office style chairs and walking area to the bars and buffet restaurant

How is it for a concert?

It's your typical basketball arena setting. Sound quality is very good. Seating views are all good, of course better if you have closer seats

Best place to park for a Hornets game?

Probably the green parking deck. We found it cheaper than the parking lots, but this was during a concert and not the hockey game. Plus the parking deck is lit up and you feel safer walking through it.

Where is recommended parking for the Spectrum Center?

Several locations all around the arena. Parking in the lots are reliable thanks to cameras and the Police Officers patrolling them! We parked across from the arena and paying was very simple at the Kiosk! You can pay with cash or card.

Merch tables were sparse, which created crazy, long lines. The city did an awful job blocking off streets and making access to and from the stadium a nuisance. Dad and I had the opportunity to see the Panthers take on the Saints. While the action was a dud, the stadium itself is one of the better ones in the NFL. Sitting in the lower 100 level area at around the 20 yard line, I'm impressed with the stadium noise and ease of navigation. It is within walking distance from the downtown area and the entrances are spread out that allow for easiness to enter/exit the premise. A few attractions here such as the Sam Mills statue add to the mystique of watching an NFL game here. As for concessions, the food isn't anything to write home about as you get your typical peanuts/hot dogs/soda stuff. Tall beers run for about $11-12 here which is lower than some other stadiums I've been to. As for parking, get a parking pass in the garage as your vehicle is secure and exiting the garage is pretty easy once everything dies down. Best bet is to uber/lyft here or hang in the parking lot and tailgate. I'd be open to attending another game here or maybe a concert. Not bad Charlotte.

Getting into the venue was an easy process and the venue itself is laid out well. Seats are clearly marked and it's easy to find food, bathrooms etc. We had seats so no lawn but I believe you cannot being in chairs or blankets and I think if that's the case, that isn't ok but I'm sure there is a reason for that. Two items to note as well. 1) this is an open air venue. There is no roof so be weather aware. If it rains, you will be wet. 2) getting out of the venue once you are in your car is going to take time. Two lane roads with merging etc so just be aware of that as well. Enjoy!!

GOOD VENUE, BUT NO CONSISTENCY WITH EMPLOYEES!…read more I went here in July to see BABYMETAL and loved this venue. It was easy to get in and out of, and no seats are bad. This week I returned to see Papa Roach & Rise Against. Firstly, security was absolutely absurd. They were inspecting every little thing and rejecting so many items. My husbands non-clear bag was measured and it was a HALF INCH too big. My friends fold-up picnic blanket was also too big, and their empty folded up tote bag for merch was rejected along with a mini flashlight. Thankfully the venue had a bag check in area where we could check all these items for $10. When we went through security again this time they had a problem with my husbands wallet chain, and told him to either throw it away or put it around his neck. Once inside the venue we got drinks, and they were pouring cans into cups. This was bit annoying due, especially since my drink was in paper which is not sturdy at all. But then throughout the whole night we saw half the guests drinking out of cans! No consistency in bartending rules. The good part about this venue is the small size, making every seat even in the lawn a great view. There are some bars and restaurants in walking distance to pregame or to keep the party going!

Once inside, the arena is well lit with bold signs marking the seat sections. It is clean and the seats are comfortable and easy to find. On the day I went, there were no concession stands open and many of the gates were closed. Folks were lined up at the lone vending machine station, and there were cones directing the crowd flow. It had an after hours sort of vibe to it. As if they were not offering the full "Halton" Arena Experience. Having said that, I didn't get to see this venue for all it's probably worth, but it was fine for seeing my nephew's showcase.
