Router died Saturday and after troubleshooting, nothing worked. Spectrum sent a tech over Sunday. He arrived an hour early. Connor was polite, smart, and thorough. Stay far away! Associate gave me the equipment for my service and told me to take it home and plug it in and in an hour I'd have service. They ran my credit card to set up auto bill pay, but it didn't work, so my first bill was late. The company called a few days later with a set up date where they came into my house. The date didn't work for me, the next available was a week later. I got billed for that week without service. The associate at the store said nothing about a $50 setup fee. I can't call the store to complain, the number goes to a call center. They'll make a note of it and that's about it. Oh, and once your phone number is in their system, get ready to have 2-3 sales calls a day. Super frustrating when your existing service isn't even set up yet! Really!?!?! At the new store in the Augusta Home Depot shopping area. Nice facility, but only two associates working with line that stretches from the back of the store to the front door. Come on, take better care of your customers! It really doesn't make sense. read more

Worst service ever! Never had a problem until the switch over to spectrum, now my internet is spotty at best BUT for the low price of $160 MORE PER MONTH they will upgrade my internet. So for the same exact service I get now only faster internet I have to pay over $250 a month. Insane. As soon as I can find a different internet provider I will drop them. read more

Straight talk by the way 38 dollars a month no one can beat that.My wife Kelly ordered over the phone got a price and went to this store to pick it up. When she got there she was told she told she was an existing customer yet hasn't had services in over 3 years. That the price would be 20 dollars higher than agreed to on the phone and they denied her the equipment the order was in the computer. THEY WONDER WHY PEOPLE CANCEL.We have a 400 x20 for 69.99 they were gonna charge her 89.99. After several calls we finally reached corporate the next day FedEx delivered what we needed within 12 hours of the order thanks FedEx. So for futher reference to anyone have the stuff send to you avoid this store if possible. Spectrum jacks prices up 3 times last year. 5 times in the last 2. You never get the quranteed speed s they claim there sales agents are misinformed and you know pay for self install which is upsurd. Spectrum should close down there in person stores in all locations and do online only it would serve them well. read more

Crooked operation. Can't send someone to address the issue for a week. After they told me on the phone that they'd have someone here next day. Internet worked for two hours after being on the phone for 45 minutes. Just awful service read more

They have a monopoly in this area...I was paying $35 a month before Spectrum took over Time Warner Cable 3 years ago..I am now paying $80 a month for basic TV and Internet service..All I need the TV for is NBC, ABC, CBS and Public TV..My download speed is 3.5 mpbs NOT 100mbps.. My cable bill is higher than my electricity bill..This company doesn't care about it's customers..You have to leave them for 30 days to get the deal new customers get..RIP OFF!..Anyone who works for this company should be ashamed of themselves.. read more

My rate increased by 20.00 and they stated that I was on a promotional price that expired so therefore I called to cancel my service as I feel as a consumer the price is not worth the product and the representative was very rude to me for cancelling my service. read more

Called their customer service line to put our service on seasonal hold starting effective 9/28/16. She said fine. However, I found out later, when I got the monthly bill, that they didn't do it. A phone call indicated that there is a "policy" that they don't make public related to seasonal holds (really...no joke.). How was I (or you) to know that their service representatives' word isn't binding? It cost me an extra $500, which they grudgingly reduced to $250. $250! Not doing the right thing. read more
