They sent a wrecker to get us and take us to their shop about a mile away. The tire was ruined. They did not have a Bridgestone and called several other tire stores, finding none. We asked if anyone nearby had Michelins - someone did. (Aside: we did not like the Bridgestones -- too noisy.) The owner drove 13 miles to get tires, and installed them right away. His alternator went out near midnight on Interstate 44 last night. He has never had to deal with car repairs being so far away from home, let alone freezing temperatures! I'll note that I located approximately 10 auto repair shops in the Pacific, MO vicinity and most had either no reviews or negative feedback online. Hoffman worked on a 2015 Chevy Cruze with oil leak. Claimed replace the following: Valve cover and…read moregasket, timing cover gasket, oil filter gasket, oil pan gasket, serpentine belt. $1500. Still leaked, turns out they never did the oil pan. Took back and fixed. Butch claimed his new guy worked on it. I had to take photos to prove the catalytic converter was not removed, (which has to for pan seal). Less than 3000 miles later everything leaking again. Took to another shop to check. They found bolts loose and missing from water pump and timing cover. Bolts loose on timing chain guide, so cover was rubbing from incorrect install of timing chain. Very unsafe as at any minute could have catastrophic failure. All damage was a result of poor workmanship. New repairs cost $2900. I would NEVER take a car here. As nice as guy Butch may be, there quality is terrible.
