They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, and they honored the estimate that Steve, the previous owner, gave me back in November '23, to the penny. The job was done perfectly, and they detailed the car inside and out as a complimentary service. Losing a long time, great service provider, feels like losing a good friend. Steve, Pat, and Ollie, were all part of making what is usually a financial and logistical nuisance, a warm and fun experience. I'll remember those years with fondness. I'm grateful that I had a positive experience with these new folks. Maybe I showed up after they worked through most of the expected transitional bugs, but I am hopeful. This service center is as convenient as can be for me, and I'd like to see this 1955 business continue to succeed as it has for 69 years....through good service to its community. No pressure new guy!...and thank you!

Kevin & Tim were super helpful & efficient at this Safelite location…read more I was at the Safelite in Peabody at 4:20pm on Saturday 3/7/26, looking for appointments available online. I went in, and there was no one in the office. As I was leaving, a man came out at approximately 4:25pm and said they were too busy to even look at my car. They didn't look busy, at all, there were no cars in the bay. I saw online that the Beverly location had an appointment at 4:30, so I rushed there and the guys at the Beverly location were more than helpful, even though I was a few minutes late due to being at the Peabody location. They were ready to take it in, easy going, friendly and super helpful. I should have come here first. They said it was no big deal, and took 10 minutes to fix the very tiny crack in my windshield. They made the process very easy. The difference in customer service at the Peabody & Beverly locations is astonishing. If you need any windshield repair in the North Shore, Beverly is far superior to the Peabody location with assistance, customer service, and you'll be in and out in no time! I will add, that it's impossible to get through to ANY Safelite location through their phones with the new AI system. I was able to connect after 4 attempts to a centralized call center, but Safelite as a whole should make it possible for local customers to contact their local locations. I was informed Safelite fired all of their local customer service reps since bringing in the AI phone systems (that aren't helpful), so you're better off going to the location to speak to someone.

I waited a week for my appointment during this snowpocalypse. There was supposed to be a second…read moresnow on Sunday, Feb 1st, so I was a bit worried, but they contacted me literally a dozen times betwen when I scheduled the appointment and Tuesday morning where my appointment was from 8am - 12pm, and I asked about snow and all they ever said was they needed room around the car. Finally at a few minutes before 11 am, the driver called me from a personal cell phone so I almost didn't answer it, and said there's snow on my driveway and because they use sharp tools, etc, he said he wasn't sure he could do the job, but that he would call his manager. He called back five minutes later and said he was going to have his manager call me. After ten minutes, I called the driver back and he said, the manager would call me shortly but he already left for his next job. Epic Fail. I will never use Safelite again and I will use the rest of my life to spreading this story over the internet. I don't have time for this. I will make sure my insurance company knows how I feel about this as well as anyone else that will listen to me.

It is a pleasure to work with Ernie. The customer service is always top notch. Every time you go to this service station you are greeted with a warm, friendly smile, and are treated to helpful advice from knowledgeable staff. Emailed 114 Auto Salvage on a Sunday to check into junking my vehicle with a blown engine. I was…read moreshocked to get a text message that same day, on a Sunday, letting me know they would gladly come out Monday to pick up the vehicle! Monday had a couple of hiccups, so the schedule didn't work, but first thing Tuesday they contacted me and the tow driver let me know exactly when he would arrive. I pulled over and opened my door, motioning for it to get inside, only to get sprayed by a skunk. First thing I did when I got home was roll all over the couch to get the skunk stench out, but that did not work. So then I ran into every room to rub myself on all my clothes and belongings, you know, to get the "all natural" scent back. After that was done, I brought my car to DrD to get it cleaned, but didn't tell anyone about the skunk odor to see if anyone would be so bold as to make any remarks regarding the scent.
