I've also noticed that when my dog goes here vs other grooming places that his feet and in between his eyes get trimmed a lot shorter, which is super helpful so he doesn't slip and slide around/ so he can see- both things I'm sure are SUPER helpful for him in his old age. It's a very low stress environment that my dog (who HATES the groomers) is able to settle down in. Apparently he even fell asleep at one point! Wow! Thank you to the puppycut team for the fantastic experience!

Heather was incredibly patient and calm with my big guy and you can tell she genuinely cares and wants both pets and owners to feel comfortable. My long-haired German Shepherd's grooming had unfortunately fallen to the back burner due to a rollercoaster ride of life, but Heather gave him the full works including working carefully through some matted areas and carefully shaved an area that needed it. It was not a rushed service by any means and I appreciated the time and care she gave him. He left looking so handsome and his fur was SO soft and fluffy. While I sat and waited for my dogs full service, I got to see and observe Butch with 4 other dogs and he was so attentive and sweet with the dogs he groomed. I got the chance to see him interact and groom 4 small dogs and he made it look effortless, one of them was giving him kisses and he just snuggled them back. It was really sweet to see that. Suzie at the front was kind and welcoming and was easy to talk to. She answered all my questions and definitely made me feel comfortable. Suzie was hopping back and forth between handling front desk needs, patients coming/going, and helping out with the groomers as needed. I think what surprised me the most was how all the dogs (even those waiting in the kennels) were calm and the place wasn't chaotic. I've been to other grooming places and it's always been stressful and the dogs look and or act like they're super nervous, or it's constant loud barking. Aside from my big guy "talking" it was chill. It's clear that Heather, Butch, and Suzie not only love what they do, but are really good at it too. This showed in the quality of their work and the warmth of their service. I'm so grateful to have found this mom-and-pop shop My 3 doggies will all be going here now oh and don't get me started on how they have the cutest and coolest bandana prints, lots of ribbons for those adorable ear bows or whale spouts, feathers (yes you read that right!!), and even HAIR TINSEL for the pets to get the vip treatment. Talk about a "sPAW" day? (Sorry I love puns and play on words) Thank you guys!

We drove down Antelope (from the direction of the freeway) and left onto Mariposa, and there was her shop. It was easy to find. As we walked in, there was a couch, a counter, with a grooming table, with dog cages behind her. It was a tight space, but she makes it work. I felt comfortable leaving Scamp with her because with our small quick chat, it was wonderful to hear she loves what she does. Scamp is a meduim size Terrier mix, and when we dropped him off at 2:45, she let us know he would be done at 5 pm. When we arrived at 5 p.m., Amy was doing the finishing touches on Scamp! He looked so adorable! We wanted his hair cut short but not down to his skin, and his facial features trimmed. He was so happy to see my sister & I! As she finished, I love how she talked to him as she trimmed him up. The cost of Scamp was $60. We also have Amy a tip. Scamp looked pretty amazing. He was bathed, his nails trimmed, and he smelled like watermelon, lol! Thank you, Amy! We will see you again soon!

I told him why I was calling, he said he was the owner, I could ask him since no groomers there. I explained my unique situation with my miniature schnauzer. We adopted from SPCA rescue. she had been hit by a vehicle 12/12/25. Underwent extreme surgery on both front legs. Once cleared. We started looking for groomer that could fulfill our one request. She never be in a kennel. Yes, we realize the request was not the norm. We were willing to keep looking until we found groomer that understood our request. The "Owner" reassured me, Olive would never sit in a kennel as long as we had an appointment schedule time. I asked for every appt? The OWNER reassured me, yes. I said, "Great" let's book an appt. Went to appt. Groomer said, they don't do NO Kennel guaranteed. The table, floor and rest of the area was not sanitized, clean or ready for my 4pm appt. Since groomer now saying exact opposite of what I was told. I immediately said, "well this doesn't work for me, I was told NO kennel time as long as have an appt." She got up, went to talk to Owner. Owner said, no kennel this one time. I told Owner that is not what you told me before booking this appt. Owner said, I know but I didn't know. I said, well that doesn't work for me. Straight bait and switch! Owner said well I told groomer do it this time for you. (Groomers are W2 not independent contracted) I said to owner, well as the owner you should know! I went to leave. Owner said, no stay for appt. I said, nope! How else will you feel loss to not honor your word. Owner lied to a customer by not knowing his own businesses policies, procedures. Didn't care enough to find out and follow up with me. Instead of he chose, bait n switch! He also was super disrespectful to me smiling and smirking at me like I was the crazy one!
