NO MORE GOLDILOCKS: It is not easy to find that special colorist and hairstylist in one person let alone in one salon. I have spent many hours in Salons only to be unhappy with the result. For example I loved the color, hated the cut or vice verse. I felt like Goldilocks.... PAMELLA easily determined the appropriate color not too light and not too dark and stlyed my hair in the most complimentary way. She also does waxing and threading which is a plus. I have had waxings and threadings from here to Paris and Amsterdam and find Pamella to be par with the best!.....No more Golidlocks here. I found just the right salon. I have mixed feelings on this salon. The nail attendant was so sweet and it was a pleasant conversation while I got a mani/pedi. I was using a Groupon for a shellac mani and a shellac pedi. However the quality just wasn't great. My fingernails had shellac on the skin that I had to trim off when I got home. It also started chipping after a day which everyone knows doesn't happen with shellac. I took a bath a week after and the "shellac" peeled off while I was washing my hair. Because of these occurs I seriously doubt it was the shellac that you get at other salons. I've never had a shellac last less than two weeks and this one lasted 8 days. My toes have also already chipped which doesn't even happen for me on regular pedicures and this was a shellac pedicure. read more

This is seriously the best haircut experience I've ever had. I have kind of thin hair so I've always avoided putting product in it because it made it look stringy. Not only did I receive an excellent cut, but Pamella put product in my hair that actually gave it some body without it looking stringy. She also advised me to cut the bangs off that were hanging in my face, and I let her do it which turned out awesome. I have had my hair cut by several stylists over the years and always felt scared to trust them, but she is the best because she takes her time and focuses on what is going to look best on a particular person. If only there were an option for 0 stars.... this was the worst eyebrow waxing experience of my life. I guess you get what you pay for, and I learned my lesson--never try another Groupon to get a deal on eyebrow waxing!! I came in, and there was no reception area or anyone in the front room, so I just wandered into the back to find someone. When I did, the owner had me lay back in a chair that had been just covered with new paper. So far, not bad. I told her I just wanted her to clean my eyebrows up but to definitely leave their thickness (I have light blonde eyebrows and already have to fill them in with a pencil). She didn't even use makeup remover to take off my eyebrow pencil--she just rubbed my face with a dry cotton ball until some of the pencil was gone. Then she drew on the eyebrows in the shape she though they should be (basically rectangles with points in the middle). I told her again that I wanted to keep the natural shape, but she ignored me after that. Not only did she take off some of the thickness of my eyebrows, they're COMPLETELY uneven. My right eyebrow is shorter and thicker and my left now starts further away from my nose and is longer. The waxing was completely haphazard and this was such an unprofessional and negative experience. When I got up from the table, I noticed how dirty the back of the salon was. There were little hairs on the wax pots, and other hairs on the table that i hadn't seen before I sat down! I left almost in tears. Thank god for eyebrow pencils and good makeup. read more

I went to this hair salon n it was horrible i have seen a hair salon like this. My hair was light and i want to change my hair a lil bit darker. I had the groupon deal for cut and hair color for 55. I walk in and sat down and ask to dye my hair and she ask what color do i want. So i show her on the and she ask is that what you want and i told her i just want the brown to be a lil bit darker. She had dye my hair totally dark dark brown which i didnt like it at all. I had pay her 10$ extra because she say my hair is long which is fine. Im not a bad tipper i tip her 20$. I text her and talk about my hair and she complain is was english problem that why i dont understand. I feel bad because she not american and im vietnamese is feel like she racist. Finally she told me she would fix my hair and tell me come in 8am in the morning i was like ok i took my friend with me. At first she told me to redo solid color is 20$ and 45 for ombre. She didnt tell me anything about bleach cost extra or anything. I ask her for ash blonde 7AA she said "then i have to bleach it" and she slame close the book. My friend and i look and laugh and act like we didnt care. Took her three hours to do my hair and turn out very brown yellowish. My friend ask her to blow dry my hair but she said "it will cost more total for her today is 40$." My friend look at her and argue. I dont get it i pay for groupon price and dont get want i want and i pay 100$ groupon and extra and 20$ tips and my hair dont look like the way i want it. She so confident dont worry if she bleach out done everything will turn alright.
