I just had these folks out to do work 3 days ago, and they were great. Joe came right when he said…read morehe was going to, for the estimate, and he was very thorough in explaining the whole process. Nicki, in the office, was phenomenal. It's SO nice not to have to play phone tag with a business. She was very friendly, and quite responsive, every time I had a question. I also appreciated the way that she attached their licensing & insurance certificates at the bottom of the contract, without having to be asked. When the work crew came out a week later, they got right to it. They did everything they said they would, and their clean-up was amazing. Even though I have woods in the back, they didn't throw a single twig back there. They hauled everything out to the chipper in the front. My lawn & driveway were pristine when they left. I highly recommend.

We recently had a tree service examine our tree's health. While the tree was healthy, we were told…read morethat we should remove limbs, which would cost nearly $2000. When we were ready to move forward, the company was backlogged longer than we could stand, so we called another firm, B & M Tree Service. The manager came out before 9 am the next day, and explained that the limbs were no threat or in any danger. He joked that he would take our money if we insisted, but the job was totally unnecessary. This level of integrity is worthy of public note. Neighbors have worked with B & M and note their good work. Hopefully, we won't need them, but we know who to call.

KDF really ticks all of the boxes. Responsive, communicative and generally top tier customer…read moreservice from start to finish. Precise and efficient work from a team that clearly works well together...they did exactly what they said they would. Very tidy clean-up. The price tag ultimately felt like really good value for everything they provide. We had a particularly complicated tree (very tall and right next to power lines and the house), and they were both willing to take on the challenge (unlike some other companies) and handled it perfectly. Their big cranes, which most other local companies don't have, differentiate them as much as the guys who do the truly impressive work. Highly recommended.

This is our second time using KDF to trim and clear trees both on our home property and a rental…read moreproperty. They have consistently been professional, helpful, and fair in pricing. It has been easy to get understandable quotes and the quotes were honored. They also noted which trees could wait for removal or didn't need to be removed. They have cleaned up afterwards, and left or taken wood as we asked. In short, it has been a pleasure dealing with them at every turn. It feels like they are an "old-school" company in that they offer excellent service at a fair price, communicate clearly and respectfully, do what they say they will do, and offer helpful advice and information in the process. I cannot imagine using any other service as long as KDF is in business. I enthusiastically recommend them in the strongest possible way.

Called this tree service to have two large trees trimmed. Their price seemed very high. Asked…read morethem about a small side job thinking they'd probably just include it in the cost. The quote for that little bit of work was exorbitant. The second estimate I got was one-half what Brother's Tree Service quoted. Can't comment on their work, but they're overpriced. As for the company's response, a licensed and insured arborist did the work.

We've called on Brothers' Tree Service twice, both times for tree emergencies. The first time was…read morewhen a red oak fell on our home, directly over our heads, just after midnight on a Saturday night. We called Brothers at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning. They were on site in about an hour, with mega heavy duty equipment and a crew of four. My husband is still working his way through the wood from that tree! Most recently, he made toddler beds for our twin grandchildren. Two days ago, my husband saw that a branch on a dead pine tree had cracked and was in danger of falling onto the road. I called the main number and chose the "tree emergency" option, which patched me right through to Joseph's cell phone. He was on our doorstep in 15 minutes and the guys took that tree down later that same afternoon. True professionals with the right equipment and experience. We feel completely safe in their hands. Ethical, family-owned, community minded (Joseph is a volunteer firefighter), responsive - I mean, what more can I say?

If I could give zero stars I would give zero stars. Watch out for his guy...did some work last year…read moreat our house. Overbooked himself and sent people he know (one was an electrician not even a patio guy) to complete the work. On day two we were told he would be there early in the morning except he never showed up only his workers did.Everything was rushed and At one point when it was taking longer than expected a third person was brought in who randomly showed up at my house in a broken down Blazer with his wife who stayed in the front yard smoking cigarettes the entire time. The work was very sloppily completed and when he came to collect the money that was owed as final payment we pointed out all of the things that were still wrong he assured us he would come back and fix them. After a couple days they came back and fixed the issues that we pointed out except fixing the fire pit that was built. Some of the pavers had been cracked during him rebuilding it and structurally it did not have a good appearance. Now a year later more of the pavers from the fire pit are cracking and are on glued. Some of the Polymeric sand is coming up. And all the new pavers on the patio up here almost faded some with a white tinge to them and you can very obviously tell where the original patio ends and the new patio that was added begins. When he had assured us everything would match. It almost has an appearance like they forgot to seal them properly When my wife reached out to him last year with questions he blocked her phone number and blocked her from Facebook. I have now reached out to him this year three times and I've gotten no responses.
