They installed a CarPlay stereo in my Audi with new speakers. It looks factory and sounds great at a reasonable price.

I purchased a new truck with the equipment that I needed and the intent of customizing it to my liking... SpeakerBox was highly recommended by another shop that has done work on my truck... I wanted to add factory style fog lights but they didn't offer that service, so they recommended SpeakerBox. I'm a very picky vehicle owner and I'm also hard to impress!!! SpeakerBox did an outstanding job and no one can tell that the fog lights aren't factory installed! Kudos to Taylor and whoever did the installation... the installation is professional, and clean... you can't see any wires or signs of it being an aftermarket installation! I'm 60 years old and have owned many vehicles, many high end vehicles too... I've never seen such high quality work and customer service!!! I've already started another project with SpeakerBox and they definitely will be my go to place for my other vehicles!!! I can't recommend them enough... not sure why anyone would give them a one star rating... unless it's the competition!!! I was referred to Speakerbox by Brian's Tire and Service because I wanted to get a backup camera AND a new radio, since the one I had blown out. Taco helped me. He was professional and answered all my questions and concerns, and he took time to help me make the best decision. Being on a tight budget, but driving long distances in my car, Taco helped me get the best I could for the price. I felt like he really was listening to my concerns and needs. After installation, he offered I call with any questions. At one point, I called him from another State to get help with the way things seemed to be different on the radio, and he talked me through the reprogramming. Not only was Taco supportive and considerate, but I believe the customer service I received from other staff members - the manager, the front desk people, and the installation person, was professional and excellent. I stopped by to see about getting a subwoofer for my suv. Since I plan on using my vehicle for travel I wanted the sub flush with the interior and not in a traditional box. I had my own ideas but their knowledgeable staff were able to come up with something that was beyond perfect for my needs. They also didn't treat me like an idiot like some of the other stereo shops have done just for walking into their store. I have had a system in every car I have owned for the last almost 20 years and I have dealt with a lot of the stereo shops in the area. Outside of knowing an installer personally, Speakerbox and their crew were phenomenal from the time I walked in the door. They were even able to get me in and out before I went out of town. Had them install some flood lights on my old Kia Soul in order to illuminate curbs and medians at night during Uber activity. Perfect install!!! Problem solved!!! Great product! Great service! Speakerbox did a fantastic job of fixing another local car audio installer's extremely poor work. They were thorough and knowledgeable and up front about the situation and the cost. They reinstalled the head unit, mounting it as it should be mounted. They also reinstalled the backup camera, placing it where it should be, just as they did the satellite radio antenna. At $125 an hour it's very expensive but I have confidence it was done well and will last the life of the vehicle. read more

Avoid this place. Seriously the only good thing about this place is the installer Scott. Dude does solid work that doesn't need questioning. The rest off the staff, not so much. They will set you up an appointment, you'll leave your vehicle there for hours only to find out they don't even have what you ordered over a month ago. They are a total waste of time. I can't say enough good things about Speakerbox! They fixed issues I was having with my head unit and also installed an amp and two subs. I got estimates from other audio companies in the area. The other audio companies tried to scam me on the quality of my amp kit. I knew what I had. Speakerbox said typically we don't use other amp kits but you have a quality amp kit so we will install it. Taylor and Alex were an absolute joy to deal with. Everything turned out great. They did an incredible job and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend! As a small business owner in the north alabama area we sometimes contract customized audio and 12v work for our customers job orders, I have found these guys the only shop who stands by their work which in turn keeps my customers happy. Electronics fail sometimes, that's inevitable. But having a strong experienced core of installers who perform the work right the first time has shown to be a huge improvement from the other shops. Taylor repaired my speaker wiring, added needed hardware and even sealed my rear speakers on my 2017 F150. Speakerbox has replaced a broken old stereo in my husband's truck and recently brought my old Mustang up to date with a new Bluetooth enabled stereo. They really know what they're doing and do it well! They set up so the new stereo in my husband's truck retains the steering wheel controls for the stereo. They placed the Bluetooth microphone in my Convertible so well that I can use Siri on my phone to tell it what music I want playing - very convenient and safe while on the road! We highly recommend them for any sound system / electronics / customization you might want for your ride - they are Awesome! :) read more

I Drive a small 2 door hatchback VW, I called The SpeakerBox at their 72 location for a window tint estimate. The man i talked to on the phone Google searched an image of my car and quoted my tint at $400!!! I took my business down the street and got the same thing done for half that. Ive never had them do audio work for me so i cannot comment on that. but for window tint I would NOT recommend. read more
