Since I was anxiously looking for a mobile service , I didn't hesitate to book the appointment when I received a text from Karol. When the day of the appointment came I received a picture from the owner indicating what door I should utilize to access her studio. At that moment I realized the mistake and explained the misunderstanding and offered to pay a cancellation fee. At which point the owner proceeded the charge me for the full service. $130. She argued that she had sent me the address (which is untrue), and that she doesn't offer mobile services although her square profile clearly states 'they'll come to you' under location (see attached picture). Against my wishes, and after a lot of back and forth with the owner, I drove to the salon, which is very far from my house. She sent me a screenshot of what she received from Yelp, and although it didn't specify that I was looking for a mobile service, it clearly showed that I was looking for services in my area, which is very far from her salon. Nonetheless, I decided to make the best of it. I chatted with other customers, the owner, and my nail tech. My nails took a long time, but I didn't mind too much because I was very happy with the result. By the time I was done with my nails, I wasn't feeling my best and wanted to get home, so I informed the owner that I wouldn't be doing my pedicure. I was told that I would be charged for it. I couldn't believe it! Logically, I got the pedicure - I was already there. As an entrepreneur myself I pride myself in providing the very best customer service. Sadly that is not what I experienced today. While I understand that the misunderstanding wasn't entirely the salon's fault, it wasn't mine either. Meeting me halfway would've been a more appropriate response. And forcing me to pay for a pedicure as well was unnecessary. I was so pleased with my nails that I was actually considering going back and recommending the salon to my daughter who works in the area. However, after having experienced the inflexibility of the owner, lack of accountability and poor customer service, I won't be returning and my daughter refuses to go, as well. If anyone is looking for a mobile service beware that this person doesn't offer this service although her square profile states that she does. Only giving it 2 stars because my nail tech did a great job.

I messaged her through Yelp, and her son (or nephew?) was quick to respond back with how I could book an appointment with Nery. She is extremely packed on weekends and evenings, so I took a half day for myself and went on a random Tuesday morning. A regular, non-gel mani/pedi for me took about an hour and a half - just as estimated when I booked the appointment too! Nery was welcoming, and completely understanding that I am indecisive. I changed my nail colors at least 3 times, and spent more than half my manicure debating is I should change my pedicure color (I did). But who can resist when Nery has walls of OPI and Zoya colors? I'm a sucker for Zoya, and dozens of colors she had on her wall, I also have in my closet. That's how I knew I would love Nery - quality polishes. None of the gross Kleancolor stuff I see a lot at other salons in the area. I chose a matte green from Zoya, opting to not put a top coat on it because it's a matte and c'mon, it looks really good. My favorite part? When she broke out the hand-mixer turned pumice stone when it was pedicure time. I don't know why I loved it, but it craked me up. And it really got all my dead skin off the heels of my feet! Eventually, I nodded off for a few minutes because it got to be really relaxing - the music she was playing when I was there was a great Pandora station of chill dance music (think Sia and Kygo). Adianez was my tech for the first visit, and while she was very nice, I don't speak Spanish fluently, so communication was difficult, especially since I had to show her the technique for reptile nails using blooming gel. I recently came back for another plain red set and was assigned a different tech Heydi, who was visibly frustrated when she couldn't achieve the sharp stiletto shape I was requesting, and passed me off to Adianez since she had done my last set. The salon doesn't feel welcoming, especially when the techs seem annoyed and don't pay as much attention to detail as I have become accustomed to with my last long-term tech. My nails always break as well and retention isn't great - I had to come back in to get a nail fixed for each set (for which they charge $7) and since my last nail fix on my current set, three more nails have broken. I'm pretty disappointed, and don't recommend this salon if you are particular about your nails/nail art and want nails that last.

I was immediately greeted and shown to a chair and offered a color pallet to choose from. No acetone removal; rather gentle and efficient electric drill with plastic tip removed the old gel polish and within a Judge Judy episode, I was all cleaned up and at only $28, I may have to fly back because Lady did an amazing job!
