She knows her stuff, always gives the best advice, and I fully trust her judgment... except when I make her cut my super long nails every once in a while (I know it hurts her a bit inside, but she's a good sport about it!). Since I was anxiously looking for a mobile service , I didn't hesitate to book the appointment when I received a text from Karol. When the day of the appointment came I received a picture from the owner indicating what door I should utilize to access her studio. At that moment I realized the mistake and explained the misunderstanding and offered to pay a cancellation fee. At which point the owner proceeded the charge me for the full service. $130. She argued that she had sent me the address (which is untrue), and that she doesn't offer mobile services although her square profile clearly states 'they'll come to you' under location (see attached picture). Against my wishes, and after a lot of back and forth with the owner, I drove to the salon, which is very far from my house. She sent me a screenshot of what she received from Yelp, and although it didn't specify that I was looking for a mobile service, it clearly showed that I was looking for services in my area, which is very far from her salon. Nonetheless, I decided to make the best of it. I chatted with other customers, the owner, and my nail tech. My nails took a long time, but I didn't mind too much because I was very happy with the result. By the time I was done with my nails, I wasn't feeling my best and wanted to get home, so I informed the owner that I wouldn't be doing my pedicure. I was told that I would be charged for it. I couldn't believe it! Logically, I got the pedicure - I was already there. As an entrepreneur myself I pride myself in providing the very best customer service. Sadly that is not what I experienced today. While I understand that the misunderstanding wasn't entirely the salon's fault, it wasn't mine either. Meeting me halfway would've been a more appropriate response. And forcing me to pay for a pedicure as well was unnecessary. I was so pleased with my nails that I was actually considering going back and recommending the salon to my daughter who works in the area. However, after having experienced the inflexibility of the owner, lack of accountability and poor customer service, I won't be returning and my daughter refuses to go, as well. If anyone is looking for a mobile service beware that this person doesn't offer this service although her square profile states that she does. Only giving it 2 stars because my nail tech did a great job.

When you book and select the technician (I didn't get who I selected) it's for a one hour slot for both gel mani and regular pedi. The person went over the time by an hour and a few minutes, but other than those two things, my nails still look good after two weeks and it's time to make another appointment. The chairs were just regular swivel chairs for a pedicure instead of the usual massage chairs, the buckets they gave us for our feet made the water go cold really quickly, the stool used to perch our feet kept sliding as it was made of cheap plastics, and despite the lotions and scrubs being high end, they were also just a quick part of the experience and not really worth paying for. Again the staff were extremely kind, it's just the services offered leave some to be desired while still paying the premium cost. I don't think I would come back here again. Our pedicures turned out great, but I wouldn't say any better than my old nail salon.

I have an AirTouch technique in my hair, and since the salon does not offer AirTouch services, I wanted to confirm in advance that we could achieve a similar look using balayage or highlights. I was assured we could proceed. At the appointment, I waited a bit (which I understand happens in Miami). Once seated, the stylist examined my hair carefully and suggested doing a half head of highlights first to see how my fine, chemically damaged hair would react. I appreciated the caution and explained my previous negative experience with another stylist. When I left the salon, I was happy. The result wasn't identical to my inspiration photos, but I felt good about it. However, after washing my hair once, I noticed obvious orange foil spots and poorly blended areas near my ears. I immediately contacted the salon, and to their credit, they accommodated me the next day for a correction. Unfortunately, the solution offered was to darken my roots to cover the orange spots. This left me questioning why I paid $450 to lighten my roots, only to have them darkened again. Now, just a little over two weeks later, my hair already looks grown out because of the darker roots. For the price point and reputation of this salon, I expected better execution and a longer-lasting result. I truly wanted to love the experience, but overall, I'm very disappointed.
