I guess they give you arepas (or maybe they ran out of tortillas) with it. I wasn't upset by the arepas. The aqua fresca was good and I also tried a chicken burrito which was good. The chicken was seasoned but not as flavorful as the carne asada. I also enjoyed their chips. It wasn't like Tostitos. I will be coming back here to try more items and I will be eating the carne asada again.

The place is clean and nicely decorated to represent Mexican culture. We got a menu and we sat down. We were the first ones to arrive and two more couples came after us. Although we're the first ones to arrive, the staff took deodorant of the Latino family first. When she came to her to take her order, I asked her why she took their order first when my husband I arrived before hands. She went ahead to say the Latino couple who spoke Spanish with her, had called in. I found it hard to believe because if they had called then why did she have to take their order again & mind you, I spoke Spanish with her. My husband's ready to leave, however, since the reviews were decent we stayed. We ordered nachos, chicken with cheese and jalapeño cheese pupusas, as well as two tacos. The food lacked some flavor and personally I did not like the chicken pupusa, perhaps because my stepmother makes them really good. I don't think I'll come back here. I believe in making a review, I consider everything from the time that you walk into the door until the time you depart. Favoritism may not be appealing to all the customers, especially in a small environment.

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". Will definitely be back very soon and I suggest everyone in the area to come as well!!!

I don't hand out five-star reviews lightly, but Delicias Dayana absolutely earned every single one…read moreof them. The moment our food arrived, I knew we were in for something special. Let's start with the beans... finally, real beans! Thick, creamy, flavorful, and not swimming in water like you find at so many other places. It sounds like a small detail, but trust me--it makes all the difference. The crema? Fresh, rich, and delicious. Again, not watery or runny. You can tell they take pride in using quality ingredients instead of cutting corners. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the plantains were sweet and caramelized just right, and every bite tasted homemade. Now... let's talk about the pupusa. I've eaten pupusas all over the DMV and in many different states, so I don't say this lightly... this is one of the best pupusas I've ever had. The masa had the perfect texture, the filling was generous, and the flavor tasted authentic from the very first bite. Here's the funny part... I took a few bites and immediately thought, "Nope... this is way too good to finish here." I asked for a to-go box because I wanted to enjoy the rest for lunch the next day. The gentleman helping us smiled and even brought me an extra bag of curtido without me asking. That small gesture made my day. And yes... that pupusa was just as incredible the next day! The restaurant itself is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with colorful murals that make you feel like you've taken a little trip to Central America. The staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely happy to make sure we enjoyed our meal. If you're anywhere near this area, do yourself a favor and stop by. And if you're an hour away like I am... it's still worth the drive. Great food has no expiration date on distance, and I can already tell you I'll gladly make the trip again just to work my way through the rest of the menu. Thank you, Delicias Dayana, for reminding me what authentic homemade food should taste like. I'll definitely be back... probably sooner than my waistline would like!

The food wasn't bad because I enjoyed the carne asada. However, the rice looked and tested like Uncle Ben's. Some of the wings didn't have a lot of meat on them. The empanadas were interesting. Essentially they used maduros and put a sweet vanilla filling. I didn't particularly like them but it's just personal preference.

The team is very polite and ensure your food and made to order. The restaurant does give you authentic Central American vibes. There is plenty of seating to have a medium to large party. Most customers in my experience tend to order take-out during the hours I visit. I do recommend the burritos, quesadillas, soups, horchata, and fine assortment of pastries. Overall they hit the mark at 4 out of 5. Definitely give them a try. I did eat the sopa de res the next day so the glass container is what I transferred it too along with the rice. En general, alcanzaron la marca en 4 de 5. Definitivamente, pruébalos.

They always have customers in line be in 9 in the morning or 6 in the evening. I see a lot of work trucks pulling in with 3 or 4 guys getting out to get a meal. I kept saying we needed to stop there...and finally I did! Guys, it's so good. On my first visit, I wanted to try both the chicken and beef tacos (for two people) so I asked for one plate of each. Got one container with two of each variety, which was more than enough for us ($12 cost). We liked the flavor of the beef more than the chicken although both very good. The fresh lime half they provide really brightens up the meat. The tortillas seem like they are homemade. The green sauce is a little fiery so use caution. The second time I went, it was just for me but I was craving those beef tacos so I got three ($10 cost). I struggled to eat them all but they are so good!! They have other items like chicken, fajita, carne asada, burritos, etc. So swing by sometime and enjoy something really tasty!

The wait was really long but it's understandable because there were a lot of orders and looks like they make everything fresh. You pay when your order is ready. Not sure if they're cash only but everyone seemed to pay with cash. They also have Zelle. I got the bean and cheese pupusas, which you can get in orders of 3 (for $10) or 4. The portion for the price was pretty good imo. They came out piping hot--even when I was almost done eating them, the last piece was still so hot! The pupusas were crisp and surprisingly not oily. The filling was cheesy and soft. The curtido was crunchy but not the best I've had. Sauce was great too, except I wish they had containers for it, because it spilled everywhere in the tray and made the bottom pupusa soggy. I'm not an expert, but these were some of the best pupusas I've had! If you're willing to wait, definitely try this place out.
