Old Neighborhood pizza join that make descent pizza. I tried the spaghettini meatballs and the Sparta special pizza. Next time I'd just stick with the pizza. Will definitely be back for the pizza. Giving Taste a 7 because pasta wasn't good. T - 7 A - 7 B - 8 S - 8 read more

Went there today with our granddaughter for lunch. We've always wanted to try, so this was our first and last time! 1st an ant crawled all over our table. 2nd I ordered salad with chicken, there was no chicken, my grand daughter and I got our lunch while grandpa had to wait at least 5 or more minutes for his! Very, very disappointed! No wonder there were no cars in the parking lot! read more

I was excited to try this upside down method (toppings underneath the cheese vs vice versa). Thought that was an innovative idea but unfortunately didn't love it. It resulted in the cheese becoming... stiff? If that makes sense? It came in a block form almost as if it was melted on a plate beforehand and then layered on top of the pizza after cooking (I doubt this is the procedure but that's how it felt). The cheese wasn't melted into the sauce/crust/toppings at all. End of the day it's take out pizza so we can't complain, but it wasn't my favorite. read more

We were seated immediately and the atmosphere was very homey and nice which I loved. They had an indoor fire pit which was cool. They had an abundance of staff but we were one of the only tables of guests. The food was good. We got a #34, #35, and a create your own pizza. They are deep dish pizzas and the larges are definitely a lot of food.. but they are also expensive. The pizzas were unique, as they have cheese over the crust, which I really enjoyed. We also got the mannicotti, which was good but nothing to write home about. We got a Caesar salad and a house salad with the creamy feta dressing which was really good and unique! I think the biggest let down was the service and the set up. We were a group of four, but did not have enough room for the 3 pizzas on our table so one had to be put on a nearby table which was annoying. Our server also kept forgetting little things- side of ranch, drink refills, extra plates, etc. Overall, our experience here was fine but it was definitely nothing to write home about. read more

Great service Modest pricing We loved the pizza - it was more of the traditional thicker crust style which sent both my husband and I to our childhood eating at Pizza Hut family restaurants and it was a great experience for our family I would give a .3.5 if I could. read more

Alright Sparta.. "Best pizza in the universe." Challenge: Accepted! Let me first point out the pictures attached to this review. This was our first Sparta experience... and it was effing phenomenal! We typically like to challenge new restaurants with our more complicated orders the first time and Sparta's Pizza & Spaghetti House in Bothell not only took on the task of hand crafting us the absolute picture perfect pizzas.. the quality was nothing to shake a stick at! Here's the rundown: Their crust is just... unfair. What will definitely make us keep coming back for more is the crust. A good pizza place knows that their dough is the absolute foundation of their entire business. (Pun intended) Sparta delivered a crispy pan fried deep dish bottom with a delicate, perfectly chewable inside and airy outside crust that makes you want to keep eating long after you've reached your limit. Wear comfortable clothes. The sauce is no-nonsense. Traditional in every sense of the word. They don't over complicate it. You get a robust, thick tomato base with just the right amount of flavor. They don't over sweeten or salt this stuff. It's just to the point. The toppings are fresh, flavorful and hearty. They aren't shy but also aren't sloppy. They pile on your requested items freely and you won't feel like they are being stingy. To finish things up and to ensure all of those toppings are complimented ... the danish mozzarella. All I can really say is this... Just... wow. The cheese tastes just the way you would expect it to taste by looking at it. (Again...see pictures) The thick and thin of it is this: "We prayed to the pizza gods and they delivered." I swear I was eating the final bite of my pizza and could hear Gerard Butler screaming "..This is Sparta!!!" Check them out. They have definitely won our business. See you guys soon! And P.s. thanks for adding magic! -Jeffrey and Sable read more

Food not good. Not the noodles, not the sauce, not the chicken, not the shrimp, not the olives, not the bread. Chicken parm tasted weird. Shrimp in shrimp salad had no flavor. The bread was dry amd flavorless. The 1000 island salad dressing was great. The starter Chicken and Rice soup that had no chicken nor rice was our first clue. Service was great, though! Friendly people. Sorry I wont be back. read more

Great pizza, I've only gotten takeout from here, but it was fantastic! I love their crust, it's the perfect crispiness and they put the toppings under the cheese, also love. I got signed up for their texts and they have different special every week and ways to save. read more

Absolutely delicious. Had a small pizza and a side of spaghetti. My son and daughter in law had a pizza and a side of Alfredo. Also delicious. The salad we started with? Also delicious! Good service too. I'll be back! read more

This is the second time I have ordered pizza from the Bothell Sparta's where I was completely disappointed. I have frequented the Lynnwood location for years and that location is STELLAR and I highly recommend it, but the Bothell location frankly sucks! There is not enough cheese on the pizza to even cover the sauce underneath which makes the pizza dry and unappetizing. I shouldn't have to order a pizza with extra cheese, when the Lynnwood location has always had enough on where you don't have to unless you are a cheese-fiend. Should all locations of the same restaurant be the same? And consistently the same? Well, the two times I've been to the Bothell location they have skimped so much on the cheese that I'm all done trying to like them. So, they are consistent, at least, just not in a good way. I would rather drive further north to the Lynnwood location and have the better version of this pizza. read more

Got the Canadian bacon sausage and pepperoni large pizza. It was delicious! Thick pizza with lots of cheese and good quality tomato sauce. The meats were good and plenty. Definitely worth the deal for 5$ off first online order. Quick and friendly service, would come back. read more

Home of the 14" "Large (Medium) pizza for $50. How greedy can you get? 9" is small 14" is medium 18" is large and without tax or tips they want $38 for a little pizza NOT DELIVERY. That should be 4 pizzas. Boycott the greedy businesses that jacked up their prices during covid (which is fake) read more

Get their Sparta's Special Pizza!! Very delicious and has a lot of "stuff" in it which I love. We ordered the Spartas special, the Greek pizza, Baked Italian Sausage links + Spaghettini and Fettuccini Alfredo and the pastas comes with either salad or garlic bread so we got both. The salad was covered in danish cheese, and the garlic bread was super soft and fluffy but I couldn't taste the garlic so it was more of a buttered toasted bread than garlic bread. Our waitress was very nice but she forgot about both of our pastas and the garlic bread that comes with the pasta, and gave us the wrong pasta dish :( I think she gave us the baked spaghettini with meat sauce since our pasta didn't have any sausage links. We were also charged incorrectly which the waitress fixed but there was just a lot of back to back mishaps during this dining experience. She seemed new to the job/ young but she also knew how to resolve issues which I appreciated. read more

Super disappointed with the pizza we ordered tonight. We have been customers for many years and always loved their Special pizza. The pizza tonight was full of green pepper and onions, so much so that it was all you could taste. Sadly, we probably won't order again. Maybe not even have any pizza from any place for awhile. Wood-fired grill at center of restaurant sets the tone... this place is about pizza. A buddy and I dropped in to work on a special project of ours, the staff was attentive, but gave us enough room to talk and complete our checklist while also enjoying some very delicious pizza. Sparta's is always good! I've had Andre as a server twice in the last few months and he is excellent! Very friendly and attentive! Love their Canadian bacon and pineapple as well as the #34; chicken, feta and pineapple! Their house salad may be simple but with the blue cheese dressing it's our family favorite! read more

We love Sparta's! Been going to both locations for over 20 years and it never disappoints. Years ago a server told me the secret to their sauce is soaking cinnamon sticks in it. The baked (read: cheesy) pastas are so good but these days we mostly go for Pizza and love that we can Door Dash it since we never leave the house. It's such a great pizza - if you like really think crust and lots of Danish cheese then you'll love it. If you like thin crust, don't even go here (also, whyyyy? eww!). I'd say it's half way to a Chicago deep dish style. The ranch is unbelievable and we always get a quart! Anyhow - Sparta's is definitely our favorite pizza close to home in Kenmore! read more

All around great experience. The staff was super friendly, attentive and professional. We ordered pizzas, salads and the garlic cheese bread. I have to say the garlic cheese bread was AMAZING and you might have to ask for it because I did NOT see it on the menu. I actually didn't see an appetizer section on menu at all. The salads came with a huge slice of what looks like homemade garlic bread on the side. Delicious. I'll be back for sure. read more

Cheese melted over the top, hides the toppings below the super melty cheese layer. Delicious. Crust is sweet and chewy yet sturdy enough to support the toppings. Love it! Delivery was on time and efficient. Easy to order with tons of options. Price is higher than the big chains, but not by much. Especially for the quality of ingredients, crust and perfect sauce! So yeah, definitely would recommend. read more

Our neighborhood go to restaurant because we are always well taken care of and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is older but we love the cozy vibe. We often order through their app For pick up and have never been disappointed. What makes this place memorable is the service. We especially love the cheese pizza and salads. Simple but done very well and so fresh! read more

Danish cheese! Who knew? I didn't know, but I found out I love it! We had a fantastic Sparta salad covered in cheese and drizzled with house made creamy feta dressing. It was a great way to top off the meal. The pizza was so good we haven't stopped talking about it yet. It's just the way we like our pizza. The crust is not super thick (which is how I prefer it), but it seems like a deep dish because it is filled with toppings, and all of it is held in and held together by the luscious toasty layer of Danish cheese on top. Our service was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the selection of hard cider and beer. We walked out of the place stuffed and already talking about when we would go back. read more

Sparta's Pizza & Pasta House - Bothell - Awesome news. My Fred Meyer receipt shows a new location in Mill Creek (Fake) - Italian Near Me - Bothell, Washington

Uber eats messed up my order but Spartas fixed it and delivered it to my house. That's customer service!!!

The pizza here is good and packed with toppings. When we order it for delivery, it's ready very fast. Since we're local, it's still nice and warm when it gets to us. Their pizzas are not exotic or best-ever-in-my-life quality, but for a good neighborhood goto, it ticks all of the boxes in a very satisfying way. The packed toppings can make the crust a bit soggy by the time it gets to us, but that's tough to avoid with a delivered pizza and the flavors are good. They also have a great variety of available toppings and pizza combos that make it easy to get something for everyone. This is our goto neighborhood pizza source and we've never been disappointed with the quality, flavor, or speed. read more

Trying to figure out if this place recently changed ownership, or if their Pizza is great & the only thing you should get here? Not understanding the 4.6 stars, bc the Baked Spaghetti w/meat sauce, the Garlic Bread & the Cheese Bread were barely edible. Not kidding. Can't make bread taste good? Sad, bc it was so bad I'll Never go bk to try their pizza. Their meat sauce is a hard pass & ruined the spaghetti. I feel bad, but I'm not a picky eater... read more

Very good. I had the chicken alfredo pizza. Hubs had Italian sub and son had chicken parm. Very good all around .

Family style Italian food. I had the lasagna which was good; the noodles were not the flat larger noodles but narrower kind. Nothing wrong with that but just a different texture. Side salads were a bit boring but garlic bread a hit. Portions were larger so I had some to take home. Hostess and servers were excellent. read more

This restaurant has the very best pizza! It also has great salad, and other Italian dishes, which are excellent. We come here regularly, and will continue to do so. We started coming here over 20 years ago when we first lived here. We have moved back, and the restaurant is as good or better than it was then! I love the atmosphere. read more

We came here on Father's day and the staff were super sweet and funny, but the food was so incredibly bland. The garlic bread, as delicious as it was, was only buttered. The fettuccini alfredo was so underseasoned, but still okay. It was underwhelming overall, very white and bland. read more
